I think that there is something wrong with the post. I know that I have the latest version of the game but it won’t let me download. You are on 1.9 right? Also, make sure that the wheel are connected to the correct engines.
@randomusername I’m sorry that it took me so long to reply to this, but I tried that same thing and the plane still won’t get to 1000 mph. It only gets to about 500. The plane also does a crazy yaw waggle thingy now and I don’t know how to fix it.
@Fartspoppop
It’s a stunt plane.
I actually ended up deleting A this morning. I tried some of the other suggestions and when I loaded it into the game it just didn’t look right. I also looked at some of the planes that I based this off of and they were also clean.
@Aarons123
Do you think that the plane itself would look better with a darker color scheme? It only looks like this because it originally started out as a WW2 trainer type of airplane, but I later decided to make it a stunt plane.
Well, it works fine for me... Btw, the cockpit is awesome! I feel like you might have to disable collisions on something. To find out what, try flying it with the gear up, then down, same for the gear doors, then try it with the pilot ejected and stuff. If the issues stop when you keep the gear down, then it is the gear, and same for the cockpit ejection stuff. I hope that you find the issue because this is a really nice plane!
@SnoWFLakE0s
It used to be like that, but I just broke it again with an autogyro. I really didn’t xml anything on it other than the tail wheel (made it smaller).
While some of you NASCAR haters have a good point, have you seen the crashes? Also, even though it’s just going in circles it can require a lot of skill to stay so close together without colliding. The technical side is interesting too. The team engineers have to do a lot of work to make sure that the cars are fast and the drivers are safe. Also @blink182 is the Ford Mustang Japanese? What about the Chevrolet Camaro?
I made a plane missile proof by disabling collision response on all parts. I also increased the health on everything. After that I could crash it into anything and get hit by multiple missiles and survive. It didn’t work all the time but most of the time it did.
I have an idea but either the seat is too tall or the wheels are too small, can I change one of those? If not, then can I stick larger wheels onto the frame and leave the old ones there?
Maybe you could make the input for the hinge rotator v>(target speed for wing flex). But that is to make it work above a specific speed. To make the rotator work below a specific speed, use v<(speed). Yeah, I’m not sure if this is going to work, but I guess it’s worth a shot...
Oh no... my planes have slowed down to a minute flat! I am currently testing 2 other racers and perfecting all at once. Whichever one seems the most promising will get the most attention, and the best overall will compete. So far my fastest time was 0:57. I wanna get that time but reliably now, and maybe even faster if I can. Does anybody know why the AI controller just crashes the planes if I make them too maneuverable or fast? Any techniques?
Ummm, are we even allowed to use air brake propulsion? I have extremely fast times, but my plane doesn’t even have a prop on it? Is this pushing it too far?
@AndrewGarrison
Can I use xml to change the input of an air brake from 1 to -1 for the challenge? I tried it and checked it with the tournament validator thing, and it was good, but I don’t know if it counts as xml in this case.

Ummm, do you know that you posted 2 of these, or was it an accident?
@Fartspoppop
I could easily put the lines back though if enough people want them...

Yeah, I’m going to keep it as a stunt plane @Aarons123
Also, for the engine inputs you could have just used Pitch + Roll on one side and Pitch + -Roll on the other...
I knew this was getting an upvote as soon as I saw those engine inputs, nice!
@Aarons123

You attach wings to the fuselage wings, shape them to fit, and nudge them inside. You can scale the wings down if you want.
I flipped it...
Did you put a gyroscope in it?
That’s really nice!
It flies good. Some landing gear would be nice. I would give other suggestions but it really depends on what you built this to do
@randomusername I thought you could help for the electric engine stuff.
Actually never mind, I just did an experiment and figured it out. Thanks for the help!
@jamesPLANESii
Thanks! I have another question though, how do I keep the rocket from flying away?
Nice! I like the landing gear a lot!

@blink182
Dominating the field in ONE photo. The rest are American cars.

Edit: actually I changed my mind to 2
Is this made by @randomusername
Or is it a copy?
@thecrusader
How do you report posts? There are a few copies that I would like to report.
Was something supposed to happen?
@vcharng
The plane seems to work fine after getting hit

@Subnerdica
Whoa..........
I have actually forgotten the controls to one of my own planes before... This would be helpful.
I can get a minute flat fairly reliably. Trying to get the time down and make it reliable at the same time tho
@VeryUnprofession
Oh... That’s odd...
It’s possible to see unlisted planes if they search it or look at your profile... Or maybe you forgot to make it unlisted?
Which challenge is this for?
T
@Braynie0904
Thanks!

Thunderbirds:)
But the blue angels tho
Actually... I don’t know if this works with specifically TAS. Sorry.

I have just used some new techniques to get my plane under 1 minute! Now I just have to keep on tuning it to go faster.
You have to make the input for the airbrake v<(needed top speed).

I passed a million feet multiple times and never saw anything. How high was this?
Somehow it weighs over 6000 pounds loaded...
Whoa....

@DerekSP
Where are you?
@Irrandan
Just go to the mods menu in the game and turn on overload. It is for xml
