@Toxicgirl sorting wing profiles is pretty easy once you get used to it, don't worry. It definitely makes your planes nicer to fly if they're well balanced
I'd like to see something like this too. Alternatively, make the Interceptor missiles IR-guided, so that they only work properly if a jet exhaust is visible to them. This would force you to get behind your opponent to use them, and they could be defeated if the target manages to cool their engines on time
@Happyjr this would also explain why you had trouble with the smoke trails one. LocalLow is a hidden folder, you'll need to make hidden folders visible to access it. This is because it contains quite a lot of stuff that normally you wouldn't want to edit, so make sure you don't touch anything you don't understand
@danishhaziq no worries dude, it's brilliant. I made a buggy out of two of them stuck together just to test, it worked excellently. You should make a car from it!
@Halfstrike ohh, I see haha. I think there was something like that involved in the infinite fuel tank, but I don't really know, it's not something I would normally use
@Moonlight normally, if you download a plane and then upload it with changes, it will do the successor system automatically. Uploading unlisted version does seem to break this, though. It's okay, though, you've done right thing by leaving a link in the description of your version, so there's no need to worry about it
@dsr1aviation so it's downloading fine, you're getting it in to your mods folder, and then nothing is happening? Can you enable it, or does it not show up in the menu at all?
Noman0rumeral is right, but in situations where it doesn't work, leaving a link in the description like you did is the right thing to do. Clickable links don't work in the description, but they do in comments, so you can leave one there if you want. If you use this:
@Noman0rumeral have you downloaded it? If you're using the google drive app, you need to hit the little i button in the corner of the files, rather than the files itself
@RocketLL I'd love to (try and) help, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. Best of luck with it, though, I'm sure a lot of people would like to see it
@Halfstrike no worries, it would be great to get more people involved. We're doing our best to learn what we can, but it's not easy with minimal documentation and (in the case of Mod and I) no experience haha
@Halfstrike I'm getting by with literally zero C# knowledge, so you'd probably do alright, actually. I haven't tried adding anything like this yet, but I was interested in doing a dogfight level with more options available
@dsr1aviation I don't think the designer worried too much about how it would work either, he apparently thinks that a wind turbine on the back of a plane is a good idea hahahaha. Very unique concept, though.
@dsr1aviation well that's the fun of it, isn't it? :D I've got some practice with flying a plane on rotator control, and I've made a couple of working parasite fighters.
@dsr1aviation @HakkeAirTech if we're feeling incredibly ambitious, maybe the Lockheed CL-1201? Someone would have to design a fighter that works entirely with rotators instead of control surfaces
@Sirstupid @Halfstrike in fairness, while modding doesn't strictly require coding, most of what you would do for SP would. Halfstrike, are C# or java amongst the languages you're good with?
@AeroDemon I would rather like to do that, but unfortunately the way I've done the canopy makes it impossible. Because it's made of several fuselage sections, if I moved the cockpit back far enough to get an interior in there, you wouldn't be able to see forwards. Hopefully on my next major build, though!

Wrong account mate
@Jackie @Kimo @Sergo585 @DarkLithium @TheLatentImage @AeroEngineering @Z810 @Halfstrike @AerostyleAviation @AnarchistAerospaceIndustries @laSoul @hadesrocksz thanks for the votes everyone

If you're on Windows 10, go to the View tab and click the checkbox for Hidden Items
@danishhaziq hmm... well I feel like some kind of open-wheeled racer is best, to show off the mechanism
@TheHardcoreFlyer open the game, go to the "mods" button in the menu, select the mod, then press "enable"
@TheHardcoreFlyer well I dunno how your specific app works, but is there not an option for "move" or "copy"?
@Lucasmah that sucks :( well it'll still be available when you get back
@Happyjr this would also explain why you had trouble with the smoke trails one. LocalLow is a hidden folder, you'll need to make hidden folders visible to access it. @danishhaziq no worries dude, it's brilliant. I made a buggy out of two of them stuck together just to test, it worked excellently. You should make a car from it!
@Medron well if I find myself with some free time, I'll look in to it
@Halfstrike ohh, I see haha. I think there was something like that involved in the infinite fuel tank, but I don't really know, it's not something I would normally use
@Medron ahh, like a smoke bomb sort of thing?
@Halfstrike I don't actually know. What is it/what does it do? Most of my changes were cosmetic
This is awesome, I'm really impressed that it actually flies
@Medron you mean like the bomb leaving a smoke trail as it goes down? Because you can do that
@dsr1aviation sweet, I'm glad it's working, and thanks for letting us know
@Moonlight normally, if you download a plane and then upload it with changes, it will do the successor system automatically. Uploading unlisted version does seem to break this, though. @Stingray @Nickasaurus here it is!
@dsr1aviation it's working at my end, I've just tested it. If I work out what's going on, I'll get back to you
Link to Stingray's version
@dsr1aviation well that's not right. Try this link instead, see if it works better
@dsr1aviation can you give me the file path that you've got the mod in?
@dsr1aviation so it's downloading fine, you're getting it in to your mods folder, and then nothing is happening? Can you enable it, or does it not show up in the menu at all?
@dsr1aviation oh sorry dude, I didn't realise you were waiting on this! But yes, there was no danger of you not seeing it hahaha
@Noman0rumeral that's irritating :/ so you can't download it at all? Can you give me a screenshot of what happens when you try?
@Noman0rumeral did you manage to get it sorted?
Noman0rumeral is right, but in situations where it doesn't work, leaving a link in the description like you did is the right thing to do. Clickable links don't work in the description, but they do in comments, so you can leave one there if you want. If you use this:
It will show up as: Predecessor
Maybe tag the original creator too, so that they can see
@Noman0rumeral have you downloaded it? If you're using the google drive app, you need to hit the little i button in the corner of the files, rather than the files itself
@Theflyingauzzie RGR?
@Halfstrike meteorology? Why is the weather involved?
@Halfstrike man I wish I could do all this stuff hahaha
@Halfstrike I can imagine that being a really good-looking plane, actually. Cool plan, and good luck with it!
@RocketLL I'd love to (try and) help, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. Best of luck with it, though, I'm sure a lot of people would like to see it
@Halfstrike the one with the Vampire intakes?
@Halfstrike nice! Any pictures I can see? I love RC planes, but I don't have the time or money to get started in them just now. One day...
@Halfstrike cool, well give either me or Mod a shout when you get it if you would like to get involved
@Halfstrike no worries, it would be great to get more people involved. We're doing our best to learn what we can, but it's not easy with minimal documentation and (in the case of Mod and I) no experience haha
Now to tag people who wanted to know: @theLatentImage @Lucasmah @BenAtennyson @MaleticAirplanes @TilliDie @Mod
@Halfstrike I'm getting by with literally zero C# knowledge, so you'd probably do alright, actually. I haven't tried adding anything like this yet, but I was interested in doing a dogfight level with more options available

@Rohan when was I talking about a plane?
@dsr1aviation @swat132 ahh yeah, cool!
@dsr1aviation well that's the fun of it, isn't it? :D I've got some practice with flying a plane on rotator control, and I've made a couple of working parasite fighters.
@swat132 whaddup
@dsr1aviation @HakkeAirTech if we're feeling incredibly ambitious, maybe the Lockheed CL-1201? Someone would have to design a fighter that works entirely with rotators instead of control surfaces

@NovaTopaz ahh well, what's done is done. Quite a few challenges from that month wound up slipping through the cracks, I think.
I'm trying to do the Cariburn, but the nose is really tricky. I've got an idea or two in store, though.
Some of the function keys already have jobs. F9 toggles the UI, and F10 is also important
