Titan 4 was a major program. Never part of it. I dealt with various gov satellites, and their costs and designs and control rooms. Haven't worked with launch systems in many years. @Planefun
@Planefun Ouch! 1993, a blemish on the GPS record. Fyi, I only directed Lockheed-Martin on how to build the SV, not the launch vehicle....which had a terminal servo actuator problem.
@Planefun congrats on seeing the shuttle and Space X. My only visits to Florida's CCAFS regarded GPS launches on Delta II vehicles, over a decade ago. Business travel.
@Insertname Since I delete dozens of prior posts, including thousands of votes (the moderators tell me to stop doing this) I suggest you follow Delphinus and SpiritusRaptor for quality models. Just a thought.
@Planefun California (Burbank up to 1990, Tehachapi lately, my property in Texas TBD) Sonic boom, in fact, happened only once when the former Space Shuttle landed at Vandenberg. The pilot who flew the SR71 over LosAngeles was polite, subsonic. The airshows at Edwards AFB still allow supersonic fly-overs.
@Insertname You could checkout the dozens of models I've posted over the last 12 months. Some are mediocre some are very unique. Upvote things you like, do not upvote things you do not like like. I think that falls within SP game rules.
@SimpleFlow Comment #2 -- I have collaborated with @Nickasaurus and others and they get IW points. Forget IW points, IMHO, a simple Starbuck's cappuccino beats a single IW point.
Thanks @Planefun Hope you have fun with the minor mods. BTW Camera 1 is not centered correctly. It's, your cockpit, your plane, so maybe you can post a better upgrade.
An iPhone or Nexus Tablet is a mobile device. If you are on a PC computer, that's even better, since it will give you more islands. Again, download something; launch it, then choose "locations" after you launch it.
@Moochicken
@Moochicken Well, it's on my iPhone. You gotta click the lower right arrow after you download something, called "launch" or "load". After your download is launched, you will most likely be on some runway. If you want "Murphy" you can select Murphy from the upper left hand Locations option on the SP screen. My iPhone and Android have the same locations options. I should be able to share my multiple launch points with other SP user's, a footnote I hope @AndrewGarrison reads, but that is noot likely.@Moochicken
Technicalities, lawyer-talk, etc. Agree with you. plan to give you, your cockpit, a 20,000 mph all-stock wings+ all-stock fuel + slightly modded engine for the challenge. Have completed the build, but not the testing, be patient. @EnderWiggin
This link is NOT an entry, I do not wish to inflict the post on the SP community Again. But, you'll get a view of a very old post of mine.

@EnderWiggin
Thx for info. I may do a very simple jet instead, due to the not-modded wings requirement. As per users age, whiskey tango foxtrot? All that shows on my Airplanes page is "1 year old". @EnderWiggin
You must be a relatively new SP user .. a large number of old posts, that I've not deleted yet, all exceed 19,000 mph (earth escape velocity). TBD what new animal I will build. BTW Joe Haldeman's "The Forever War" remains one of my favorites. @EnderWiggin
Thanks @PlanesAndThings -- your C-130 inspired this build, but deconstruct it, and you'll find bizarre mods everywhere, totally new wings+6000 hp engines+fuselage rebuild. Thx for the inspiration!
Daytime, 3:00 PM Pacific Time, the last Burbank touch and go by an operational SR71 circa 1980, which left melted asphalt on runway. History, a "bird" I helped to get built out of titanium. I sleep well, now, the F117 and F22 are much quieter. @FennVectorCWA
OK, this is a copy of something I built on an iPhone 5S. It works only with side engines rotated full forward, and a runway start. Most SP users never tried this simple build.
@Rohan This post flew well on my Mac. Your engine inlets are great!

@Insertname Got it! Since I delete old posts weekly, that is np. Points are not a "biggie" for me, I simply like creative builds. From any SP user.

@Planefun Space X beats SP gaming. Semi-retired Space Launch & Control Project Engineer The Aerospace Corpration (Stingray)
Per request, no upvote. Unfair I launched this beautiful model from Snowstone runway. The rear guns did not defeat Snowstone SAM defenses. Aargh!

Thanks @Insertname I got lucky on this build, it will fly anywhere, land anywhere. Including Prixus Island.

@Moochicken
@Moochicken Tarpley is called "Tarpley Airport" on locations.
@Moochicken Yes Prixus Gold is nearby both Tarpley and Murphy, a trick of SP software.

It's a starting location for all SP devices. Check the "locations" selector (upper left) after to load the model to launch. @Moochicken
This was a very old build, modded jets, but stock wings. Amazing it still can be fun to fly!

I've posted propeller models that exceed your requirements. Sorta unfair for me to enter this, but if I can do a new build for this, I will.
I'll have to test this on one of my prop models; FYI the C-130HC I just posted has my modded 6000 hp engines.
Thanks @RAF1
Thanks @Himynameiswalrus
@JoeAdkinson13 Thx, I think your house may get noisy. I live near Burbank Airport; nearly everything lands here, including 747s and SR71s.
Very well done!

@Kuiper Thx!
The irony is that oldie-custom propellers produce more thrust than the stock menu-drag propeller selections currently on SP menus.
