@DC10AirTanker914 They could work, but there is a concern beyond who'll host it. The immense amount of GIFS would probably tank the perfomance, not of the server side, but client side.
In simple words, the site would take longer to load up than usual... that is if your browser doesn't crash while loading that many GIFS.
Besides, I don't think there is an innate need for GIFS. I'd much rather users take time to take a single good shot from something instead of having to run a video.

I still remember how sweet it felt when all 5 devs upvoted that, I basically got an early confirmation that it is happening... And you know, I feel like they actually took some of the feedback people put up on that post, like the simpleplanes 1 to simpleplanes 2 airplane transfer, which was actually suggested by someone there.
