@Phantom1 Nope. It looks like this, so I think a large monitor is pretty much required. You also need to be able to open XML files, so I think this is limited to actual computers and not mobiles/tablets.
@Treadmill103 No, you're right, it does look a little like Casper the friendly ghost. It's meant to evoke a swooping bat, but a ghost is close enough. Just a lazy build to end the weekend with.
Quite good, especially for a beginner. Interesting placement of control surfaces. The iron sight is a nice touch as well. By the way, the tendency to go nose-up can be fixed by changing the wings to symmetric.
@JoshuaW There isn't any external software available for this, as far as I know. I used to do it by hand (and head), but then I wrote scripts to do it for me. You can see the transition where I went from manually-set values to computer-generated ones if you look at my portfolio here.
@dootdootbananabus Thanks. That's why the Space Shuttle is properly classified as a spaceplane, not a spaceship. The Shuttle can't really do much in space except stay in orbit, change its orbit a little, etc. It's like a boat that you can take a few miles out from shore, but not into the deep ocean.
@FGW2014 I've highlighted the relevant block here. Copy and paste that into CloudSettings.xml, in a similar position as you see in the screenshot (before the /CustomLocations closing tag). This will add a location with all the ships lined up in the bay of Wright Island.
To get the custom colors, you'll need Reshade.me. Once you have that installed and configured, you can add my shaders (which I'll upload shortly).
@FGW2014 Here are the contents of my CloudSettings.xml file. You can overwrite your own entirely, or copy and paste just the bits that you want. I'll upload a shader video later.
To line up the ships, just edit the CloudSettings.xml file. If you want mine, let me know and I'll upload it somewhere.
To hide the default green reticle, use a camera instead of the cockpit. The custom reticle is just a beacon light and a fuselage block around it (for the black border) scaled down small.
The orange land (and bright blue sea) are done via Reshade.me, using custom shaders I wrote. The default colour scheme looks very dull to me. This is just one of the colour schemes I have, I might upload a video showing them all if you're interested.
@BaconRoll How about a Warthog?
@Treadmill103 :)
@FGW2014 Well, this one doesn't sting, it only has a plasma cannon...
@FGW2014 I was inspired by your insect series. Do you like it?
@ForeverPie It only looks like an insect...
@ColonelStriker "...with the radar cross-section of a large insect. A very large insect."
@destroyerP It's not based on any actual hornet.
@ColonelStriker F/A-18?
@Treadmill103 Yeah, the standard size's not gonna cut it.
@tylerdeveneuxmusic Thank you. The jealous bit wasn't meant for you, though :)

@BeryllCorp I came up with the shape on my own, and used a program to render it.
Thanks, @Johnnyboy9 @TakicraftCorporation @RailfanEthan
Thanks, @Z3RO @FlyingThings @Phantom1

@FGW2014 Ewe-GEL-us.

Very original, good work.
@Aarons123 Oh, you had your internet access revoked? My sympathies.
Thanks, and don't worry, I don't plan to stop building any time soon. @Blackburn

@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing Yeah. The Spartans were Greeks, fyi. Sparta was one of the Greek city-states.
@Blackburn Yeah, its namesake, at least. Daedalus was one of the concepts thought up for interstellar ships back in the 60s or 70s, I think.

@GhostHTX De nada.
Don't you mean kill the Persians?
@SSSvaSSa That was fast.
Holy horology, Batman, that's impressive as hell.
@BogdanX Why the upvotes? You usually never upvote my builds.
@Razor3278 Yeah, that occurred to me too. It's just a fun build.
Thanks, @Treadmill103
@EternalDarkness It could be a detailed wacky build. And my scripts are close to release, so you can just draw any shape you want.
@EternalDarkness Fair enough. Now I'm thinking of how to get you to build a wacky build yourself... that would be an achievement.
@EternalDarkness How did you happen to upvote a build like this? You sure you're feeling all right?
Glad you like it, @Mumpsy

@jamesPLANESii Its head is tucked into its shoulders, like an actual bird of prey when attacking.

@FGW2014 Yeah, that's my channel, just for SP.

Thanks, @TMach5. Do you mean the plane, the gun, or both?

@dootdootbananabus On the Mig-25/31, the engine housings are straight. This one has them strongly curved. Pretty big difference.
@dootdootbananabus And you'd have to change the shape of the engines, and the nose, and the cockpit, and make the cockpit much larger, and...
@dootdootbananabus Well, ok.
Not bad, but I think your original designs are much better.
