I saw that post, may or may not have written an essay to retaliate.
Anyways, it’s been removed. If you click on the link, you’ll find yourself on the homepage.
So, to announce that you don't have time to make features, you make features. It doesn't make much sense.
Also, I doubt that the devs want to give up on SP, since some of them are still involved in SPBC (the main Discord server). It's just that they'll need about 2 years-ish to sort out all the Juno bugs and wait for the initial hype to die down, before they consider any updates.
@Randomplayer there are only 187 F-22s in the world. On absolutely no grounds would the US Air Force give any of those precious jets to the Blue Angels
I would say the cockpit is actually pretty well-done. The only issue is that your rudder (tail) is extremely out of proportion, ruining the look of the build. Just keep that in mind next time, and if you’re concerned about keeping things in proportion, use blueprints. @LimeAir
I’ve only been here for 10 months, and look at me now.
And about my opinion on platinum? Well, if you reach it, you reach it. There are no awards, no prizes, and you will not be any different of a player than you were before. Those users who become singularly focused on reaching this rank will find that after doing so, they lose all their purpose (which is something that I’ve prevented myself from doing).
So if you truly want to enjoy SimplePlanes, focus on the game’s primary objective: building whatever you like. Gaining points should only be a secondary objective.
@Walrus001 also, you can take custom screenshots by clicking on the blueprint icon (hidden within the eye icon), adding your screenshot as a blueprint, and then taking a screenshot of that blueprint while publishing.
Or alternatively, follow this tutorial.
Custom screenshots really bring out your builds, and the possibilities are endless.
@FLANEFANCY1234 correction order: this is the freighter version of the D-01-300, not the passenger version. Only cargo airlines are allowed for your challenge.
@Hiemovi @Russkiy98 if you take a look at the builds on the site, you’ll actually see many aircraft/tanks with Russian flags, and no one has issues with those.
The issue arises when the specific ”Z” symbol is used. This is because unlike regular roundels/symbols that are used in both war and peacetime, Z is a symbol specially created by Russia for the war. Hence, any craft with the Z symbol on it is evidently built to portray the war.
And why symbols like the Nazi flag and Rising Sun are allowed on historical builds is because they’re from wars that have already taken place. In contrast, the Russo-Ukrainian War is still ongoing, and people are still dying from it every single day. Hence, using a war symbol from an ongoing war is insensitive and inappropriate.
I know I shouldn’t be talking politics here but I wanted to point this out.
@ToeTips I think the issue is that the physics engine was initially built to be simple, but over the course of new updates, many new and much more complex parts were added to the game.
Thus there’s a loss of compatibility, making some parts out of whack.
Noooooo he became black
+1But anyways, congrats on platinum!
Don’t upvote we need to keep him at gold
+1@Pan yep I definitely wrote an essay to retaliate

I just happen to be here
+1Bro predicted Barbenheimer
+2@SILVERPANZER
+24th way: post weird-looking fictional aircraft/stuff once a month and watch them go viral.
No regrets.
Oh the misery

Yeah, you can see the centre engine on this image.
@DatMaluchGuy19 *727
But yeah, it has 3 engines; the exhaust for the middle engine is at the very rear of the plane

+1Just disconnect your cockpit from the fuselage using the connections tool, then there shouldn’t be any issues when mirroring
+1ok

+5“Excuse me ma’am, I don’t think planes have sunroofs this large…”
I relate so much to this
+4@Neruneten21 can you put the link for the plane here? If I do it, it might be considered self-advertising.
Also, thanks for testing my plane!
Congrats!
+1@starmango it’s the idea that counts.

Souplane did it for us…
+1@FLANEFANCY1234 bro I have exams in 3 weeks, just be patient. This is pretty fast considering there are planes that take an entire year to make
@FLANEFANCY1234 in October. I delayed it because I have to study
That game is even older than SimplePlanes
Image resolution go brrrr

+1@FalHartIndustries he asked someone else to take the screenshots for him
+1@PlaneFlightX what did you do to your SWL-10 💀💀💀
@cx332 what’s the map in the last screenshot?
Boeing 747-423

Congrats on platinum, your okthxbye permit is in the mail.
@Erc90F4RU Congrats on platinum!!!
@WaterFlavouredSpitfires it’s a fictional plane

@teddyone02 it happened on Discord. Also I just added you to the autotag
+1Another big W for the Tank

@DatMaluchGuy19 the part count is nothing compared to many builds I’ve seen
Took 5 years to build planes on a game meant for building planes lol

Sigh, politics at it yet again.
+1And this is an issue with the US and Google; why do you have to drag Jundroo into this?

This game runs on a 2015 physics engine what do you expect
This isn’t an Airbus, it’s the Airbus
