@MaleticAirplanes I deleted your comment with a swear word in it. I know you're frustrated, but the rules are the rules. Adding an octothorpe in the middle doesn't negate that.
@Seabo14 @pike101 guys, come on, there's absolutely no need to be fighting over this. I don't want to delete anything, can we all just apologise and move on?
Hi Boosterbolt207. I have edited the title of this plane, because naming planes for YouTubers is against the rules of this site. You are welcome to rename it to anything that doesn't reference a YouTuber or break any other rules. To mark a plane for Jelly's attention, use the "YouTube - Jelly" tag.
Hi cjrenegade300. This post is breaking a couple of this site's rules, so I'm going to remove it. First of all, naming planes for YouTubers is against the rules in order to reduce spamming. There is a tag for Jelly that you can use on planes that are intended for Jelly's attention.
Secondly, this plane has been copied with no alteration other than the colour. Posting edited versions of planes is fine, but make you need to make substantial changes rather than simply copying the design. You should usually also credit the original builder.
@Wahoo12 the high-altitude one never saw much action, really. It was intended to take on high-altitude bombers that turned out to not be much of a threat, and at more ordinary altitudes, the larger wings made for a less-agile plane. Fortunately we're not at war any more, we can pick whatever we like the look of haha
Hi Jellyisamazing111. I need to ask you to rename your plane, as mentioning YouTubers in the title of a plane is against the rules of this site. If you want to make a plane for a YouTuber, use their tag instead. There is a dedicated one for Jelly.
@FrogmasterAereonautics for Steam it's F12, but there's also the regular screenshot button on your computer. If you use that one, you just need to paste it somewhere that will let you save it
@Pipercub making stuff for Jelly to use in his videos is totally fine. Just use the tag system instead of naming the plane for him. That's what the "YouTube - Jelly" tag is there for
@bjac0 @Jasperjl that means you're using the wrong URL. It needs to be an image URL, so http://i.imgur.com/fBEJF.jpg works, but http://i.imgur.com/fBEJF doesn't. On Chrome (and probably other browsers), you can right click an image and select "copy image address" to get the right one.
@JacobHardy64 Thehtmguy had it right, you were just using the wrong link. You need the URL of the actual image, rather than the page it was on. You used http://i.imgur.com/cdrbtzB, but the image's URL is http://i.imgur.com/cdrbtzB.png.
A lot of the more experienced players put a lot of effort in to helping less experienced ones. However, out of nearly 40,000 registered accounts, only 149 have gold or above. There's just not enough to go around!
Regarding that clipped-wing Spitfire: it increases roll rate because it makes the wings narrower (less rotational inertia), but it comes at the cost of a higher wing loading, which made high-altitude performance suffer. The clipped wings were usually found on the L.F. models, which also had engines optimised for low-altitude flight. An opposite version, of sorts, had longer and more pointed wingtips for high-altitude flight.
Clipped wings look best, though, I'll take them any day!
Hi Craftblockbuild. I need to ask you to change the name of your plane, as naming planes for YouTubers is against the rules of this site. Use the tag system to get the attention of a YouTuber instead. There is a dedicated tag for Jelly.
@TehDuck @Hadesrocks Latent will have done that because this post should actually be in the forums. Discussions shouldn't be posted to the new planes feed.
I've removed the advertisement from your plane's title. Telling people about your channel in the description is fine, but please don't fill the new planes page with it.
@MaleticAirplanes there isn't a rule against it. I'll keep an eye on this post, since I can see it potentially getting out of hand, but it isn't breaking any rules.
@Thehtmguy I guess it's most likely something to do with the most recently-opened plane. If you open another one, the .bak for that will appear instead.
@Thehtmguy ah, yeah, that's normal. The plane in the editor is saved in a separate file from the actual saved plane, so that any changes you make are kept when closing the app. You can do it on PC, that's what I did before I got the actual PC version. As for the .bak... I'm not totally sure what that does. Probably best to leave it be.
@Thehtmguy try a couple of things like increasing the max thrust of an engine or changing the size of a fuselage part first. Those definitely work without any trouble
@SimpleName11 MediocrePlanes is the other new mod, RocketLL was one of the original ones. Thank you, though! The old mods do an awesome job, but as the community grows, it can get too much for a smaller team
@Thehtmguy a plane. You can save it as a subassembly once it's edited, if you want to use it on other planes. I usually just edit parts once they're already on the plane, though.
Hi ProChris2090. You've broken two rules here, so I am going to remove this plane. Please make sure you pay attention to them in future.
Firstly, don't copy planes. It's okay to make edits and upload a successor, but make sure you acknowledge the original creator. Simply stealing the entire plane and claiming that it was an edit of your own work is not on.
Secondly, don't title planes for YouTubers. The post about this specifically is here. Use the tag system instead. There is a dedicated Entak tag available.
Hi @Preston1234. I know you've given credit to Walrus for the build, but I have to take issue with "sorry if people hate me for using other peoples planes just so i can have a good plane". You're welcome to use planes made by other people all you like, but there's no need to upload them again if you haven't made substantial changes.
@roham I'm going to remove this plane. It is pretty blatantly stolen from thealban. Uploading edits is fine, but repainting something and then claiming it as your own work is not.
@AaronSonAirCrafts I know that this user is violating the rules, but that doesn't give you a pass to do the same in response. I've deleted your comment. Please just report offending posts in future.
Hi TomtheOwl. Tow things: first of all, please do not copy planes. Nobody likes to have their work stolen. It's okay to make edits to planes and upload them as successors, but try to change more than just the colours.
Secondly: naming planes for YouTubers is not allowed. The comment @MrVaultech posted has a link to the post explaining this. Please use the tags instead - there is a dedicated one for Jelly. You can edit your plane's title by pressing the downward arrow next to your download counter, and you can edit tags by clicking "edit tags" next to the image of your plane.
@DeezDucks watch the language please, Ducks

Yeah, totally fine, just so long as you recognise that a lot of people will be unable to understand it

@bjac0 I noticed, that's why I'm saying haha
@bjac0 also please be responsible with the forum editing ;)
@bjac0 @Jasperjl that means you're using the wrong URL. It needs to be an image URL, so http://i.imgur.com/fBEJF.jpg works, but http://i.imgur.com/fBEJF doesn't. On Chrome (and probably other browsers), you can right click an image and select "copy image address" to get the right one.
@RedHawk @AviownCorp it does wobble a little, but it's not too bad. All it needs to fix it is slightly smaller pitch surfaces.

@TheGoldenCauldren play nice, or don't play at all. Neither insults nor abuse of the report function will be tolerated.
@MarcosStarFighters no profanity, please

This light mod might be of interest to you
We're doing what we can to deal with all the spam. The best thing for you to do is not to argue with the spammers yourself, but just report it
@SUPERSAMROCK no worries dude, lemme know when/if you get stuck and I'll see what I can do
@jsaret definitely bordering. I'll be watching this one as well as the Trump one
@HellFireKoder to to the best of my knowledge, those were in place before the forums were a thing, and relate to planes.
@SUPERSAMROCK ohh okay. Levasseur PL201, then?
Tiltwing?

@Thehtmguy ...it had a lot of fuel? I don't think I've ever edited a fuel tank, actually
@SimpleName11 MediocrePlanes is the other new mod, RocketLL was one of the original ones. Thank you, though! The old mods do an awesome job, but as the community grows, it can get too much for a smaller team
@MediocrePlanes because I already get a lot of people tagging me for other stuff haha
@Thehtmguy okay, I haven't tried it myself, but apparently QuickEdit is good
@Thehtmguy can you not edit it in whatever you're viewing it with?
@Thehtmguy a plane. You can save it as a subassembly once it's edited, if you want to use it on other planes. I usually just edit parts once they're already on the plane, though.
Sorry to go against Mediocre, but please report rather than tagging mods. That way all of us can see it and mark when it's dealt with.
@O5c444r because I am a mod hahaha
@O5c444r it was for the Shark Tooth race tournament Monday before last.
All you need is some sort of text editor. The files you need are usually in InternalStorage\Android\com.jundroo.SimplePlanes\data\AircraftDesigns.
