So, I've played the AC-7 campaign around 10 times, and I think that's enough to write a review about it, so here it is:
Gameplay
It's incredibly fun! The flight mechanics are very easy to learn (tho I did use standard because I'm a b!tch) but really hard to properly master, especially on advanced. Same thing with the weapons, most of the guided ones are easy to use, especially the ADMM's on the Nosferatu, tho the direct fire ones are a bit harder: Guns, MGPs and PLSLs are goated, EML's are great, and TLSs are horrible. Also bombs exist. The planes are also very cool, though there aren't enough of them (they forgot the SU-27 and I want Tornado in the game), though parts, and the choice for 3 sp weapons kinda cover it up. Also PSM F-22 starts flying backwards
Story
It's pretty good actually. Trigger seems much nicer than all the previous Main Characters, Avril is... Uhh... Uuuuuhhhhh , and the antagonist ace, Mihaly is old (seriously, how is he still flying, he looks like he's 70).
I hated the IUPF squadron, and they can f^©k off
I liked some of the guys in 444th, mainly High Roller, Tabloid and Bandog, but McKinsey is an Asshole and Count should have shot him down in Mission 10
Long caster♥🍔
My biggest complaint is Schroeder or whatever he's called. He's like Jeff Bezos, if Jeff Bezos was Belkan, and had hair. And the Arsenal Bird, I hate the Arsenal Bird.
DLC story: Funny pirate man
Literal peak. The characters are amazing ( C R I S P W H I T E S H E E T S ), the missions are really fun, and the whacky superweapon is one of the coolest in the entire series in my opinion
Graphics/scenery
Nothing short of beautiful. The scenery is best in rural areas, and worst in urban areas with the pop-up thing. The planes and weapons look very cool, and the explosions are cool too
