Thx for the encouragement, but I withdrew my entry. I like my models to fly well, and this is not feasible using the "rules" here. This challenge is for other people. @JovianPat
The default gear icon allows setting activation groups, changing fuel/buoyancy of fuselage parts -- just like clicking on the wing icon allows pitch flap and roll aileron re-sizing. These are not typically called "modding" these are just using the stock editor. They are required to make a decent stock plane. "Modding" in the SP community means XML modded. @JovianPat
If "default size" means you cannot use the standard editor to shape the wings and tails, and all fuselage parts must be 2X2 without standard editor re-shaping, you cannot be serious. I withdraw a planned entry, @JovianPat
Thx! (I pulled apart "rony's" cockpit from your post, deleted the throttle bar, and built the remainder from scratch.) This is the slowest of 2 versions I built, it was the easiest to fly. @KerlonceauxIndustries
Thanks @yoshicraze
Thanks @Johndfg
Sleek!
OK I'll look for one. @AfterShock
Okay, @JovianPat you'll get your wish, I'm entering a 100% defaults menu (no gear or wing icons used, no mods of anything) "mixmaster".
I have balanced power & weight, and this VTOLs quite well, it looks good, so I think you should finish this one!
Funky, creative!
Thanks @ElGatoVolador
Thanks @Djbanana
Simple, elegant, unfinished tail-dragger. I'll take you up on your invite, finish it and add some range.
Yeah, coupling wing position with throttle position was done over 30 years ago on the F14 and Rockwell B1. @EnderWiggin @EnderWiggin
Can I fix this and make it fly?
Creative!
Great build! The fuselage reminds me of design work at Lockheed and the wings remind me of proprietary design work at Boeing.
Thank you, @Flightsonic
Thank you, @Flightsonic
Thank you, @DestinyAviation
Thanks, this one is tricky to fly @KerlonceauxIndustries
Beautiful replica!

Thanks @KerlonceauxIndustries
Too many Concordes posted already; this model is a first since it's a replica of the Rockwell X-30 design. Maybe I will, in time. @ALLSTAR7
Thanks @Djbanana
Fun!

BTW what is a "Gear Icon" in the iPhone or Amazon phone editor? (You must be talking in Windows-speak.)

@JMicah4 I like the classic rotors.

Thank you @ALLSTAR7
Thanks, these are fairly old parts, here @ALLSTAR7
Thanks! @ALLSTAR7
Nice! (The L-1011 remains an excellent Lockheed design to build from.)
Thank you! @Djbanana
