@Flightsonic Ok, I was able to reproduce this with the current Steam version. I had inadvertently fixed this bug while addressing something else, so I wasn't able to repro it in my local copy :)
@Flightsonic The AI will not actually be aggressive regardless of selection when you pick a Final Approach landing location. You can see the targeting box on 'em is blue, indicating they are friendly.
"Most AI planes crash on Finals approach"
This unfortunately won't be improved this update. The AI can't land planes well that need a lot of throttle to land. If you need more than
about 30% throttle to land, then the AI will have trouble landing them as well.
"The autopilot gets some rolling issue while the airspeed is above 500mph. The plane rolls by itself and cant stop it with the autopilot on. It is not as stable as the older version..."
This should not have changed...I'm not seeing the issue. I know that it can happen somewhat if you engage autopilot while going fast and doing a high-g maneuver, but If you could give a plane and reproduction steps, that would be helpful.
@AwesomeDesign717 I've made changes to allow for Pitch/VTOL to be used for throttle, and Yaw as turning for designs which have a car engine active w/o an activation group by the AI.
That should fix these issues. It has not been pushed to Steam though.
@marcox43 We are looking into ways to make the AI throttle have more customization, but we don't have any specific plans...I know it is annoying though.
@marcox43 The cars run full-throttle, just like Airplanes when the AI is controlling them...it does make it more challenging to optimize them for a specific track.
@InternationalAircraftCompany If we had a single-blade prop we'd have to add a counter-weight to make it work, and I don't really see the benefit. Do you just want it for the novelty of it?
@BaconEggs The problem with using Steam Wallet is that the purchase is not a "Steam" purchase, it is handled via www.Stripe.com between Stripe and Eucl3D...as far as I know, Steam wallet can only be used for Steam purchases.
@Ngoat Awesome. I agree. I was kinda surprised how cool is was when I bought the P-51 I made (yes I had to pay retail price)...even though it isn't that special of a design...it was mine, and so was pretty neat to get.
Regarding the price, this must be international, and also not USD. Smalls are $32.99 USD...($29.00 + $3.99 shipping domestic). It is $19 for international shipping, so it would be $48USD.
Please though, only one suggestion per submission. Ones with a bunch of ideas in them don't mean nearly as much to us even if they have a bunch of upvotes b/c we don't really know which suggestion may have prompted people to vote.
We look at Uservoice before starting any new content/feature update. Some of the suggestions on there have already been implemented I just noticed, we need to do a bit of cleanup.
@UnknownNate Man, not even as good as a gold? I have gold ranking! ...sobs
@jfriss I liked it b/c I saw you link to it from a YT video about SimplePlanes and I thought it looked great...a bit lacking on elevator control would be my only feedback.
@BrodieB It is currently only available on Steam/GoG.
@FullFruntall They certainly won't be suitable for RC. If they were bigger, you could use 'em to create a removeable latex mold and fill with foam, but I think they're just too small even for that to work well.
@TheAwesomeOcelot Yes. Eucl3D tries their best to match the print as closely as possible to the original model...color and all.
They may need to make some parts "fatter" for structrual integrity, but they do their best to print it as close as possible within the capabilities of the printing technology.
@Flightsonic Also, I fixed the "AI flies up continuously for no apparent reason", thanks for reporting it.
I don't think this is a new issue, but I've logged it, thanks.
@Flightsonic Ok, I was able to reproduce this with the current Steam version. I had inadvertently fixed this bug while addressing something else, so I wasn't able to repro it in my local copy :)
@Flightsonic Hmm, I can't seem to reproduce that. So, you are saying if you use the keys for VTOL, it will affect the AI as well?

@AwesomeDesign717 @Toast Why would you need to use one...can you not access the apple store in China?
@AmerigoB
"AI spawned on ground retract landing gear and crash"
Can you give a location/aircraft which demonstrates this?
@Hyperloop

@Flightsonic
"Aggressive AI planes do not attack"
I cannot reproduce this...can you give me the planes/steps to repro?
@Flightsonic
"AI flies up continuously for no apparent reason"
Can you give some steps to reproduce this?
Cool, what program did you use to edit the obj?
So, the cars use the throttle input for throttle. They will act strange if the engines are setup to use Pitch as the throttle input.
@marcox43 We are looking into ways to make the AI throttle have more customization, but we don't have any specific plans...I know it is annoying though.
@Gmanndo1000 There is a convoy on Yeager, which is on mobile.
@Typhlosion130 The new tires function the same as the other off-road tires as far as performance.
@marcox43 The cars run full-throttle, just like Airplanes when the AI is controlling them...it does make it more challenging to optimize them for a specific track.
@Dimkal So, after you updated the mouse-wheel didn't work for zooming...you had to change it in the control settings?
@InternationalAircraftCompany If we had a single-blade prop we'd have to add a counter-weight to make it work, and I don't really see the benefit. Do you just want it for the novelty of it?

@Engineeroftomorrow The beta is only on Steam, but it will of course come to GOG.com when the final version is released.
As Gestour said, the web update which has Eucl3D will coincide with the next SimplePlanes update, which should be ready pretty soon.
Here is the soundtrack on the composer's Bandcamp page, FYI
@HakkeAirTech Are you running the Samsung "GameTuner" app?
Haha, maybe...but maybe b/c the water is...not right...what device are you using?
Yeah, the order didn't go through, I'm not sure why though.
Dude, stop posting this stuff, you will be permanently banned...ip banned...you will not be able to make other accounts.
Do no make "negative" posts directed at a specific person.
I think he meant a link to the plane.
Really good flier.
This is super fun to use, and works/looks amazing. I tried a bunch of times to hit the destroyer and almost did, but haven't quite done it just yet.
@Ngoat Awesome. I agree. I was kinda surprised how cool is was when I bought the P-51 I made (yes I had to pay retail price)...even though it isn't that special of a design...it was mine, and so was pretty neat to get.

Nice ideas. Add unique ones to the SimplePlanes Uservoice.

@jfriss You're welcome :)
Looks great, and flies extremely well.
Wow, this is amazing.
@BrodieB It is currently only available on Steam/GoG.

@ramjet Hmm, I'm guessing if you exit and go back in it will show up. Don't know why that would happen though.
@WillB88 If you are on Mac with Steam/GoG, then yes. The update has not made it to the Mac App Store yet though.
@Flightsonic Good point regarding trim. Excellent design :)
Handling doesn't get much better than this aside from the tendency to pull up at max throttle.
To @Seabo14 and all who have asked. We don't generate an stl file, Eucl3D dooes that (and manually adjusts the model for optimal printing).
We may at some point add the ability to export obj/material files for you to use for various purposes though.
@MediocrePlanes I believe we have forgotten to include the option to do that...please forgive us :)
@Flyingtacos Not without modding the game in some way to export the models.
@ChasingHorizon We'll ask them about that. Thank you.

The sizes are an approximation. Prints are ultimately sized based on the volume of material required to print.
Check this out for more info on how the same "size" may end up differing in the final print based on the volume of the model.
