    Not bad, but it has too much drag to be effective as a missile. Whenever I fire it, it rises up above the target and doesn't reach it because it loses speed too quickly. Did you try mounting it on the Shark?

  • Shark 8.5 years ago

    @Fjorge Go ahead - unlisted, listed, I don't care. But if they're to be mounted on this thing they need to have a low part count, not more than 50 at the very most.

  • Shark 8.5 years ago

    @Fjorge That's more like it... shark babies with machineguns mounted on their heads.

  • Shark 8.5 years ago

    @Fjorge No, only actual bombs. Pizza bombs look interesting, though.

  • Shark 8.5 years ago

    @Treadmill103 That's better.

  • Shark 8.5 years ago

    @Treadmill103 When people stop following rules, civilization collapses. Think before you don't [Insert Jaws theme].

  • Shark 8.5 years ago

    @Sparrow007 Protocol must be followed! Don't worry, we're just being silly. Jaws was a very famous movie about a killer shark.

  • Shark 8.5 years ago

    @BrianAircraftsNew @MrMecha @dootdootbananabus @dootdootbananabus You guys.

  • Shark 8.5 years ago

    @Sparrow007 You forgot to [Insert Jaws theme]

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    The first two or three were my favourites. The later ones get very depressing. @pk41382

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @Sparrow007

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    Nearly at 401 now @MrAspy

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    Glad you're enjoying my builds, @GulMorte

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    @GulMorte Sorry to hear that, but only the developers can help you with that.

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    @pk41382 How many roads must a man walk down? 42.

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @Potkuri

  • Ship of Sine 8.5 years ago

    @Wahoo12 No, I mean inverse sine.

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    @ShockRF Oh, I see now. No, don't delete it. It's absolutely correct - this is definitely not a penis.

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    @ShockRF Thanks, but... not a penis?

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    @MrMecha Sounds good.

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    Are you working on something at the moment? How about the Burya? @MrMecha

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    @MrMecha Tired of SimplePlanes?

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    @Treadmill103 Thanks, it's quite mesmerizing isn't it?

  • Heart of Gold 8.5 years ago

    @MrMecha Well, they're not going anywhere. I did wonder where you were. Work? Study?

  • Ship of Sine 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @bang091

  • Hawkeye 8.5 years ago

    @bang091 Sure, but I'm not really interested in land vehicles in SimplePlanes at this point because they don't work very well.

  • Prowler 8.5 years ago

    @ChaMikey I was wondering who'd be the first to comment on that.

  • Sentinel III 8.5 years ago

    @Cylinderpringles My earlier builds weren't smooth either. Look forward to seeing your build.

  • Ghost 8.5 years ago

    Great build. It looks even better with a metallic, shiny-matte paint.

  • Sentinel III 8.5 years ago

    @Maxwell1 It's all due to SledDriver Industries' proprietary construction techniques.

  • Mystery Tournament 8.5 years ago

    I have a bunch of fast, maneuverable planes, but it seems the AI can't handle fast airplanes, at least not on the default race courses. It's crashed every single fast plane I've tried it with, not just my own, but others' builds as well. So... how fast is "fast," and will the course be twisty and turny like the others?

  • Ship of Sine 8.5 years ago

    @Wahoo12 Nope, then it's the inverse sine.

  • Sentinel III 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @Cylinderpringles

  • Mammoth Wave 8.5 years ago

    @XxGunner317xX Not very long, I don't build them piece by piece, I generate the entire shape in one go. The time goes into writing the code to do it.

  • Ship of Sine 8.5 years ago

    @DragonAerotech I don't add landing gear unless the plane won't take off without it (as on Raider II), because it ruins the screenshots - the gears available are too ugly, and the game doesn't provide an option to retract them for screenshot mode.

    Silencing engines is very easy. You'll need to either edit the XML directly in a code editor, or use Overload XML.

    If using Overload XML: Click on an engine, and under InputController set max to 0.25. Now under Engine, set powerMultiplier to 4. This will give you an engine with the same power as an unmodded engine, but quieter. To increase the power, just increase the powerMultiplier. For instance, if you need a silent engine with power 30, set max to 0.25 and powerMultiplier to 120.

    If editing the XML directly, just set the above attributes in the code.

  • T-50 PAK FA 8.5 years ago

    @marcox43 I'd say always go for something original, rather than remakes or even replicas.

  • Ship of Sine 8.5 years ago

    @BrianAircraftsNew It reminds me of the moustache of the Bard, from Asterix.

  • Ship of Sine 8.5 years ago

    Cut the smartassery or I'll tan your hide, @BaconRoll :)

  • Ship of Sine 8.5 years ago

    Thanks, @Treadmill103 and @Sharkie

  • Ship of Sine 8.5 years ago

    @Shmexysmpilot :) Now I'm going to wait for you to figure out that 'Ship of Sine' is a play on 'Ship of sin.'

  • Quad Punk 8.5 years ago

    @Stingray Yeah, jets are the way to go.

  • Quad Punk 8.5 years ago

    @Stingray By "won't go VTOL" you mean it won't rise? When the thrust equals the mass, that means it'll stay in place. To make it rise or fall you have to have additional thrusters/props that you only engage when you want to change altitude.

  • Raider II 8.5 years ago

    @TheBroadside At 1x scale, no, they can be seen easily. But drag a Boom 50 on to your tank, see how big a barrel to fire that would be.

  • Raider II 8.5 years ago

    @TheBroadside I can make it, but if the bombs are too small they won't be visible when fired.

  • Raider II 8.5 years ago

    @Shmexysmpilot Do you enjoy flying it in the sun as much as I do?

  • Mammoth Wave 8.5 years ago

    @ThatTotalRando Thanks.

  • Quad Punk 8.5 years ago

    You can make the thrust of your upward lifting engines equal to the mass of the aircraft, which will give it stable hover (not rising all the time). Then add two small thrusters/props to enable moving up and down.

  • Kestrel 8.5 years ago

    @DEATH2REVIVE The Kestrel is a small falcon, that's where I got the name.

  • Fire Arrow 8.5 years ago

    Glad you like it, @Haydencal
