Good looking, well-mannered tri-plane! You have permission to use the engines from my Tri-prop "Carebear" post on your design. Speed will go up by 200 mph.
Yeah, these are SP wings or it wouldn't fly, the rear should shaped like the round part on a piece of pie. I could do that someday. The exhust pattern was what I was going for+altitude. @Aerobako
Thx. I tested a single-prop version, OK but not as fast. 2-props, only, was way two slow. Tri-prop version was highly experimental. I need to tweak the boom rudder and fuel amounts for easier landings (yes I can land it at 125 mph glide approach), but any variation of this design seems to top out between 720-725 mph level around 20,000 feet. @Himynameiswalrus
A new build. Potentially for the 700 mph stock engines prop plane challenge. This version of a new build is faster, but I'll also post an alternative build, which handles better. 100% stock everything.
Just a general observation folks, "clipped" engines have already been entered on planes for the 700 MPH challenge. Technical, these are not modded parts. These should be allowed, I think.
Unplanned schedule on that one; ideally CT can dig a "build" off his dad's desktop, and re-post. Doubt I could top his build. He sent some of us a link that did not work; needed to do an entire re-post. @Nickasaurus
Thank you, @Delphinus -- this desktop monster's performance actually exceeded my expectations, so I shared it. But, I prefer to remain mobile-friendly with other posts.
Thx, yes I did Independence Day "1400+ parts" ship also on a kindle. Here, those four outer HUGE engines were posted for public use, with the challenge that no one could really use them. Challenge accepted, accomplished. @bjac0

Thanks, this was a tweak of @Planefun build, @ququrooza
Thanks, @JacobHardy64 I just tweaked this for the original builder, @Planefun

Unfamiliar with that design. Dunno what star citizen is. @Oni789
Thanks, @Oni789
Thanks, @Delphinus
Thanks, @dsr1aviation
Well, highly re-designed with a similar paint scheme! Thanks, @Himynameiswalrus
Creative, I like it!
Thank you, @Noman0rumeral Check out my new tri-prop Carebear, I think its better all -around.
Thank you, @Oni789

Good hypno design!
@flyingsteve88 Thanks! A fictional Steampunk beast I dreamed up.
Thank you, @SteadfastContracting
Thanks, @Delphinus
Very similar flight to the original one.
Thanks, @Nickasaurus
Thanks @SteadfastContracting
@Customcargarage thx!
Thanks, @SUPERSAMROCK, @amazingperson124, @Meawk
Great detail, easy weapons release!
Interesting update. Flys high.
Thanks, @Nickasaurus
Good! Thx for info. @Nickasaurus

Nice variable leading-wing build.
Thank you, @SteadfastContracting
@Nickasaurus Simple parts, good result. Nice in-body front intakes,

Thx! Yes the fiction is classic. The steam plane is just an idea of mine. @Astron1
Yeah, couldn't resist -- someone posted those ridiculous outer engines, saying no one could apply them. @Nickasaurus
Thanks, @Skua A simple radix error -- 40 million feet is much closer to 7,500 miles (not 7).
Thanks, @Nickasaurus
It was a very old movie, electricity was "magic." @Delphinus
Thx, @Delphinus I'm a fan of old movies. Nemo did all with steam and "magic" electricity.
Thankss, @frankensteinmoneymac This simple model has the largest prop-type engines I have come across on SP. For future reference.
At least you could download. My kindle would not download an item I built on the kindle. @Delphinus
