@dootdootbananabus That's the joke, the 'hook' that makes the name interesting. I have an earlier build called Infinity and this is an elongated version of that.
@MI I started out by making semi-smooth shapes like this one, by manually setting the length, height, and offsets for each fuselage block. That was very inefficient, so I started writing scripts to do it automatically.
@BaconRoll Some shapes certainly work better with this building method, but remember that there's no limitation that you can only use sideways fuselages -- you can use any combination of straight-on and sideways fuselages as on my Fulcrum. Smoothly curved fuselages, wing roots, entire wings, you name it -- pretty much any shape can be built using my method, with the only limitation being the cross-sectional shape of the fuselage sections. I.e., out of the three orthogonal views (top, front, and side), you have complete control over any two you choose. The third one is shaped by the "corner type" setting, so the possibilities are limited.
@SnoWFLakE0s We can set parts to not collide with other parts in the build, but I'm talking about being able to collide with things without blowing up.
@DemonSniper8 That would be so great, if they could be printed with the required smoothness and accuracy. Let me know if you find an outfit that can do it.
@Z3RO It's just fuselage blocks turned sideways, the smooth appearance is because I'm using lots of very thin blocks which lets me create smooth curves.
Nice. It would be good to have some indication of which way is up, though. And you could make it take off vertically so that you can start from the ground.
@Aarons123 I'm going to make one, because someone challenged me to, but beyond that, I'm not really interested in making copies of someone else's designs.
@BaconRoll Ahh I really don't want to go too deep into it, I just thought it up on the spur of the moment as an excuse for the molten/torn metal look. But if you want to take it and develop it, feel free.

@ForeverPie Well, if you'd like to do that, go for it.
If you have a vehicle that flies like a quadcopter and carries a BombCannon, it becomes much easier. Screenshots.

@Treadmill103 Well, you'll have access to my scripts pretty soon, that might help...
@NinjaGamerTR Because in SimplePlanes, you can hide wings and engines inside fuselage blocks and they still work normally.
@GhostHTX Thanks, and you're very welcome.

Yeah it's pretty cool isn't it @BaconRoll
@bjac0 Yes, isn't she?
@temporaryaccount
Thy skill with verse
Would put many a poet to shame
Seriously, dude
That was insane
@BaconRoll Hallowed be thy game.
Thanks, @BaconRoll @sexylips35
Glad you like it, @Pianoman
@DemonSniper8 Well, then, the only advice I can give you is to get a Real Computer.
@DemonSniper8 What are you using it on? I hear iPhones can handle 800-part builds these days.
@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing the whole thing is generated from about 20 numbers.
@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing yeah it's pretty weird isn't it. The other views make up for it, I hope.
@CALVIN232 possibly. Which craft?
@Rodrigo110 Not really, this is about as close as you can get.
@TMach5 "If she looks right, she'll fly right."
@SnoWFLakE0s We can set parts to not collide with other parts in the build, but I'm talking about being able to collide with things without blowing up.
Genius. Now if only SP allowed making parts more resistant or immune to collisions...
@FGW2014 ?
@FGW2014 Yeah, at 185 feet and 100 tons it's very petite.
@FGW2014 It is a wreaker of havoc, a dealer of death, a balefully gleaming engine of destruction. It is not "cute". :)
@BaconRoll Thanks. Lots more where this one came from...
Patience, young @TheTekkit101
@TheTekkit101 You won't have to wait long, the release could be as early as next weekend.
@TheTekkit101 Not at the moment, but I'm in the process of building the UI for my scripts. Once it's finished, I'll upload it somewhere.
@TheTekkit101 I've written scripts to generate smooth shapes for me out of fuselage blocks.
Thanks, @RailfanEthan

@Dylanspin At SledDriver Industries, we 3D print our airplanes, which means no RCS-expanding seams or rivets.
@Stingray Ah, that makes sense. I, too, find it disappointing if a well-made model doesn't fly well.
Glad you like it, @SoulDestroyer9
Thanks, @KSPFSXandSP @tsampoy @BaconRoll

@Tessemi Nothing to be sorry about, but I didn't even know what Star Conflict is before I Googled it.
@FlyingThings I'd need more than 45 upvotes every day for that to happen, so probably not. But I'm not in this for internet points anyway.
@Stingray Thanks. I'm curious though, why the quote marks around fly?
@Aarons123 I'm going to make one, because someone challenged me to, but beyond that, I'm not really interested in making copies of someone else's designs.
@Aarons123 Well, this is not really a replica. I haven't made a true replica yet.
@KSPFSXandSP Zeus etc are a bit overused, and Quaoaoaur just sounds weird to me.
@FGW2014 Cool, what is it?
@BaconRoll Ahh I really don't want to go too deep into it, I just thought it up on the spur of the moment as an excuse for the molten/torn metal look. But if you want to take it and develop it, feel free.
Thank you, @Jetpackturtle
@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing Just in case you're serious, what happens if you take away the "J"?
Oh look, a populist joke. Somewhat funny, but every single innovation in history was created by one man who went against the herd.
