@AquaDynamixx Hahahaha this is too funny... first, a quick Google search for "methinks thou dost protest too much" would have been educational. Second, check your own grammar ("how about you'd learn"?) before you call out others for their spelling. Third, so now you're saying the quality of a build is measured by the number of parts? Or that my builds are easy because they do more with fewer parts? This gets more and more hilarious with each post of yours.
If I were you I'd really stop embarrassing myself right about now.
@AquaDynamixx You give yourself too much importance entirely... and you're dishonest on top of that. The very fact that you said "super easy upvotes" shows that you're resentful. Then you said "I have nothing against you," when I hadn't accused you of any such thing... methinks thou dost protest too much.
@AquaDynamixx Did you miss the part right after that one where I say "others take up to half a day"? Right indeed. Why don't you try building something in my style and see how easy it is?
You clearly do have something against me. That's fine, you can waste your time with jealousy or whatever. I have better things to do.
@AquaDynamixx "Super easy upvotes"? Let's see. One, these ships are not easy to build -- if you think they are, just try it. Two, these ships don't get many upvotes. Look at my portfolio and count the measly votes "these ships" get. I would get far more upvotes with far less time spent building if I built the kind of planes that do well on this site. Three, I am not building these for the upvotes -- I'm building them because they represent my creative vision. They're unique and beautiful in my eyes, and I don't care if they don't get a single upvote. Fourth and most important, I don't give a damn what you want to see. You want to see something else? Build it.
@Quip After a little experimentation, I don't have high hopes. The rotators are just as wobbly as every other moving gizmo in the game. Why the developers would intentionally cripple their own game like this, I cannot imagine.
@AlexCZ Motors are rocket motors like the X-15. You think 4000 mph is wow, try my Battleaxe II. Make sure to switch to low-sensitivity mode (disable activation group 8). Also, if you like the plane, please upvote.
@RMark1 I only use Fine Tuner for one thing: to select a bunch of parts and move them on and off the base. Everything else is done in Overload or by editing the XML directly.
@F4f879 Thanks, that's probably the first time anyone's commented on the handling of my planes. I spend a lot of time getting it right. Make sure you check out my Flanker as well, it's the best-handling plane I've built yet. Some others are Thor II, Nighthawk, Broadsword II, and Rhino on Rails.
@SlowJet Yes, you need to edit XML directly, or use Overload. Take a fuselage block, with the default dimensions 2 wide, 2 high, and 2 deep (frontScale 2,2, rearScale 2,2, offset 2). You rotate it around the Y-axis by 90 degrees, so one side is facing the front. Now set frontScale to, say, 50,5, and the offset to 1. Now you have the basic building block for this type of build. From there, just play with the values and be creative.
@MrMecha @Ephwurd This was just a simple prototype to see how the aerodynamics work with shapes like this, I'm planning to build something much more complex.
@Ian1231100 @Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing All right, all right. Here you go: black version and blue version.

Sorry I'm causing you so much envy. ;)

@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing Yeah, as soon as I saw that post, I thought "I have to make an aircraft with that name..."
@Maxwell1 Go on, I'm all ears...
@Cylinderpringles @XjayIndustrys Thanks.

@hopotumon I can build something similar. The EDI just doesn't look good to me.
@RailfanEthan @MrMecha thanks for the spotlights, much appreciated.
@TheOwlAce and if the one on the ground launched a bomb as well, it would be a bomb bombing a bomb while being bombed by the same bomb.
Ten thousand thundering typhoons! @RAF1
@SimpleFlow Yeah, lobbing bombs is fun isn't it.... thanks.
@Racrandall No... the Centurion and this one are quite different in shape.
@TTHHSSSS Thanks for your continued support
@GamingGorilla Mobiles can't handle the larger planes, I suppose. Don't worry, I'll soon upload a smaller one that looks even better.
@Quip After a little experimentation, I don't have high hopes. The rotators are just as wobbly as every other moving gizmo in the game. Why the developers would intentionally cripple their own game like this, I cannot imagine.
@Quip Glad to hear you like them. I'll give it a go.

Thanks, @sexylips35
@GoeringsWorkshop Vee haff learned a few things about efficiency since Goering's day...
@Meep261 Thank you.
@RMark1 Overload and Fine Tuner.

@Noahproblem Yeah, I got a little carried away there.
@spefyjerbf My entry.
@MrMecha It actually tops out at a sedate 2000 mph, making it fairly easy to hit targets.
@Othawne Nah, I'm just the Sled Driver.
@hopotumon What's involved in a challenge? Do I just submit my plane and that's it?
Thanks @MethaManAircraft
@GoeringsWorkshop In XML, mostly using Overload, along with a bit of manual XML editing.
@Loopy200 Thanks, though @MrMecha should get credit for urging me to do more of these builds.

@Loopy200 Thanks, I do believe this method of building is original.
Thanks @bang091
@Captain123 I just -
Thanks @jj1902
Thanks @bang091
@MAHADI It's just fuselage blocks turned on their side.
@WNP78 Thanks. Your mod is a great help.
@CCCP Thanks
@AquaDynamixx Blackbirds are my favourite.
@GoeringsWorkshop No, I meant that I'd need to learn Unity to mod the regular menu.
@MrMecha did you say bird-like wings?
@bang091 Just played around with shapes until I got this one.
@omkarp All right, here you go.
@ZephyrSystems OK, I'll see what I can do.
@ZephyrSystems Well thank you. Sure, I don't see why not. Did you have a particular design in mind?
@MrMecha @Ephwurd This was just a simple prototype to see how the aerodynamics work with shapes like this, I'm planning to build something much more complex.
