@VinFage it would make the instructions more clear, but people like short and sweet thumbnails. Besides I've seen that most people here get what a "never built" plane is
Oh yeah, about my list of livery projects, I'm going to move the list to a forum post and link it to every airplane post after this one.
The advantage is that it makes the description look less wordy, I don't need to copy and paste the list every time, and I can place photos
@5cmPak38aufPzKpfwIISfl901
- Originality: 10/10 (extremely rare concept, also this looks like the only Martin 262 in SP)
- Looks: 12/15 (very nice, very accurate, but no fuselage wing)
- Performance: 12/15 (powerful and manoeuvrable, I had a fun time flying it and trying to shoot tankers down with it)
- Features: 5/5 (guns)
- Overall: 39/45 (good job! I'm saving this)
If anyone isn’t satisfied with their points, you can redo the plane and submit it as a new aircraft, and I will mark it separately. Do note however that you can only make at most 3 planes.
@Gabriel747 I’ve searched Google, and there was no actual concept for a passenger B-52 produced by Boeing, if there was I would have seen blueprints, models or maybe even prototypes. As such, I can’t accept the plane.
Found&Explained doesn’t just make videos about “never-built” aircraft, it also makes videos on “what if this plane was a passenger plane?”, which are purely hypothetical questions and NOT videos on real-life concepts, if you get what I’m saying.The passenger B-52 is one of those videos.
However, a passenger version of the Lockheed C-5 Galaxy was proposed, called the L-5000, so if you want to make it feel free to do so
@Hiimakeplanes
- Originality: 7/10 (the P6M's listed as one of the example aircraft, and there are several other P6Ms on the site)
- Looks: 9/15 (this is quite accurate but it's small, also i know that since it's a block plane the details are very simplistic and minimal and it makes it look nice, but I judge based on realism and detail. Also the actual plane has landing gear, despite being a seaplane)
- Performance: 12/15 (quite decent performance, very manoeuvrable)
- Features: 5/5 (has weapon)
- Overall: 33/45 (nothing else to say)
@Vincentmenard
- Originality: 9/10 (i never heard of this plane before this post)
- Looks: 9/15 (looks ok, but the real plane's bigger, and the nose isn't supposed to be this pointy. Also the nose gear's painted white and the default cockpit sticks out)
- Performance: 11/15 (flies ok, but pitches up a lot at full thrust without trim)
- Features: 5/5 (the experimental plane has no features, so)
- Overall: 34/45 (good, just work on the accuracy bit)
@Rick09
- Originality: 9/10 (I never even heard of this plane until you posted it, good job!)
- Looks: 11/15 (looks nice at a first glance, quite accurate too, I really like the fact that it has a working cockpit. Just change the tail shape to make it more accurate, and make the cockpit look more 1940-ish.)
- Performance: 10/15 (flies quite well, only bad thing is that it's unstable, although the real plane's performance wasn't that good either)
- Features: 5/5 (it's suitable as a fighter, and has working guns too)
- Overall: 35/45 (good job!)
So when you reach gold will you change your name to GOLDPANZER? lol
@realSavageMan ohhhhhhh i see now
@realSavageMan just the logo; the 747’s from someone else
@KangIntel thank you
This should become the official SimplePlanes commercial
@VinFage it would make the instructions more clear, but people like short and sweet thumbnails. Besides I've seen that most people here get what a "never built" plane is
Accepted
I literally just watched the found&explained video on this lol
So a challenge is now officially my most upvoted plane

(good job! I'm saving this)Little bit of self-promotion: I just made a new plane, it's fictional though
@JustWingIt 🤪
When the new player aggressively spams the mirror tool on the tutorial plane (yes I know that's not how it works it's a joke)
@Kmserika are you talking about the german flying wing bomber?
@alexJgameYTukraine000000 only real planes allowed
Most normal countryball in ohio
Also the Ohio countryball shape is different, so it can challenge you
Make ohio countryball (i guarantee you’ll get upvotes)
Oh no I saw it
Congratulations on finally discovering the forums
So you’re saying that this comment can VTOL, since you can see it? @Hiimakeplanes
@Gabriel747 Nice drawings, it’s just that the An-225’s out of scale
Also here’s an A320NEO I drew from memory yesterday

ooh a tail-sitter
@Vincentmenard you can submit up to 3 aircraft, so if you make an updated version I’ll consider it as your 2nd aircraft
@Gabriel747 no, since a passenger B-52 was never a real concept
bonus: uh sir i hit a rock
