    @Tresinator Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from hacc.

  • Timed Dilation 5.5 years ago

    @ChisP Don't you think "how did you do this" would be a more interesting question?

  • Timed Dilation 5.5 years ago

    @AWESOMENESS360 YES

  • Timed Dilation 5.5 years ago

    @MegaFox It's a piece only available if your username is SledDriver :)

  • Timed Dilation 5.5 years ago

    Thanks, @GTAEnterprises

  • Timed Dilation 5.5 years ago

    Thanks, @TMach5 :)

  • Timed Dilation 5.5 years ago

    Thanks, @EliteArsenals24. Yeah, isn't it. I did the same.

  • Timed Dilation 5.5 years ago

    Thanks, @Davidzhang2671

    Thanks, @Treadmill103

  • SR-71 Blackbird v08 5.5 years ago

    @Starfox3206 Sure, expect one soon.

  • SR-71 Blackbird v08 5.5 years ago

    @Starfox3206 "Tank" and "nice" don't really go together :)

  • SR-71 Blackbird Silver Edition 5.5 years ago

    @Tankace1 Well, that's your problem right there :)

  • SR-71 Blackbird Silver Edition 5.5 years ago

    @Tankace1 You mean 10,000 mph? XML modding makes it easy.

  • SR-71 Blackbird v08 5.5 years ago

    @Starfox3206 Good to know. Smart people always make backups :)

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    No need to apologise, @Starfox3206

  • SR-71 Blackbird Silver Edition 5.5 years ago

    @Tankace1 I've never posted my fastest build. It has no top speed, it just keeps accelerating. I've taken it to well over one million mph.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @ChiyomiAnzai Thanks, but I was never really gone :)

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @Simpleplaner1945 @Rub3n213 Thanks.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @Brendorkus This? I thought this was nice and relaxing... I might upload an actual terrifying one some time soon.

  • Speedometer 5000mph 5.5 years ago

    @User1022359808 Not as far as I know. The v input simply tests against your current speed, i.e. v>100 will come on when your groundspeed is over 100 mph.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @Subnerdica Yeah, I thought it best to keep it under 400. I may try higher part counts with future builds.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @DerekSP but I know anyway...

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @TheWeaver @Parehare @Subnerdica Playing around is the key. Just experimenting with stuff with no goal in mind.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    Thanks, @DeathStalker627. The new inputs are pretty cool, for sure.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    Thanks, @FranzPeterSiegfried

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    Nice work, @horatio

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @aircraftarsenal123 Hmm now I have to try that.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @Tums Go for it, I'd love to see that.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @Diloph Math.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @CrashFighter05 Can't say I've had that experience, but thanks for sharing :)

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    Thanks, @CRJ900Pilot

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @VerldVarIII That's so punny.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @KerlonceauxIndustries That's the whole idea :)

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @Skyler717 Well no, it's because new inputs are available.

  • Breathe 5.5 years ago

    @Imashovel This... is... Sparta.

  • T2 5.5 years ago

    @Texasfam04 Well, I hope you got all that sorted out. This script took me about 4 hours if I remember correctly.

  • Terminator arm, piston actuated 5.5 years ago

    @Therocketdudeishere Well, thanks. If you think like that, you'll never get better. Look at my earliest builds, see how basic they are. You'll never know until you try.

    If you really want a better device, and you live in America, there's nothing stopping you from getting one. Used computers can be had very cheaply, often cheaper than a new phone.

  • T2 5.5 years ago

    @Texasfam04 Hey Tex, haven't seen you around in a long time?

  • Alekseyev KM "Caspian Sea Monster" (Ekranoplan) 5.5 years ago

    @ACEPILOT109 Well, you can just use v>100 for the piston input, if you want it to start extending over 100mph. To do it using the trees input is a bit weird: clamp01(TAS - 45). I don't know why it needs to be 45 to activate at around 100 mph.

  • Alekseyev KM "Caspian Sea Monster" (Ekranoplan) 5.5 years ago

    Nice. You could use the new ground speed input for the pistons instead of Throttle, so that it only starts floating above a certain speed.

  • Terminator arm, piston actuated 5.5 years ago

    @Mustang51 Skills can be acquired. Check out Gough Custom Knives' videos on Youtube, he's a guy who makes a great living making high quality knives. It'd be great to have a workshop like that, where you could divide your time between work and hobby projects.

  • Terminator arm, piston actuated 5.5 years ago

    @Mustang51 Well, this project has been in the back of my mind since I was 9...

  • Terminator arm, piston actuated 5.5 years ago

    @Mustang51 CNC machining would be way better than 3D printing for this kind of build. I'm fairly handy in general, yes.

  • Terminator arm, piston actuated 5.5 years ago

    @Mustang51 And the best thing is, I'm designing the whole thing to be mechanically feasible, meaning that it would be possible to replicate this in the real world.

  • Terminator arm, piston actuated 5.5 years ago

    @Mustang51 Thanks. Complete arm coming up next...

  • Terminator arm, piston actuated 5.5 years ago

    @ChisP Yeah, because a metallic sheen really brings out the shape of the build a lot better than a flat finish.

  • Terminator arm, piston actuated 5.5 years ago

    @ChisP I'm not even on Discord, never have been.

    As for screenshots, take a look at these:

    Compare how your build looks in those to the one you posted.

  • Terminator arm, piston actuated 5.5 years ago

    @Treadmill103 That's terminators for you... :)

  • Terminator arm 5.6 years ago

    Thanks, @Zanedavid. They're not that hard, you just need to be precise with the measurements and positioning.
