Thx, this is sometimes unstable, a crude build maybe, but will be a surprise to anyone who tests it and expects a classic Space Shuttle dog plane ... @Delphinus
@Delta, WATER LAUNCH QUAD Test of mine; ignore the paint, Uses only throttle, pitch & roll, can carry weapons or passengers and cruise at 9000 feet level between Murphy and Tarpley islands. For your reference. This one is extremely stable in-flight, you could re-suse the control Rotor mechanics with my permission. Keep building! https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/o3IKQ2/Quadcopter-Purple-Commuter-Steam-Powered
@Delta Well, the shape would change if I updated this model much further (the rear rotor would move toward the other main rotors, I'd add a tail boom, etc.) You can leave the model where it, in Test Development, and go back to it later -- I see it as a successful test of yours! About halph the stuff I test on SP is really a test build.
Ik. Also will forward-flip if the rear rotor is increased by a mere 100 Hp -- the balance is tricky here. with this "Shape." A new platform, which includes wings (with lift) as part of the body will allow a project restart using the same rotors, but in a square configuration, maybe. @Delta
I gotta update the pilot instructions! The VTOL slider works, but DO NOT use it on the Mk-11 version, this one is for vertical testing only. What you originally posted "flew with totaled engines" for about 100-200 feet then went loopy. I've flown this Mk-11 vertically fro the Wright/Murphy airport, and descended down to the sea okay. A much longer flight. @Delta
Thanks (IMO I've posted better Quadcopters, and removed several after they only got 1-2 votes. Too much work for near-zero votes, etc., many of my builds remain unposted, FYI @Delphinus)
Any votes help out: @Delta All - this remains a "beta test" even though it now flys VTOL with ease, the in-air handling will be upgraded by Delta next build I hope.
Yeah the VTOL (used for realistic exhausts) is hidden. Yeas,t the exhausts provide all thrust, the props are stock T2000s. Thx for voting! @Stellarcrazyargonaut
Yeah....but this herd busted the fence last year and I had to have a new steel post + barb wire fence built last year. Hard for cardboard pieces to do that..... @MrVaultech
@Pauciloquent Thanks for the clue! I've been unable to successfully apply/compete per AI tournaments on my simple non-Windows devices. No big deal; no Windows for me, no Tournaments. End of story.
Thx @Delphinus. -- Why not rototary armament? A new concept here: this can be aimed independently of the aircraft or boat model.
Thanks, @bjac0
Have built, never posted "floating" models -- they usually crash other SP user's devices.
Thanks, this is the post I'm leaving up @Steadfastcontracting

Thank you @Jasperjl
Thanks for the first plane vote! @lowobservable
Negative; Northrop used to be my rival, many moons ago. @lowobservable
Thanks @SyntaxError
Your model is good (I voted on it), jet-based, heavily armed, quite fast! @SyntaxError
Well balanced build with heavy missiles. A true bridge destroyer!
Thx for testing/voting. I'll look at your model @Syntaxerror
OK will do. Remember, I test stuff.... @SyntaxError
@SyntaxError Technicalities, technicalities - It appear VTOL to the voters who never test it. I still like it, no complaints here!
This was no attempt at VTOL, face it.; but it looks cool! And the trim works efficiently. Fun to fly!
Thanks, @Nickasaurus

@Delphinus Thx! Yes, I certainly push SP physics with this prop model!
@ShatterFox Clearly I ignored a few tournament rules, here, and get creative to push SP aero-physics to it's limit. Fly it and see.
These are extremely powerful propulsion units. I constructed them, the hidden jet engine inside was modded by I don't know who. @ShatterFox

I rent my prime grazing land to someone who owns a hungry herd of cattle. I don't live there, now, I'm in California. @MrVaultech @Nickasaurus

@BRuthless Quantum-Tunneling expertise should be a pre-requisite for any group that develops a "game" as advanced as SP, IMO.
