    Thanks, @Tully2001, I appreciate it.

    Thanks, @Texasfam04. If only real life were scriptable...

    @chancey21 You're probably better off asking the script author to do that. I have to leave for work now (it's morning in Australia), but when I get back I'll take a look at it and get back to you.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @chancey21 And if you look closely, many of my aircraft are inspired by the Blackbird: long, pointy fuselage with chines, wings placed way back, and two massive wing-mounted engines.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @chancey21 Not the paint scheme, blacks and greys and metallic finishes have always been my favourites. When it comes to hardware, whether it's computers, guns, cars or airplanes, I only want it in black or dark shades of grey. As for finishes, it has to be a combination of matte-metallic, and various degrees of polishing, from bead-blasted to a mirror finish.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @chancey21 I've loved the SR-71 since I was a kid. Its pilots used to call it the Sled, because it was pretty much only good (although very, very good indeed) at one thing: flying very fast in a very straight line. The pilots called themselves Sled Drivers, and it was one of my childhood dreams to be one, so...

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @chancey21 Ahh, I really appreciate the support, but let it go. Don't give any of those people an excuse to keep commenting on my posts.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @chancey21 No, why would I block you?

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @BaconRoll Oh, that. That's exactly why I made the script, because it's a complete waste of time trying to reason with unreasonable people. To put it a few different ways:

    • You can't reason someone out of a position that they didn't reason themselves into in the first place.
    • The reason I don't want to talk to those people is the same reason I don't talk to people who believe the Earth is flat.
    • It's a waste of time trying to act in good faith towards people who are acting in bad faith.

    Don't be upset. The world is full of unreasonable people. The only thing you can do is block them out of your life so they can't drain your precious time and suck all the joy out of your life. This is exactly why any major social website offers a setting to only see messages/posts from people you're following or have approved to send you messages. I actually thought of offering the developers money to implement that feature, but then I realised it's quicker to just write a script.

    Upvote for tandem-wing configuration.

  • Ten Ver1.0 7.3 years ago

    Unique and hilarious. Nice work.

  • Brute 7.3 years ago

    @Tully2001 Well, maybe that's how you're reading it, but I can explicitly tell you I was explicitly not asking for upvotes. I was just asking him why he wouldn't upvote something if he thinks it's "amazing," that's all. Try not to read something into my comments that isn't there.

  • Brute 7.3 years ago

    @Tully2001 Yes, that's exactly what I'm telling you. Is English not your first language, by any chance? No offence intended.

  • Brute 7.3 years ago

    @Tully2001 But I did:

    Yeah, and the reason you didn't know I exist is because this website is full of people like you, who don't upvote good builds.

    (Emphasis mine.) I didn't say "upvote my build(s)," I suggested/urged that people should upvote good builds.

    Also:

    Damned right this deserves upvotes, but I don't want yours.

    Isn't that the opposite of demanding upvotes?

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @Awsomur Glad you think so. I'm a reasonable man :)

  • Brute 7.3 years ago

    @Tully2001 Well, the rules say that you're not allowed to demand upvotes. I would always suggest that people upvote all good builds, not just mine.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @BaconRoll You're welcome. Concerned how?

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @Awsomur Thanks. There's always a lot more I would like to have done with any build of mine, but part count is the limiting factor. I want to keep my builds playable.

  • Brute 7.3 years ago

    @Tully2001 How is that breaking the rules? I'm not demanding or even asking for upvotes.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @AdlerSteiner I'm keeping my whitelist private, for obvious reasons.

  • Raptor Redux 7.3 years ago

    Yeah, there's a resemblance, I suppose, though the nose is more like the F-22. @Mordex

  • Schwalbe II 7.3 years ago

    Thanks again, @Mordex

  • Lanius 7.3 years ago

    Thanks, @Mordex

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    Thanks, @ChristianFennell

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @ChristianFennell Ahh, just don't engage. Life's too short.

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @Tully2001 All good then. Thanks for your help.

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @Tully2001 Really? So comments asking me how many ribs I've removed so I can auto-fellate aren't against site rules?

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @Tully2001 Is something going on? What's going on? I'm posting builds as usual, blocking people I don't want to hear from as usual.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @KSPFSXandSP

    And I am gratified to hear that I am "a long-time supporter and not rude or obnoxious".

    Why, didn't you know that already? That's not my opinion, it's fact :) You've upvoted plenty of my builds, which means that you respond to good things with positivity instead of jealousy and resentment. And while we've disagreed in the past, you've never been rude or obnoxious.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @KSPFSXandSP

    some people write things for others that they don't want themselves.

    Well, why would they do that? This idea that every opinion is valuable needs to die. Opinions that are intelligent and founded in good faith are valuable. Opinions like "You're a cheater lol how much effort does it take to write scripts lol" are less than worthless, as are the people who hold them.

    I, too, love diversity in opinion, but again, only when it comes to opinions worthy of respect.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @KSPFSXandSP Err, I'm the person I wrote it for, why wouldn't I be using it? As to whether you're blocked, obviously not. Note that it's not a blacklist where I block selected people -- it's a whitelist where everyone is blocked by default, and I have to explicitly add people whose comments I want to see. Everyone who's been a long-time supporter and not rude or obnoxious is whitelisted.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    Thanks, @Mustang51. It was sorely needed :) I can finally view my posts without that feeling of apprehension you get when you're walking down a dark tunnel and wondering whether you'll step in something nasty.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @PorkyClown3 Exactly -- these people think -- and have actually said -- things like "how much effort is it to code a script?" Well, if it's that easy, why can't they do it?

    Note that I originally intended to make my scripts public. It was only after all the insults, mockery and drama that I went "Hey, why should I help these people?" I'd love to help my long-time supporters, but there's no way to do that without also helping the haters, so...

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    Thanks, @PorkyClown3. As to why some people have a problem, I think it's pretty obviously plain old jealousy.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    Thanks, @Alpha029, my aim has always been to create builds that people can have fun with, not to compete with anyone.

  • SCRIPT RELEASE 7.3 years ago

    @Alpha029 Yeah, 400 seems to be the magic number for a lot of devices. Can you run this one? It's only 375 parts.

    Some other builds of mine that have a low part count and are a lot of fun:

  • Pugnacius 7.3 years ago

    @Mustang51 If you don't mind, I'd prefer to remain an international man of mystery :) Just because I'm extremely skeptical of releasing personal info online, not because I don't trust you. If we ever switch to a private communication forum like email or something, I'll be happy to tell you.

  • Tintin's Rocket 7.3 years ago

    @Mustang51 Of course. If you look at this page, all the builds prior to Metabomber were made by hand. I'm actually a little embarrassed that I didn't get off my butt and start writing scripts sooner. I guess I'm just lazy :)

  • Pugnacius 7.3 years ago

    @Mustang51 I just live here. The water is drinkable and the electricity works, it's not bad at all :) It has its share of idiots and the dominant culture is something shocking, but if you can stay away from those people/things it's quite nice.

    You sound much more mature than 19, congratulations :)

  • Pugnacius 7.3 years ago

    @Mustang51 Well, I'm mid-30s. How about you?

  • Tintin's Rocket 7.3 years ago

    @Mustang51 Well, I'm glad I could do that for you. Thanks for looking through my earlier posts :)

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @Alpha029 Absolutely. There's something I have to do first, but I'll get around to downloading your build soon.

  • Pugnacius 7.3 years ago

    @Mustang51 What they don't understand is how much enjoyment I get out of getting a rise out of them without even trying. There they are, all together, trying to get a rise out of me, trying to engage with me, and I just don't care... meanwhile, here I am, just doing what I do, not thinking about them at all, and still managing to keep their feathers perpetually ruffled. Feels good to be me :)

    I live in Australia. As for age, does it matter?

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @Alpha029 Don't worry, it's not that easy for someone who's not already familiar with web stuff. To recap, what you should have used is this:

    [Here is my build Claymore](https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/F6YQs3/Photon-industries-VF-81-Claymore).

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @Alpha029 Er, I think I didn't explain properly. You replace whatever text you like with what you want the text of the link to be, and the https://website.com/page/ with the actual link. But don't worry for now, I copied and pasted the link.

  • Pugnacius 7.3 years ago

    @Mustang51 That's your average classy individual showing his class :) It refers to a rumor popular among the less educated that certain celebrities had their ribs removed so they could, ah, perform fellatio on themselves. You see the kind of imagination a certain class of people have :)

  • Pugnacius 7.3 years ago

    @Mustang51 Exactly :) Man, I love my life. I cause losers to throw tantrums without even trying, everywhere I go :) One particularly smart individual was in such a huff yesterday that he went through all my posts, removing all his upvotes... except he was so blinded by rage that he upvoted the builds he hadn't already upvoted hahahaha. Can you imagine him opening post after post, too angry to even note whether the button says "Upvote" or "Remove upvote"? Hahahahahahaa......

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @TheMutePaper What will it take for you geniuses to understand just how much contempt I have for you and your opinions? blocked

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @Alpha029 Just copy this text:

    [Whatever text you like](https://website.com/page)

    and replace the text and link with whatever you want.

  • Ferocius 7.3 years ago

    @bjac0 Here comes groupie-boy again. I'm simply not interested :) blocked
