SP has always been running stable on my iPad. But not anymore! I experience repeating system crashes with a complete loss of the building progress! And worse, I am working on a project and encounter a fatal crash on the very same building step over and over again. This sucks!

Have you tried disabling the video recording in settings? Let me know if that improves stability.
it does crash on me but i save after 5 moves so i don't (or rarely) experience any fatal loss but it does annoy me along with everyplay glitches but its an intensive game for that platform so i can see why is crashes
It always crashes when I press play on any of the levels exept the sandbox ones so I can't play them and it crashes when saving A LOT and also when uploading and when crashing the hellbringer lol

It happens to so much for me, but there are warnings before it happens, either the sound cuts out for like 10 minutes and then CRASH! Or all of the rotators stop working. Or just sometimes it happens randomley.
@DelphFoxFan mate, the game is multi-platform, acting daft about it isn't going to help anything. Kimo, like many other users, has made some truly excellent stuff on iOS.

same here, I've learned to save frequently and to take break after an hour or so and reset the game.
