@Chancey21 That's probably not even possible...

  • Moray 7.2 years ago

    Thanks, @BaconRoll

  • Marauder II 7.2 years ago

@Treadmill103 Look forward to it, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait if it does happen.

  • Moray 7.2 years ago

Thanks, @EternalDarkness. But... it has no cockpit or intakes :)

  • Moray 7.2 years ago

    Thanks, @ChristianFennell

  • Sentinel 7.2 years ago

    Thanks, @RaendyLeBeau

  • Curvaceus 7.2 years ago

@Mattangi OK, I'll see what I can do.

  • Beriyev Be-103 (W.I.P.) 7.2 years ago

@Sgtk OK, then look at the original and see how it sits in the water -- significantly nose-up. You need that if you want the engines to push it out of the water instead of the opposite.

  • Beriyev Be-103 (W.I.P.) 7.2 years ago

Well, the configuration of this thing is all wrong for a seaplane. The wings need to be high up on the fuselage, for one thing, but that's not what's keeping this thing from taking off. When the engines are high and to the rear like this, they apply a torque that rotates the nose downwards. You want the opposite. Bring the engines to the front, and angle them so that the rear is pointing downwards slightly. You can do this either by rotating the engines themselves (which will give the airplane a nose up tendency in flight), or by attaching floats to the body that are slightly angled/tapered, so that the entire body is pointed upwards.

  • Marauder II 7.2 years ago

@Treadmill103 Any more stories with her coming up?

  • Marauder II 7.2 years ago

Thanks, @BaconRoll. This was a request, actually (by @smaug).

  • Marauder II 7.2 years ago

    Thanks, @Alpha029 @bang091

  • Marauder II 7.2 years ago

    Thanks, @sexylips35 and @CRJ900Pilot

  • Harpoon II 7.2 years ago

    You're welcome, @smaug

  • Harpoon II 7.2 years ago

@smaug That doesn't really look like a torpedo-carrying airplane, but here you go.

  • Curvaceus 7.2 years ago

@Mattangi Yeah, I can make something like that, as long as you're not expecting an exact replica.

  • E.F.G.F. Type 74 Hover Truck Ver1.0 7.2 years ago

    @Pianoman Sure thing, it's a nice build.

    +1
  • Harpoon II 7.2 years ago

@smaug I can mount torpedos on any of my builds, which one would you like?

  • SR-71 Blackbird v02 7.2 years ago

Thanks, @smaug. Sorry about your device. Hopefully you can get a better one soon.

  • Long-range mortar 7.2 years ago

    Thanks, @smaug

  • Stiletto-X 7.2 years ago

Thanks, @smaug. How many parts can your device handle? This thing's successor has 635 parts.

  • Curvaceus 7.2 years ago

@Alpha029 Glad to hear that. This should also work well, seeing as how it has even fewer parts.

  • Curvaceus 7.2 years ago

@breitling Tiny along one axis, yes.

  • Curvaceus 7.2 years ago

Why, thank you, @Alpha029, that's very gratifying.

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

@Maxwell1 That was a great movie.

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

    @BroWassup True

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

    Thanks, @Mostly

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

@BaconRoll mmm the jealousy of my enemies is the sweetest nectar :)

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

@Freerider2142 thanks. Haven't seen that movie, but I looked it up and it sounds interesting.

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

Thanks, @Z3RO, I think you might be the only other person I know to get my shaders to work. I'm glad you like them.

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

@bang091 Depends on whom you ask. If you ask me, I did it using human ingenuity... if you ask some others, I did it by (all together now) cheeeeeeeeating!

  • Orka 7.3 years ago

Descriptions are overrated. Save your creativity for your actual builds themselves, I'd say.

  • Handley Page HP.115 7.3 years ago

@Sgtk You're welcome. Thanks for making me aware of this aircraft. Those aviation pioneers came up with some crazy designs in those days.

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

Thanks, @Treadmill103. The airplane's AI called to say you're making it blush...

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

@Texasfam04 Mm, I love me some well-placed curves.

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

    @CRJ900Pilot Thanks!

  • Curvaceus 7.3 years ago

    @FlyingThings Shiny... flying thing.

  • Target drone 7.3 years ago

@YangzhouAvionic Not sure what you mean. This does have bombs and they can be dropped the usual way.

  • Target drone 7.3 years ago

    Thanks, @CRJ900Pilot

  • Target drone 7.3 years ago

    Thanks, @Messmaker

  • Target drone 7.3 years ago

    Thanks, @Treadmill103. I could hardly go wrong with a 5-part blended-wing design... :)

  • Target drone 7.3 years ago

    Thanks, @YangzhouAvionic

  • Target drone 7.3 years ago

    Nice work, @Bearclaw189

  • TR-3 Black Manta 7.3 years ago

@RacingRichard well, i agree that aliens have never visited earth.

  • GT Motors Troop Transport 7.3 years ago

@bang091 not bad. Suggestions: 1) use a lighter designer background to provide contrast. 2) add fenders around the wheels, more armor and more features in general. 3) use a more eye catching paint scheme. Something metallic would be good, and use contrasting shades.

  • Sparrowhawk 7.3 years ago

    Thank you, @bang091

  • Sparrowhawk 7.3 years ago

Thanks, @Alpha029. Can't go wrong with classic design principles :)

  • Sparrowhawk 7.3 years ago

Thanks, @BaconRoll, I try to think of our potato-wielding brethren once in a while :)
