> Understood? (<--- see how rude it is? talking to me like a father would talk to a misbehaving son?)
Well, this is embarrassing. I said "Understood?" to make a point -- see how it feels when someone gives you a peremptory command (as in "Also, update your profile")? I guess I should skip the (not so) subtle hints and explain things very simply in future. To recap, I said "Understood?" as a way to illustrate how it feels when someone orders you about. "To be honest, I can't believe you didn't get the hint." Oh, the irony.
> I said that because I knew that I had made a script. Your response, that nobody has, is completely illogical... how can you tell?
In a sense you are correct: there's no way to tell whether someone has made a script like mine, just as you can't prove a negative. In the real world, however, rational people make allowances for common sense. What would be the point of making such a script if one never used it? Therefore, if there is no evidence of such a script ever having been used, it's a reasonable assumption no such script exists.
> If I said that you weren't the only one, I must have known that for sure, otherwise I wouldn't have said it.
You're assuming that I knew beforehand that you're a perfectly rational person. People make statements that make no sense, all the time. And considering you still haven't produced any evidence of a script like mine, well... you shouldn't have said it.
> And since I'm a modder...
Well, you're a modder who can't do what I do, so I wouldn't make that statement with such overpowering hubris.
@WNP78 Also, who the heck do you think you are to say this: "Also, update your bio." So commanding. Much condescension. Such arrogance. Try it like this: "Also, I think you should update your bio."
@WNP78 The fact that you say I've "blown it up" tells me that your judgment is pretty poor.
One, I am and have been perfectly calm throughout. Read my posts. There's no anger there.
Two, yes, I am the only person to make smooth shapes using scripts. No one else has even come close. If you have any examples to the contrary, I'd love to see them.
@PyrusEnderhunter As I said, it's meant to be an approximation, not a replica. Maybe building extremely detailed cockpits is your thing. It isn't mine.
@Sauce Oh I see, I hurt little @Blue0Bull's feewings so his loser buddies are coming out in force to avenge him. What you think is your business, and I never asked you for your opinion. The quality of your composition matches the quality of your thinking, namely, bullcrap. Bye now.
@TMach5 Thanks, but at SledDriver Industries, pretty much all our aircraft have the same excellent flight characteristics, especially the more recent ones.
@WalrusAircraft The core functionality is more or less there, but the UI needs a great deal of improvement. Right now it's pretty much an interface for programmers only.
Interesting, I didn't realise you could export to .OBJ from SP. Have you 3d-printed anything out yet, and if so, what are the results like?
@KSPFSXandSP It's not enough to simply be peaceful and hope that everyone else will leave you in peace; you need the power to enforce that peace. Si vis pacem, para bellum.
@Irobert55 'Canard' in fact means duck in French as well. From Wikipedia:
The term “canard” arose from the appearance of the Santos-Dumont 14-bis of 1906, which was said to be reminiscent of a duck (canard in French) with its neck stretched out in flight.
Here you go. In future, you can do this very easily on your own, seeing as how you're on a computer and not a tablet/phone. Open the build's file in a text editor, and do a search-and-replace for all instances of viewMode="Orbit" to viewMode="None". That's it.
@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing You're welcome, it's a good build. If you want it to fire scattered shot, you can use my bomb-shotgun subassembly. It fires in a regular grid pattern at the moment, but I could easily modify it to an irregular pattern.
@Patrick20206 if you view CloudSettings.xml, each location has the positions of your vehicle and the seven ships. You can edit the coordinates to place them wherever you like.
@Gravity Yes, no mods, unless you call a shader a mod. I'm using a program called Reshade that lets you apply shaders to more or less any game. You can do a Google image search for "reshade before after" to see what's possible with shaders.
Nice build. To get the engine to turn off when you turn off its activation group, you need to set zeroOnDeactivate to true on its inputController. Unfortunately there's no way to do that on iOS, as far as I know.
@WNP78 Forgot to respond to this bit.
> Again, I just mentioned that you should update your bio. You blew it up into an "arrogant" attack on your personality.
No, you have it completely wrong. My problem isn't that you asked me to update my profile, it's that you said it in an arrogant, commanding way.

No problem, @FGW2014
@PyrusEnderhunter As I said, it's meant to be an approximation, not a replica. Maybe building extremely detailed cockpits is your thing. It isn't mine.
@Blue0Bull Oh look, you removed your upvote. How childish :)
I didn't "attack" your build(s), I merely gave you feedback. What's the matter, can dish it out but can't take it?
> Maybe stop using scripts and try building real aircrafts
Aww, someone's jealous. Bye now.
@Sauce Oh I see, I hurt little @Blue0Bull's feewings so his loser buddies are coming out in force to avenge him. What you think is your business, and I never asked you for your opinion. The quality of your composition matches the quality of your thinking, namely, bullcrap. Bye now.
@PyrusEnderhunter Same thing that's up with the rest of the airplane. It's not meant to be a replica, but an approximation. See also my comment here.
Hello, @Nukelord. What can I do for you?
@TMach5 Thanks, but at SledDriver Industries, pretty much all our aircraft have the same excellent flight characteristics, especially the more recent ones.
Thanks, @Helicopterboy. If you like it, remember to upvote it...
@Ryn176 When someone says "naise" it's usually a reference to the film Borat. What does it mean to you?
@Ryn176 Thanks, Mr. Sagdiyev
Thanks, @ahappyape. How did you come across this old post?
Don't worry, I never forget.
@chancey21 By tubes, you mean cylinders or more complex shapes?
@WalrusAircraft That 3d print looks pretty good, but it has that layered surface texture that all 3d printed stuff seems to have.
All right, I'll keep working on it.
@Pilotmario Thanks. It's the same old style, just a bit more evolved.
@chancey21 Hmm. What kind of shapes would you be looking for in such a parts set?
@WalrusAircraft The core functionality is more or less there, but the UI needs a great deal of improvement. Right now it's pretty much an interface for programmers only.
Interesting, I didn't realise you could export to .OBJ from SP. Have you 3d-printed anything out yet, and if so, what are the results like?
@Kurafutomine OK, removed the tag. Earlier, someone said it was mobile friendly so I added the tag.
@Treadmill103 Thanks, but don't hurt the feelings of my earlier builds...
@Strikefighter04 It's not photo editing, that's how the game actually looks for me. I use a custom shader with Reshade.
@WalrusAircraft Yeah, but with just three or four interested people, it's a lot of work for not much return.
What are you 3D printing, your SP builds?
@KSPFSXandSP It's not enough to simply be peaceful and hope that everyone else will leave you in peace; you need the power to enforce that peace. Si vis pacem, para bellum.
@WalrusAircraft Not yet. I got it to this stage, but so far, very few people have shown an interest in it, so I stopped working on it.
Yeah, but I'm a peace-and-quiet-loving, drama-avoiding kind of guy. @KSPFSXandSP
That depends on the shaders you use. My shaders have a performance impact of less than 0.01 FPS. @Z3RO
@KSPFSXandSP Not at all, just an invitation.
Thanks, @KSPFSXandSP
@Z3RO Right first time, Reshade with a custom shader I wrote.

Glad you like it, @sexylips35
@chancey21 Here you go. Let me know when you've saved it so I can delete it.
Very cool. Did you adjust the rotations on all those fuselage blocks by hand?
@chancey21 Yeah, my mistake. Here's the fixed version.
@BaconRoll Hmm, good catch. It's actually the cockpit that's slightly off-center.
Here you go. In future, you can do this very easily on your own, seeing as how you're on a computer and not a tablet/phone. Open the build's file in a text editor, and do a search-and-replace for all instances of viewMode="Orbit" to viewMode="None". That's it.

@KSPFSXandSP Well, if you want to put custom landing gear on this build (or any other build of mine), feel free.
@KSPFSXandSP /s means that the preceding text was sarcasm, that's all.
So are you asking me to develop this build further? Because I don't work like that, my workflow is somewhat... different. @CALVIN232
Good to know @Rodrigo110
I don't think so, but it should be easy to check @Gravity
@Patrick20206 if you view CloudSettings.xml, each location has the positions of your vehicle and the seven ships. You can edit the coordinates to place them wherever you like.
@KSPFSXandSP I really meant "What, you mean this cute and cuddly thing? /s"
@Gravity Yes, no mods, unless you call a shader a mod. I'm using a program called Reshade that lets you apply shaders to more or less any game. You can do a Google image search for "reshade before after" to see what's possible with shaders.

@CALVIN232 It's pretty similar to my Flashfire, apart from the four intakes vs two.
