Man this one was a banger for a prototype, I'm gonna have to make something good out of it eventually, once I get the motivation I guess, I can't wait for the sequel tbh
@PlaneFlightX I've seen similar suspension done, in fact in my most recent build I use someone else's pushrod suspension with some success, The springs are not well fitted and I could probably figure it out if I keep fiddling around with it, I only started the project like yesterday
I already know the front doesn't have any shocks, but the rear suspension is beyond shitty and I'd like to know how to fix it or if I should go back to the drawing board, I'd like to create effective pushrod suspension because I've seen it done before and would like to do it with a small sized race car
I thought to myself "it's the game's default suspension and not engineered by hand, how can it be THAT good?", yeah nah that was blown out of the water shortly after driving it. This thing handles EXCELLENTLY, one of the most realistic driving experiences I've had in SP.
Status update, the active suspension GREATLY improves cornering ability and I've now made it the default, it will be something you'll have to turn off in the second one now lol.
I should mention, "But they were wrong, I showed them" is from a dumb stream I did a couple years back that inspired the name and decals for the car. I don't look particularly fondly on these old streams but they had their charm at times. I still think Loop Troop is a great name
@QuebecorMotorCompany Thanks! This was more of an experiment on the limits of this chassis, I might steal the front steering and suspension (I love mechanical car parts) and make the rear suspension independent, I will keep you updated!
