Question about the link on author

0 Moonlight  9.4 years ago

When I do remake his plane, where can I add the link on him (not in description) ? I mean: Predecessor

@Moonlight normally, if you download a plane and then upload it with changes, it will do the successor system automatically. Uploading unlisted version does seem to break this, though. It's okay, though, you've done right thing by leaving a link in the description of your version, so there's no need to worry about it

@Skua it's I have to do in description, or when I share, using this command? I of course, had, and deleted 'unlisted' version. But in this I can't see original author. So I did it just in description like here https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/3yCQwO/R-313-B03-Drakontos-by-Delphinus-MK-II

Noman0rumeral is right, but in situations where it doesn't work, leaving a link in the description like you did is the right thing to do. Clickable links don't work in the description, but they do in comments, so you can leave one there if you want. If you use this:

    [Predecessor](https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/qQjKv1/R-313-B03-by-Drakontos-edited-by-thgamer2013)

It will show up as: Predecessor

Maybe tag the original creator too, so that they can see

It should just happen by itself, just make sure you don't upload an unlisted version
