@DeezDucks I think the IDF colour scheme is pretty nice, and it would be a bit different from the many, many Mustangs already on the site, but there's no point in you doing something you aren't interested in
@Noman0rumeral no worries, I'm glad to be contributing. It's nice to see that people are using it to share their builds, too, I was worried it was just gonna result in a load of spam
C:\Users[you]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns, remembering that LocalLow is a hidden folder. Also, @DeezDucks I was having that problem with fuselage sections that were rotated after being attached end-to-end, is that the same as what happened to you?
@Pauciloquent but yeah I had this specifically in mind when I was working on the smoke trails, I'm really excited for the multiplayer mod. It still has a lot to be done, though, so patience will have to do for now
@JetstreamAeronauticalEngineering @AgDynamics I don't wanna give too much away, but all I'll say is that I've got a totally new build and 1:10 will not be fast enough for you ;)
@DeezDucks I don't have a huge amount of practice with props, but you need a combination of rpm and power. Also props are limited so as to not be able to go supersonic without extreme circumstances
@JetstreamAeronauticalEngineering how about we each make a modded and unmodded version anyway, just in case? Whichever one he doesn't fly, we can test separately
@JetstreamAeronauticalEngineering mine didn't have any last time and it would have been the quickest if only I had made it a little more AI friendly hahaha. Maybe we should get an opinion from @AndrewGarrison beforehand?
@Jetspeed1001 oh, right. If you hold down on the image, it brings up a menu, right? is one of the options something like "open image in new tab" or "copy image link"?
@AwesomeBoeingMaster788 it needs to be an actual image URL. If you're using google to get it, click the "view image" button so that it takes you to a page with just the image and absolutely nothing else
Skua SimplePlanes, but there's not much there yet. I'll get the videos edited tonight and let you know when they're up! It's the WWII fighter contest that TomServo was supposed to hold before he disappeared
@bullman518 it was a mod, rather than a plane. As far as I know there's only a Windows version so far, but if I get a chance to talk to him later I'll see if he can do an Android version
@AeroAvionics23 nice, that should work fine!
@DeezDucks I think the IDF colour scheme is pretty nice, and it would be a bit different from the many, many Mustangs already on the site, but there's no point in you doing something you aren't interested in
Looking good. How's the yaw stability with the tail flattened out?
@hadesrocksz heh, that's pretty cool. Not quite what I meant, though - the Triebflugel's wings have a sort of fixed spiral shape to them
@DeezDucks ahh, I've never tried xml'ing that stuff, sorry dude
Wait, you mean like posting images in the forums? Because that works fine no matter what system you're on
@DeezDucks nah, that shouldn't matter. What were you doing to them?
@Noman0rumeral no worries, I'm glad to be contributing. It's nice to see that people are using it to share their builds, too, I was worried it was just gonna result in a load of spam
C:\Users[you]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns, remembering that LocalLow is a hidden folder. Also, @DeezDucks I was having that problem with fuselage sections that were rotated after being attached end-to-end, is that the same as what happened to you?
Are we to post submissions here or will there be a separate forum post?
@hadesrocksz got a link? I'm not sure which one I'm meant to look at
@Meawk Unity messed your computer up? What happened?
I've actually got one in (very slow) progress, I figured out how to do the twisted wings
@Pauciloquent but yeah I had this specifically in mind when I was working on the smoke trails, I'm really excited for the multiplayer mod. It still has a lot to be done, though, so patience will have to do for now
@Pauciloquent well since it's the Red Arrows, nine might be most appropriate :D
@JetstreamAeronauticalEngineering modded, the unmodded one will indeed be an updated Reiver
@JetstreamAeronauticalEngineering @AgDynamics I don't wanna give too much away, but all I'll say is that I've got a totally new build and 1:10 will not be fast enough for you ;)
@DeezDucks well done! :D
@AnarchistAerospaceIndustries I recognised the paint scheme
@AnarchistAerospaceIndustries am I not allowed to take part or something? Hahaha
@AnarchistAerospaceIndustries 6th one is a Chengdu J-10
@DeezDucks I don't have a huge amount of practice with props, but you need a combination of rpm and power. Also props are limited so as to not be able to go supersonic without extreme circumstances
@JetstreamAeronauticalEngineering sweet, I'm making something new for the modded one, but I'll update the Reiver too
@JetstreamAeronauticalEngineering how about we each make a modded and unmodded version anyway, just in case? Whichever one he doesn't fly, we can test separately
@JetstreamAeronauticalEngineering fair enough. Ahh, I say go for it, he let the Annihilator go last time
@JetstreamAeronauticalEngineering mine didn't have any last time and it would have been the quickest if only I had made it a little more AI friendly hahaha. Maybe we should get an opinion from @AndrewGarrison beforehand?
Solid time, it looks like I'd better get to work. Modded engines are fair game as well, I see
@Jetspeed1001 sweet, no worries. Try to pick smallish images in general, I don't think there's a way to resize them
@Jetspeed1001 if you press copy and then paste it here, does it give you the link or just do nothing?
@Jetspeed1001 oh, right. If you hold down on the image, it brings up a menu, right? is one of the options something like "open image in new tab" or "copy image link"?
@Jetspeed1001 same way, it's nothing to do with the system you're on. Just keep that format of
When it's all grown, add wings and make a radish glider
@AwesomeBoeingMaster788 it needs to be an actual image URL. If you're using google to get it, click the "view image" button so that it takes you to a page with just the image and absolutely nothing else
@bobthetitan @SUPERSAMROCK @grizzlitn @Nickasaurus @Kimo @helix44 @hadesrocksz @VikDesigns @TheRealTDawg @Cedy117 @Jackie @TheLatentImage cheers everyone
Skua SimplePlanes, but there's not much there yet. I'll get the videos edited tonight and let you know when they're up! It's the WWII fighter contest that TomServo was supposed to hold before he disappeared
This is actually quite nice and relaxing to put about in
Yep
I've actually got a whole tournament recorded, I'll finish editing it tonight
@bullman518 it was a mod, rather than a plane. As far as I know there's only a Windows version so far, but if I get a chance to talk to him later I'll see if he can do an Android version
Funny you should mention that, @HellFireKoder released a gyroscope last night. An android build should be possible
@Thegamingsnowman if you want it to be a bit more stable and turn a little slower, put some more dead weight in the front, that should sort it for you
@NovaTopaz if that means you know how to get mods working in OSX, RocketLL wants to know
@Halfstrike for reference
@Halfstrike right, okay, I understand now. Use at least four spaces at the start of the line for that style
I tested it on a helicopter recently, but nothing uploaded, so go for it!
@Halfstrike oh like the lorem ipsum thing I did? Use three backticks, like this:
```
Testing
Testing
1
2
3
```
Which would look like this:
Testing
Testing
1
2
3
@Halfstrike do you mean how do you put a screenshot in this thread?
@Halfstrike lorem ipsum is a bunch of Latin-looking nonsense that gets used as placeholder text a lot, and I needed some placeholder text
@AMDpwnedU the only appropriate soundtrack when flying this
Note: large amounts of swearing, don't click it if that bothers you or you're younger
