How to download a plane (I can't believe I need to explain this):
Step 1: get a plane (here an example)
Step 2: click on the bis blue button that says "Download"
Step 3: Done
Your issue could be that you wanted to download a plane that got removed

Another Question: Does putting almost not visible fuselage blocks at the bottom for stabinity and adding those yyellow lights that flash if you turn count as Altering the design? Also: can the top speed be under 100 mph?

I mean there is the Mark all read button
Machine gun: just place a wing gun on a fuselage and edit connections
Smoke: you can make it with rockets and detachers but for tanks it's not useful as smoke screens
IR missile: yes
Islands: I'd say more islands with realistic terrain
Visual Effects: toggleable like image effects for less lag
Combat: yes
