@DuckKing this isn't a rule (as of now), we just collectively agreed as moderators that news headlines shouldn't be appearing in the forum. Arguably it could be classed as spam since I myself alone have deleted two news posts on the same thing in the last 24 hours. I've seen the possibility of certain topics taking a wrong turn. The most recent being the motives of certain people that have appeared in the news. Having seen first hand what can bubble up, I can confirm that the comments on recent news stories can be pretty toxic, which is something the moderators and I don't want on the site for obvious reasons.
.
However, if you have points that counter all the points above, I'm willing to listen and take account of your points.
@KingDeadshot As long as it's simpleplanes related I personally see no problem with it. Will ask one of the devs to see what there thoughts on this kind of thing are. See if we can get some rules set in stone.
@Forwind No problem. I understand that you had good intentions, which is obviously always a good thing. You aren't the only one who has had a post regarding this removed, so you're not alone. I appreciate your concern regarding the lack of response. I can only imagine it left you feeling somewhat confused as to why a seemingly innocent post had been removed and again I apologise for not explaining at the time. Normally, I would leave a comment explaining why, but I guess I was too preoccupied this time around and forgot to say anything.
Simply this is a site for aircraft related things as well as some off topic stuff. However, new related topics should be kept off this site. This isn't the BBC and if people want to keep up to date on topics such as the one removed, then they will keep up to date via an official news application. Furthermore, anything you want to post should be posted on your social media web page.
.
Also, coming onto this site and being presented with a post regarding the deaths of innocent people is probably not what people want to see on a site regarding gaming, especially if they came on here to take their mind off matters like this (perhaps they are related to said individuals).
.
Overall, this is a sensitive subject and should not be posted on forums such as this. Thank you in advance for your understanding and apologies for not explaining on the original post regarding its removal.
.
@Johawks1976 Well, the whole point of my SB series of planes is that they'll continue to get bigger. I imagine that even in the near future, this will be dwarfed.
We recommend tagging the YouTuber using the tag system (click the grey "Edit Tags" button), as it makes it much easier for YouTubers to find your plane!
@MechWARRIOR57 I never said anything about banning anyone. Just to stop complaining about not getting upvotes. As for bad users, you should report them to mods like myself so we can investigate the matter. As a rule of thumb we have a strike system in place (there are exceptions), so the user will often be warned rather than banned anyway. However if they continue to behave badly, that's when the bans make an appearance.
@ALLSTAR7 I deleted your comment. For obvious reasons I can't state the exact word you used without breaching the site rules. Just try to keep bad language off the site please.
@Sunnyskies tried it. It rotates off centre, but not around the cockpit. i suspect the change in the CoM is probably throwing it off its roll axis a little bit, which would explain the spiraling.
@Sunnyskies take a normal camera (the one that isn't the orbit one) place it on a block that's not attached to the aircraft, then fly it. The camera block should stay on the ground. Then switch to the camera view and try to get the plane to fly past the camera while rolling. That will show you how it actually performs.
@Sunnyskies it is an illusion. The camera appears to be the centre because the view is focused on it. If you were to strap yourself to the edge of an air raft wing, while it was performing an aileron role, what would you see?
.
From your perspective, the aircraft would appear to rotate about you, rather than the actual centre line of the aircraft. But in reality, to an observer looking at the aircraft itself, everything would appear to be normal. It's just a matter of perspective.

@Sunnyskies It's an illusion. Get an orbit camera, switch it to fly-by and stick it on the nose. You'll then see that the aircraft appears to roll about the nose.
@Sunnyskies Switch to the fly by view. The camera in both the orbit and chase views are centred around the cockpit, which create the illusion that the plane is rotating around that point. The fly by view on the other hand, doesn't rotate about the cockpit and thus when rolling the plane, you can see the real point of which it rotates about.

@MikuKat You don't need to ask for my permission on that XD I'm pretty sure a lot of users on this site do that. I was inspired by the PAK FA, which is why I use it.
@MikuKat Since you specifically mentioned engines I assumed that wasn't the case, but like I say, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "strategy you used to place the engines". Do you just mean the fuselage blocks converging into the actual fuselage from the engines?
@MikuKat Sure. I'm not sure what you mean by that, but as long as it's not an outright copy of the whole plane, then I have literally no problem at all! Go for it!
How is anything mentioned rude? Your judging a whole community based on your experience off one moderator that was simply enforcing the rules of the site. I've explained in detail why the rules are the way they are, but you ignore the evidence placed in front of you.

@fallout4king You can ignore them up to a point, but he was encouraging people to violate the site rules. You can't ignore that. What you're saying is the equivalent of telling a shop keeper to just ignore the hundreds of people stealing his products... Despite the fact it's illegal.
.
Only a few individuals (probably in the region of 50 at absolute most) actually made things dedicated to the anti jelly movement. Like I stated before the site moderators handled them in the same way as the jelly planes. It's probably worth noting that the Jelly haters would not have progressed if the site wasn't flooded with literally hundreds of copied aircraft.
.
The community may not have helped themselves, but they were not the heart of the problem and as they say, the first step to solving a problem is to recognise there's one in the first place. Jelly, didn't and thus the problem was never going to be solved. Even now, we frequently have to remove jelly planes, while I haven't encountered jelly hate for the best part of a couple of months now.

@Maverick3838 How is this spam? To my knowledge there is no other planes like this.
