@LeoBrasi here, I made you a fuselage quickly. I know you said you would add engines, but I felt like that was the best place for it anyway and I wanted to blend it with the fuselage. You can always change it if you like!
@DelphFoxFan mate, the game is multi-platform, acting daft about it isn't going to help anything. Kimo, like many other users, has made some truly excellent stuff on iOS.
Nice work! It drives pretty well. It did alright at off-roading until I accidentally rolled it down a cliff too :/ by the way, tagging people doesn't work in descriptions, which is why I didn't see this before
@DestinyAviation wow, I haven't had it that fast yet! I think the interesting thing is that this only has one VTOL engine with 1.5x power, but if you put that on another plane (like the stock Vertigo), it barely gets supersonic. I guess the insane propellor-wing-things must actually work
Technically yes, that's what the "Painted" tag is for. It's pretty common to see, especially for popular builds, but not everyone likes it much (understandably). I wouldn't worry too much, though, it's rare for repaints to take attention away from the original
@FennVectorCWA mine was an edit of one that I made months ago, I'm claiming originality here hahaha. I don't think it's a problem, though, they all perform very differently
@Jackie thank you very much, I was quite excited to get this one published. It's alright, I broke it plenty of times during testing, I agree completely haha
@MediocrePlanes it might just be the centrifugal force of having engines on the end of the wings causing it, then? I dunno. Mine is too small to have proper engines on the wingtips
@LeoBrasi man I get all my milestones on this site in weird ways. I crossed over 5,000 with successor points from a build that I helped somebody else with hahaha
@LeoBrasi hey don't worry dude, you seem to be getting the hang of it. Practice makes perfect. And with regards to not uploading much: that's okay. It's good to try to work on things before uploading them, some people spam stuff way too often on here haha
@LeoBrasi okay, general impressions of your planes: I like that you've tried unusual things like the wings on the DragLess Ant or the folding one. You seem to understand the relationship between CoM and CoL too, which is good. Areas for improvement would be: try to use fuselage sections instead of the old blocks, they're better for basically everything; also learn about wing profiles (the options for symmetric, semi-symmetric, and flat-bottom). What those do is affect how much lift the wing produces with no angle of attack (so flying level). Semi-symmetric is the middle one, flat bottom gives you more lift, symmetric gives you none. What this is good for is making sure that your plane can fly nice and straight without automatically pitching up or down. If it pitches up, make something at the back flat-bottom, for example. Try things out!
Ace, I had to change quite a bit of your plane to get the AI to fly it properly, so it's a Phantom now, but it's still very much based on your Skyhawk.
@JovianPat it's alright, half of my planes never get yaw control because it's so difficult to get it working and doesn't do much anyway hahaha. The thing to remember is that it works just the same way as your CoM and CoL for the regular wings. Obviously you need to kind of imagine where your centre of "lift" for the vertical stabilisers would be, though. Because the CoM is usually quite far back on planes of this style, the CoL for your vertical stabilisers isn't far behind it, and it doesn't give you much stability.
As I said, though, it's nitpicking. You've got a pretty awesome plane there.
Manoeuvrability: excellent, it's responsive without being twitchy or difficult to control.
Stability: a bit wobbly in the yaw axis, which makes aiming tricky, but otherwise fine.
Speed: comfortably supersonic with the outer engines on, seems perfect to me.
Weaponry: well armed without affecting the flight. Maybe one Inferno would be nice for those of us that suck with bombs haha.
Design: a few nice creative details like the stabilisers underneath the wings. I think the front is a bit busy, it might be worth moving the missiles back a bit or hiding the miniguns a little, but generally it's a good-looking plane.
In the game, bullets don't collide with a part if they start inside it, so I think it's just a case of carefully adjusting your guns to be close enough behind the prop. There's no way to sync them with your prop just now
@LeoBrasi you've got the CoL behind the CoM, right?
@LeoBrasi here, I made you a fuselage quickly. I know you said you would add engines, but I felt like that was the best place for it anyway and I wanted to blend it with the fuselage. You can always change it if you like!

@Danillio you can do it on any system, you just have to type it the same way. It's not like a special button or anything like that.
@TehDuck off to a good start, keep it up!
Nice work! It drives pretty well. It did alright at off-roading until I accidentally rolled it down a cliff too :/ by the way, tagging people doesn't work in descriptions, which is why I didn't see this before
@NewAir I really do want to see a Sweden tag. Saab fighters are awesome.
That's quite alright, it's silly to force yourself to play. Do it when you enjoy it, it is a game after all
@DestinyAviation wow, I haven't had it that fast yet! I think the interesting thing is that this only has one VTOL engine with 1.5x power, but if you put that on another plane (like the stock Vertigo), it barely gets supersonic. I guess the insane propellor-wing-things must actually work
Like AeroEngineering said, but without the space. Also make sure it's an image URL, a Google images or an imgur page won't work.
I built this for a competition a while back. You could make a faster one with modded engines, but I think I did decent job here
A trireme, maybe? Ram the USS Tiny with it haha
@Flightsonic @JetstreamAeroEngineering @bobthetitan @DestinyAviation @goboygo1 @MrSilverWolf @IStoleYourMeme @Noman0rumeral @General360 @swat132 @MrVaultech @Nickasaurus @dsr1aviation @TheRealTDawg thanks everyone

@JacobHardy64 it's actually a coleopter, which is a very different idea... but it's pretty cool. I'll keep it in mind.
@AeroEngineering wait seriously? From horizontal flight?
@Jackie thank you very much, I was quite excited to get this one published. It's alright, I broke it plenty of times during testing, I agree completely haha
@MediocrePlanes it might just be the centrifugal force of having engines on the end of the wings causing it, then? I dunno. Mine is too small to have proper engines on the wingtips
@TheLatentImage good luck with that... I haven't even attempted landing it. I wasn't able to land the Pogo, and it looked a lot easier.
@MediocrePlanes ah, mine did that as well at one stage. How powerful are your engines?
Isn't this awfully close to the 10-part challenge going on at the moment? It also has no jets, no missiles, no miniguns rules
@MediocrePlanes sorry dude hahaha. I hope we're gonna see yours anyway, I bet it's awesome
Sorteeeeeed
@MediocrePlanes @AeroEngineering @Hyperloop thanks guys!
@Hadesrocks I told you I had a plan! Hahaha
I'm glad to see this ready at last, you've put some real work in to it
@jsaret no, but what you can do is upload it to somewhere like imgur and then link it here
I wouldn't mind commuting like this, getting between the islands was effortless
@LeoBrasi a surprise! Hahaha
@LeoBrasi it's German and everyone thinks it's impossible to build properly ;) if it goes well it'll be up tonight, but no guarantees
@LeoBrasi Scottish haha. I do have a project in the works just now, but I'll make you something once it's done and uploaded
@LeoBrasi people made some crazy stuff even before v1.2
@iagoblack I seem to have inspired a whole wave of diamond-shaped entries haha
@LeoBrasi aww that must have been frustrating. v1.2 made such a huge difference to the game
@LeoBrasi man I get all my milestones on this site in weird ways. I crossed over 5,000 with successor points from a build that I helped somebody else with hahaha

Updated version of this one
Updated version with a mini review of sorts
@LeoBrasi I've made updated versions of a couple of your other planes, by the way, I'll give you a link to them once I've checked out the rest
This is cool, but needed some kind of roll control
Heh, apparently the solution to making hovering stuff easy to fly is just piling absolutely loads of RCS ports on
@Spikerya @AceMcCloud sorry this took so long!
Ace, I had to change quite a bit of your plane to get the AI to fly it properly, so it's a Phantom now, but it's still very much based on your Skyhawk.
@danishhaziq I've got a couple of other people to help out first (Spikerya and LeoBrasi have both been waiting patiently on me), but after that, sure
@JovianPat it's alright, half of my planes never get yaw control because it's so difficult to get it working and doesn't do much anyway hahaha.
