@GalacticaAsia how are the PAPI lights supposed to work? When I spawned this, the PAPI lights didn’t work, or broke from fall damage (I saw an explosion located where the lights are, after a few seconds). I assume this is an easy fix.
@PlanariaLab I scaled this to 0.25 size, 50 cm in front of the cockpit camera, same height, with a hud distance of 2, but it’s a bit off for indicating attitude. Can you tell me how I can fix this?
@realSavageMan yes, if you continue to play SP, albeit not that often, that's ok. What's not ok is when players dump this brilliant game for that piece of sh*t FlyOut, where Jundroo probably didn't get any credit. That's like dumping your boyfriend/girlfriend because you saw someone on the street who "looked better" or something.
@KSB24 you should make an ai racer for this, when it's spawned in a certain location, e.g. coordinates -10000, 24.83, -20000 (y coordinate of 24.83 is the altitude at which it settles at).
@oldmate52 also here's some tips:
- Don't build it in 1/1 scale, maybe 1/10 to 1/100, then scale it up when it's finished.
- Either make the circuit suitable for a large flat area of land, or a spawnable island.
- Add barriers and run-off areas (especially around corners), with partCollisionResponse set to none for all barriers, and probably the track (I recommend doing this before building the track and barriers, and use those parts to make them, so that you're not repetitively setting partCollisionResponse to None for each part after the track is finished).
- I recommend adding a pit lane.
- Electronic flag panels like in Formula 1 would be really cool, as well as lights at the start/finish line (I can help you with that if you need it, like if a yellow or red flag were to be thrown at random).
@oldmate52 Gold Prix has a massive turn, which is very annoying. Mirage Speedway in Maywar has no straights. So that picture in the link great, but you could make one of the hairpins tighter.
@oldmate52 try finding a real racetrack (a simple one, of course), and make the track with fuselage parts, with some run-off area – it doesn't have to be an exact replica.
@GalacticaAsia ok. Will you share the PAPI lights?
+3@oldmate52 I got 1:46 for the whole thing.

But are all the lights label parts, or beacon light parts?
@SilverStar I'm not like that, and will never be like that for as long as possible.
@1714 I might actually, with 1348 parts.
oh YES!
Does it work in SPMR?
@GalacticaAsia can you share the link(s) for the lights and gates?
T
@Mousewithamachinegun122 I replied to them.
+1@DeezDucks I can tell from your bio’s.
+1@MonarchiiwithastolenMG what is the HELL has this come to? (provide a link)
+1@Stealth117 I intend to stay here for as long as possible.
@dabestsock *2015
@MAPA NO

@TheUltimatePlaneLover let’s refrain ourselves from bombing Japan, please.
@32 if you prefer SP, that’s that sorted. We should shut up now.
This is 1.6 times the size of the original plane.
@32 ahem, this is simpleplanes.com, you can't decide it's a stalemate – you must choose who wins, and ONLY ONE can win.
+1I wonder who's bothered to get rid of all the drag?
@Stealth117 @MrSilverWolf I once tried to block a moderator, but the website refused to do that.
+2@32 and in many more ways, SimplePlanes is better than FlyOut. End of story.

@Dragoranos this could not be more right!

@Boeig daf*q
@DDVC ok
@DDVC would this work with high physics on your spawnable track?
@MisterT what car did you use?
@MrSilverWolf that’s why I deleted my RB15. It had [REDACTED] on it. Twice.
@SILVERPANZER if the reason is they now play Flyout (like one SP friend of mine, who I know in person), THEN they can f*ck off.
+1@Noname918181 WE NEED PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM!
+1T
@Tingly06822 I forgot to tell you, can you do the 2018 F2 car, not the 2024 one (I don’t like the rear wing of the 2024 one)?
+1@FirstLandFish83828 no. just no.
@Tingly06822 ok
+1@LunarEclipseSP mmm…
+1@Tingly06822 can you at least share it with me?
@Tingly06822 What happened to the F2 car?
+1@KSB24 I was thinking something like this.

@Boeig lovely
@NTFSCP can you do Wright Airport taxiway lights as well?
@Erc90F4RU look at the timestamps of the start and finish, and then subtract those timestamps.
