@Sense2 The snakepad is controlled by a single 6 axis control base, which has been precisely fine-tuned to lock to several positions using variables. It took me at least several hours to set it all up.

There will be two versions, mods and no mods.
@Sense2 The file I have in SP is 2000 however due to modding there is the equivalent of over 24000 parts in 3D models, with additional complex meshes that were 3D modelled externally.
@BaconX69 @Sense2 This is a 24000 part plane with many more equivalent parts in 3D models. It's modded to be 800 parts for the entire plane and 2000 parts for the cockpit (with lots of variables).
I have put lots of effort into making a no mods cargo version with the same cockpit.
@N0ble I've somewhat recently learned that modern planes even have this kind of system, and I have been considering it. I'm not entirely sure. Currently it just has the basic input = output control (with manual trim).
Even though it looks like it's done, the SWL-120 is nowhere near complete.
Some things I need to do (these will take at least a few months) include:
- Landing gear
- Redesign tail section
- Redesign interior (ceiling and some scaling issues)
- Engine code
- Engine sound fx
- Liveries
- Autopilot panel
- Navigation system and integration with FMC
- EICAS and other screens
- Everything on the Snakepad
- Technical manual and other documentation
- Cockpit details
- Code and variable efficiency improvements
- Random bugfixes
@ShinyGemsBro It appears to be a publishing bug, which has happened several times before. In fact, other users are reporting it too.
The best solution is to let the devs know and wait.
@windshifter1 From my knowledge of variables and control bases, you might be able to do something with a "floppy" control base (look up control bases in SimpleCheats, I already have a working floppy/rotating combo control base), where you do something with a control base and a spring outputting its compression to the control base. I'm not sure if that makes sense or will work, but it's an idea.
@TinyMaus I think I'm actually going to release a no mods version of each detailed part. That way people with "lower end devices" (literally everyone) can fully appreciate the effort I put in.
@Sense2 I'm not quite sure what you mean, do you mean there is an orange part showing outside the black border at a certain angle, or something else happens inside the black border?

@Sense2 My PFD has the exact same problem, I just recessed it into the panel so the excess orange blocks are behind the panel.
