Thanks @Ctracertx2 -- Agree the launch is tricky due to lag on slower platforms (no problem on my OSX tho)...Glad you took the time to test it. Again, I haven't seen any full-sized "working" Chinook on SP that Carrier-launches.
Say what? It's my old trusty iPhone5-S -- I could top all the mountains, 10,000 feet, fly past East Island with it and power-off ditch at sea. With the iPhone. (This floats). -- @JMicah4
No, I already have a mobile version. Was waiting to see if the large carrier launch would get any attention. I'll post the smaller version soon.... @hypnotoad
Thx, I've yet to see a successful Full-sized Helicopter on SimplePlanes until I posted this. Since most SP users are mobile-based, a challenge comes to mind but might be a bit unfair. (Unless I post my iOS small heli-launch at sea. That would level the playing field). @hypnotoad
Thanks @hypnotoad -- Yeah I'm evil for building the Carrier files entirely on my slow Android. Then I could not download it to same device, gotta use my own desktop. @Ctracerx2 and @Spiritusraptor however can evaluate this using desktops. Sorry this was not phone-friendly!
Okay, I already posted a very simple 337 Skymaster, I know you can build the fuselage with ease, but the engines are a head-scratcher. Good luck! @JMicah4
Made so many small turboprops I've lost count. Some are posted, some not. If you wanted a smaller version of a good SP plane I could do this in the future. Good luck with your ipad builds! @Electra10
Sorry about your ipad experience @Electra10 - impossible to predict what tablets folks use with this game. I downloaded & tested it on my small iphone, it worked fine.
Thx @thelatentimage. - the base plane ia a simple B58 with new powerplants. So far, the wings stay on at hi speed provided I fly it above 90,000 feet; accidently reached 150,000 feet not by intention.
Jaw-dropping detail! The rotating deck guns are extras, but the boat is fantastic!
Thanks @hypnotoad
Thanks @Ctracertx2
Thanks @jacobhardy64
@hypnotoad @Ctracerx2 - Said I had a friendlier sea launch version, here it is.
Good starter plane, well done!
Wow fast, thx @jacobhardy64
Thanks, this version is close to real performance, as well @JMicah4
Thanks @gg1234

Goes turtle with those huge rotors but yes, allows crew escape in water. @JMicah4
Flys very well! Love your custom propellers.

Clarify: full-sized Carrier Launched Chinook. Never been done before. Took a couple days to build and test it, FYI, all.

All: flies fine on my iPhone (mobile-friendly).
Thanks @Austinowen
Thanks @JMichah4
Yeah it works on my iPhone okay, but seems not on all phones.. @JacobHardy64
Thanks @jacobhardy64 - Is this one okay to fly via mobile (it should be)?
You are a good builder!
Good one, yes the mandatory triangular wings, take note @hypnotoad .....

Note: built on Andriod, however Not mobile friendly. Suggest a desktop/laptop platform to download & test.
Gull wings, fast!
@JMicah4 Minor thing, on hi-res takeoff, gear retract bumped loose a fuselage panel. Love those booms, just paint it Cessna red!
Thanks @JMicah4
Thanks @Teus
Thanks @Ctracerx2 You clearly understand the launch procedure!
Thanks for the patience in testing, it was build on my iPad Air but lagged there, also. @JetLaggedEgg
Created via mobile device, is mobile-friendly!

Next, you can easily do the pusher-puller Cessna 337 Skymaster. You'll find 2 props, one with reverse thrust is interesting.
Good simple Cesnna.
Simple flying; neat plane!

Great Piper Cub!
Thanks @austinowen
Yeah my ipad & iphone Are set to medium res. @Electra10
Sorry about your ipad experience @Electra10 - impossible to predict what tablets folks use with this game. I downloaded & tested it on my small iphone, it worked fine.
Thanks @planesnthings
Thanks @planesnthings
I built this entirely on an old ipad FYI, all.
@Electra10 can you delete you initial 1 star? I put you cockpit on it and that's in a separate posting. Thanks in advance.
Give you a new one soon.
Thanks @ZFM99
Thanks @ZFM99

@jacobhardy64 Yes there was an uneeded block in one of the engine nacelles. I deleted some fuel, so this version climbs much faster, enjoy!
