@communisticbanana I agree, I personally prefer taking longer approaches on landing to adding a Gyro. But when playing with one on the airplane with "landing gear" it made landing super simple, but I also feel like that detracts from the reward of wrestling with it
@communisticbanana I'm glad you like it! It's an expansion on what I learned building my last flying wing. I'll be adding weapons when I can build a good looking bomb bay
You could also utilize thrust vectoring with a module like this to help you maintain control post-stall. (Shameless plug) https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/G6MlO9/Thrust-Vectoring-for-you
Vectored thrust and some nice meaty flaps should help you out. Consider modifying the deflection angle to something like 60°
@ACEPILOT109 thank you! I got the idea from the F-15 active program put on by NASA. If you practice, you can get it to hover on it's tail at 15-20% throttle!
@hopotumon
@CRJ900Pilot that was quick! I flew on a crj900 today btw. A bombardier plane, right?
@Stormfur thank you!
@Vidal99977 very good question. I hadn't noticed until you said something.
Looks like wing flex is the cause of the roll. Watch the leading edge of the wing when rolling the aircraft. The front moves inversely
Nice
I prefer the lower fighter design image overall, but prefer the wider design of the top one.
@DerekSP
@BlackhattAircraft thanks!
@communisticbanana thank you!
@dereksp thanks! I'll have to use one of your engines on an upcoming build. Your thrust vectoring engine looks much better than mine
Thank you!
Thanks for the spotlights! @JED @communisticbanana @JohnnyBoythePilot
@vidal99977 B1 bomber
@DepressedTortoise any idea how to use it?
Has anyone seen the USS Beast catapult location?

@communisticbanana I've debated adding a Gyro that's only active with the landing gear down. Thoughts?

Very cool!

No rudder anywhere??? Sorry I don't have time to download at work
This is great!
Very cool! Is it possible for one with a lower part count?
Wunderbar!
@ACEPILOT109 please do! Enjoy
@CRJ900Pilot thank you! I've put these pieces into a much bigger jet as well.

@chancey21 I think you make like this one too!
@Chancey21 Thank you! I'm working on a two-engine demonstrator as well!

@blackhattaircraft @acepilot109
How do you get the exhaust on the engines to look like that?
@Ikhsan2005 thank you!
@hopotumon
@sodiumchloride @blackhattaircraft. Sorry the gun is nearly impossible to hit anything with haha
Your center of lift, mass, and thrust are off center.
What happens if you win?
@Ikhsan2005 nope, but the VTol pieces allowed me to achieve the look I wanted and the yaw control too
@ikhsan2005
@acepilot109 thanks!
I'll help!
@tmach5
@hobbitfrog that was part of the challenge. You will need to make near constant yaw adjustments
@Vidal99977 thank you! There was a lot of fine tuning of the controls on this
@Ikhsan2005 yes, I am into some slower jets lately
