If you scale the wheels to be very short they hide in the body but act like a round wheel. Then you activate and tune the suspension. Modding the weight to a realistic number also helps. @SimpleFlow
@GeneralColeOfTheAf this plane was loosely based on the "Just Aircraft" Super STOL bush plane. I've actually never seen a float version of the super stol but I love float planes and it wasn't much of a stretch to add them.
Man this is fun, I'm taking pot shots at the uss beast from Yeager field! If the elevation was a little more precise I could hit it! As it stands they fall just short or just over head. This is definitely getting saved
yes, you need more spring rate on the side that bears most of the weight, that was an issue with this ship as well. also even with a realisticly weighted vehicle, the dampening scale is to narrow by a factor of 10. to get good dampening and prevent bounce, you must XML it. i think the top of the scale is 1 or 2.5 and im running 25 on this and as much as 100 or 200 on other projects @laSoul
@laSoul If you check the XML for this you'll see massScale="whatever" (1 being normal and .0001 being almost weightless" this is how ive been shedding weight, much more stable then negative fuel which can be super glitchy.
@KCferrari thanks! the weight reduction and limiting the power really helped a lot also, the upper thruster has a power multiplayer of .00001! if not it would compress the suspension into a nose dive
The wheels are scaled to be super thin, but they effect the ground as if they where round. Then a bunch of weight reduction and allot of suspension tuning and boom! Hover car.
This is awesome!
Cool!

@Insertname you too!
@Insertname hmm, my tiny air frame can't handle it, she needs a ground up redesign, next time maybe, im going to bed!
@Insertname Jeepers, going through some of these, i dont have nearly enough engines!
@Insertname Thanks man! this is the one im most proud of!
is there an easy way to do it? other then trolling through peoples profiles?
@Insertname Thanks!
lol i think i took it too seriously! yours is awesome looking though!

I love all the back stories.
right on!
@laSoul Nice, excited to see it
That's a charmer! I like the dihedral in the flaps that's cool! I'm saving this one so I can see it flying around my island.

this is so thing is insanely controllable. most controllable vtol ive used!
nice job!

@laSoul oooo Pod Racers! that's an idea! now if we could just get it to work on water
thanks for the up vote!

Thanks for the Vote @Himynameiswalrus
@Stampede that's and interesting challenge. I'll have to think on it for a while

@Stampede
No Problem, She's a beaut! @SimpleFlow
@TAplanes Thanks!
Thanks you @zed
Thanks for the UpVote! @Unstable be sure to check out version 2 with even lower stall speed. I also made a float version.
@Skyhavenflyer8 thanks for the upvotes!
you've got some cool builds! you've gained a follower!
Thank you @zed
