It has a chance to wash out builds that have actual potential to be seen in the new aircraft list and appreciated made by other users who put time into making them. Imagine a guy decides to post a well-done fighter build but it never got attention cause it was pushed down by 2-5 posts made by some children with some skibidi deficiency.
