I'm probably going to use this as the predecessor to something new soon. It's almost unrecognizable from the original, just needs some sanding around the edges. This is quite cool.
@PyroManiac This was created on accident, but there is a better version out. The latest is called "More Voltage Final". It's actually not even the final model, but it's the last one I uploaded. It's quite a lot better and more refined than this crude experiment, but still has those hilariously janky wings.
I'll make one that the AI can control and will have it equipped with my colored guns. Expect that tomorrow, but you can just use whichever is better in the challenge.

Here Calvin, I made this about a month ago because I wanted to kill bridges from the water. It works great, but the controls are very abnormal, plus you have to aim with the main turret, so the AI wouldn't be able to control it. I recommend you pilot it.
@spefyjerbf Just looked into it, and unfortunately you cannot mod rocket pod exhaust. It seems that the script that plays the animation manifests itself within the main game files, so while I can change mine, if I upload the part it will look the same to anyone else. To make it up to you, I can make the full range of jet engines in light blue, if you'd like.
@Kerbango I can do better. Just imagine if I slowed down the bullets, sped fire rate, and increased accuracy, essentially making a lazer, and slapped them on a tiny beast plane. Can you get me a link to the challenge? I'll get started modding.
@PyroManiac No mods, just playing around in the file system. No roots either. Simply XML experiments. I found plane files and figured out which things so what. XML is so straightforward, it just works like that.
I can also make guns more or less accurate, firing faster or slower, larger or smaller calibre, shorter or longer delays, and change bullet velocity. If you want something special, just ask.

@MysteryBox Obviously there was a delay on Sea Explorer II, and I don't even know why. I'll try and get it out tomorrow, but in the meantime maybe check out my most recent plane. It was cool, but utterly unnoticed. Kinda disappointing, but now only a few can land and takeoff from water. Whatever.
@CALVIN232 I made this in like 15 minutes bro. Good idea regardless; I've done that with other planes. Right now I'm just trying to understand why the middle fuselage is so fat. It looks quite ugly. I'll fix that too.
@CRJ900Pilot Thanks. I would also highly suggest that you check out my All Terrain VTOL. Basically the same concept, but it used propellers. It also floats.

An important thing to remember: When making a VTOL, the source of thrust must be perfectly lined up with the center of mass.
