Very decent! Learned how to stabilize a hi-performance X-29 type wing platform, which is tricky!

  • Gold, Thank You 10.3 years ago

    Good design. Congrats on "goldfish".

  • Obsidian Equinox 10.3 years ago

Beautiful wings, this is the first plane of yours that I could not get to fly. I'm on hi-res setting on the OSX. Will try it on something smaller later on. New topic: helicopters are a challenge, BUT a few have wings and operate very similar to your aircraft platforms. Checkout - www.simpleplanes.com/a/Z7o96K/Boeing-Vertol-347-Chinook

OK. But AC Carriers do 40 knots minimum, faster if needed (90 MPH approximately) - US-built submarines are much, much faster, with undisclosed speed. FYI.. @JMicah4

I could not get "STEAM" software to cooperate with the Jundroo SimpleRockets STEAM ad - think it's STEAM's fault, they sent ".exe" files to my OSX Mac. Just a warning... @Teus

  • Long-Range Naval Strike 10.3 years ago

Thanks @Rohan -- Well, on my iPad test I use the roll controls for steering, the VTOL is preset (Do Not change from middle bar) and I throttle up for desired speed. If you adjust VTOL all sorts of weird stuff would happen.

  • Alert Five 10.3 years ago

Thanks @Rohan -- I haven't looked at points today, so far.

  • Queen Mary 2 10.3 years ago

You got luckier than I could, with Walrus propellers. When I built my last AC carrier I removed Walrus props after testing, added strategically placed nozzles, and ship speed more than tripled.

  • Queen Mary 2 10.3 years ago

    Great ship and good build!

  • Gigas Exterminatore 10.3 years ago

Speed limited due to drag but very, very good and creative!

Click on "Stingray" on the USERS page. You can find what each developer posted under "All Airplanes" under that user. Pretty basic way to find things on SimplePlanes. @nathanplaysminecraft

  • USS Independence V.2 10.3 years ago

Well built - a blast to use on the SP water!

  • Long-Range Naval Strike 10.3 years ago

Under my page "Stingray" on SP look for "USS Minnow Mk I" (fires 3 salvos at the Tiny) also "Fast Missile Patrol III" @nathanplaysminecraft @kevpilot @thelatentimage - Gonna delete, mod and re-post since they work well and users did not even download them. The "USS Minnow Mk I" will remove the USS Tiny tower with a lucky shot up close; I've done it.

  • Stealth X32 Boeing Prototype 10.3 years ago

Thanks @planesnthings and @thelatentimage FYI adding tails did not help this wing planform, I could not figure out why so I deleted the tails.

  • Long-Range Naval Strike 10.3 years ago

Thanks @thelatentimage yeah these were a new missile build, I wanted greater range!

  • Long-Range Naval Strike 10.3 years ago

    Thanks @hypnotoad

  • Stealth X32 Boeing Prototype 10.3 years ago

All: just found out if taken to 120,000 feet this model flys OK like a straight line locomotive. As do most SP models at that sim altitude. Still, fun to fly!

  • USAF Insignia 10.3 years ago

Request, future mod performed on a swept wing, thanks in advance. Think others will really be able to apply a pre-swept wing beyond the rectangle limits of these insignia

  • USAF Insignia 10.3 years ago

    Thanks for the shared work!

  • Long-Range Naval Strike 10.3 years ago

Thanks for trying this new launch system out @jacobhardy64

Thanks! @planesnthings You post things I find amazing.

  • Long-Range Naval Strike 10.3 years ago

I have 2 larger ships posted, just go to my page. Hope I left them posted. This one has the Longest-Range Naval missiles on SP I think! @nathanplaysminecraft

  • Long-Range Naval Strike 10.3 years ago

I miss the context. I built the boat months ago. Want something fancier, got that also, but no sandspeeder. @VonRichthofen

  • NASA X-43 spacecraft (V.2) 10.3 years ago

Hey @Teus - good project in the works here. Do it justice! (Real X-43 is Mach 10, also 12 ft x 5 ft body plan, so improvise, as I Would do.) Great idea!

  • Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 10.3 years ago

A fresh approach here, excellent build & handling!

    Many thanks! @Allstarship

  • Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XIV 10.3 years ago

Agree. I posted a six-blade flying XIX model - it doesn't look as nice as yours, still was quite fast. @Allstarship

  • Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XIV 10.3 years ago

For the looks & handling. The Supermarine (XIX) version was supposed to have the six-bladed contra rotating propellers, I believe. Griffon engine, and was very very fast for it's day.

  • Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XIV 10.3 years ago

    Great to hear that @WeeBabySeamus

  • X-15A at 100,000 ft 10.3 years ago

    Thanks @ Dynimerous

  • Conceptual Hi-Altitude Bomber 10.3 years ago

@planelover400 Not really close to a replica; just uses variable wings, that are truly effective at takeoff & in-flight. The tu-160 is a big plane, but thinner. I noticed a lot of conversions of the B-1 body re-painted called the tu-160. This is an original, using modded engines for the altitude sought.
