@Hockeygoalie21 Thanks, but most of my planes are military planes and look best in black and grey, at least I think so. When I come up with something similar to this one, I'll break out the colourful brushes.
@AndrewGarrison I really like the changes overall, but here are a few suggestions:
The flat end of the hemisphere doesn't have a sharp edge; this means that when attaching it to a cylindrical fuselage section it doesn't flow smoothly into it.
The dot at the centre of the artificial horizon is pointless - it's not accurate, and removing it will make the alignment easier to see.
Could you remove/change/add an option to mute the wind noise in cockpit view, it's just really loud and annoying. The same goes for the afterburner noise on most of the engines, it's so loud that I routinely mod my engines to max out at 0.25 -- but then I don't get the afterburner flame. Perhaps a volume setting for all internal airplane sounds?
@KSPFSXandSP OK, since you're into physics, I'll elaborate. The bombs are scaled up (7 x 7 x 7) and have their massScale set to 0.025. The detachers have their detach force set to 15000. The high detach force combined with the low mass launches the bombs at a high velocity. You can play with the values to get bombs that travel in effectively a straight line (see my railgun post), or ones that act like a cannonball, traveling in a parabolic arc.
@NoName101 The hard way... by building lots of high quality planes. My primary goal was never to get upvotes, I just want to build beautiful airplanes -- and there are enough people on this website who appreciate that.
@hopotumon Yes, you just apply a mathematical function to the offsetX, offsetY, and frontScale X and Y values. So far I've only used simple functions, it'll be interesting to see what happens when more complex functions are used.
@hopotumon The shape is just a combination of simpler shapes put together. To generate the individual shapes, I use mathematical functions. The colour scheme is simple, you just need to understand hex color codes and then edit them in the XML, directly. Do some reading about them and if you need more help, just ask me.
@MrMecha Sounds good. I've been playing around with head shapes, I'll come back to you with something in a couple of days.
Blue
Black
@Bluslimeproductions
Basilisk (classical mythology) a serpent (or lizard or dragon) able to kill with its breath or glance.
@SlowJet @recker422
No problem, @KillShot86
@Visify Who knows... and who cares?
@Fjorge Errr... it's compatible with version 1.5 of SimplePlanes. The last one was only compatible with the 1.6 beta.
Thanks, @Pmoose
No problem @BaconRoll
@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing @KillShot86 @BaconRoll No bother at all. Here you go.
@Fjorge What says that? I have no idea what you're talking about...
@BaconRoll @Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing @KillShot86 @Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing If you really want one, I'll create a backwards-compatible version.
@Fjorge Who or what is Adel? Googling didn't help.
@Kerbango Thanks, coming from you that's high praise. To think that it all started because I couldn't stand the ugly, plain look of the wings....
@MrMecha OK, so how do we coordinate work on this? Just upload unlisted planes?
Here you go. @Cplane
Very original, and it flies reasonably well too. Excellent work.
This might be a good time to fix the game's weaknesses (way too small maps, too few targets).
@MrMecha I like it, but the neck looks too weak - how about a thick neck sloping down into powerful shoulders, like the Juggernaut?

@MrMecha Excellent. I'm heading to bed now, but I'll check it out first thing tomorrow morning.
@MrMecha The Northrop XP-79?
@SlowJet I ran out of bird names, so...
@NoName101 Not intentionally, but the resemblance is definitely there.
@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing I'm glad you like it. It's getting there...
@Caesarblack Thanks, that's a great compliment.

@KSPFSXandSP The modded bombs are attached to modded detachers with a high detach force, that's all.
@Thomasj041 @jamesPLANESii Thanks, it's quite easy to do, you just need to understand hex color codes and Unity's RMS values.
@Fjorge I'll do a Bob the Builder model for you if you like, I just won't put him inside one of my planes. Deal?
@Othawne @MAHADI Thanks.
@hopotumon Thanks
@Fjorge No Bob here, sorry...
@Z3RO I hadn't heard of that series. They have some... interesting... plane designs.
@MrMecha Thanks. You take a bit of Warhawk, add some Schwalbe, and out comes something quite... racy.
@hopotumon Yes, you just apply a mathematical function to the offsetX, offsetY, and frontScale X and Y values. So far I've only used simple functions, it'll be interesting to see what happens when more complex functions are used.
@Fjorge ? Not sure what you mean.
@Stormtrooper61 No mod at all. I edited the XML directly.
@Fjorge Sorry, I don't do things like that with my planes... not into cartoony stuff (Tintin rocket notwithstanding).

@Dynimerous @FlyingThings @BaconAircraft @Treadmill103 Thanks for the spotlights, they're much appreciated.
@MrMecha I already did, on a few planes in fact. Tsk tsk Mr Mecha, haven't you been paying attention?
@Visify Thanks, black is still my favourite color, but this was crying out for something more vibrant.
@hopotumon Do you mean the shape or the colour?
@Fjorge Ha ha, I'll pass, thanks.
Thanks @ProvingMars
@Dynimerous @sexylips35 @Treadmill103 @SlowJet @Mumpsy Thanks!
@FlyingThings I don't know... they're just in my head.
@AquaDynamixx Yes my envious little hater, that's incorrect grammar. Would you like me to teach you? LMAO indeed.
