There is also a feild kit that allows the addition of a second box.
It has the same functionality as the first one.
Also, ERA/CPSA is also issued in urban environments.
@GoldenEagle
Yep. However, it was also know as the Cheetah of Pion-Yang. It could
literally zip into a new position before they could track them with the guns of their tanks. @Pilotmario
I believe he started to use that method on me, then applied it to you as well. It is really quite illogical and annoying.....then again he is often defending illogical and ineffective creations of madness. @Pilotmario
This is one of three Korean MBTs, as such, the MBT-9A (This tank) will be replacing the MBT-5, due to their superior armor and similar cost.
The MBT-5s will be sold as surplus with any ERA/composite plates still attached, however, all 132mm guns will be kept for Korean service. These will be produced in both North America and Europe.
(MBT-5 will only be replaced when one of these tanks is available on the front line)
As operation is similar, little training will be needed.
It has a hatch I the rear of the turret to facilitate reloading of the ammunition carrousel. It has 20 rounds inside and is separate from the rest of the turret. 10 rounds are also stored in an armored box under the turret basket. With four places for canister or tungsten APFSDS.
Often times only HEAT-GP or APFSDS is carried, but HE ad HESH is often issued.
The both the carrousel and armored box have blow out plates . . . meaning the crew will not have issues with the explosives in the ammunition.
The ridge also marks the path the arm follows after a round is selected. The arm rams the round in a the breech is also closed automatically.
The round has no propellant as this is a high velocity coil gun. As such spent casings/toxic fumes aren't an issue.
Loading-
Their is both a hatch on the interior and exterior. Ammunition is loaded via these hatches with a lever to move the carrousel left or right. The round's type must also be marked on the sleeve that the round is inserted with. This is done through a a RFID chip in the reusable sleeve.
The box however, requires the ammunition to be inserted through the commanders hatch and into the hatch on the top of the box. It is also mounted at an angle to make reloading the carrousel easier.
The other 4 are placed at one of the four locations inside the tank.
If necessary the gun can be loaded manually.
@GoldenEagle
Okay, yeah, he did basically steal our designs on the site, and capture them during the conflict. However, the next question is how he got a intact MBT-6 turret.@Pilotmario
The turret is from my now out-dated MBT-6D....me just put era on the side and a new 120mm gun. MudKip has added the oversized 160mm gun after removing the 10cm thick mantlet. @GoldenEagle @Mudkip @Pilotmario
So, you know how a coil gun works.....right?
A timed series of releases from a bank of capacitors. These are used because they can dump more energy than most other electricity storage devices, in a very short time. This means that they have little power left after use.
It is impractical to use capacitors in that manner, it wouldn't give the same acceleration until the very end. And even then it wouldn't be as powerful. @TemDesBur
@Supermini555 Up until you uploaded those three weapons . . . you had none.
However, the two more notable weapons are platoon weapons. You don't have any; LMGs, rifles, shotguns, or submachine guns.
You also lack any MANPDS or mortars, let alone any specialist infantry weapons.
Lol, we use a resin covered laminated fiberglass and Kevlar plates in our laminated sheets. However they are far stronger than just straight batting used in spall liners.
This is then topped with; graphene, shock sheets, ballistic ceramics, and RHA. There is also a single layer of the same RHA on the bottom.
Also, titanium is also included on the front of many vehicles, and a gap is also present between all the layers.
He has gained many misconceptions about armor when reading through my mind tanks. He doesn't understand how the laminate is used..... @Pilotmario

Your inability to logically argue a point without using an illogical amount of fallacy or stupidity. @Mudkip
Yep. However, it was also know as the Cheetah of Pion-Yang. It could

I agree, he really is quite the annoyance. @GoldenEagle
The TAL-1 also has that name.
This is down to the fact that the enemy doesn't know which is shooting them.
@Pilotmario
I believe he started to use that method on me, then applied it to you as well. It is really quite illogical and annoying.....then again he is often defending illogical and ineffective creations of madness. @Pilotmario
That isn't a viable argument. @Mudkip

I was stating the orgin of the components on the site. @Pilotmario
We deal with those whom are unconscious in the same way as the wounded. They are removed from the battle zone. @Supermini555
Umm, how is the round propelled. If it is going too fast, well, dear@Supermini555
I was stating the origin of the stolen components. @Mudkip
It is supposed to be realistic. Ask gold. @JakeTheDogg

That was the last time it was deployed in force. @Pilotmario
Umm, this seems reasonable.
Yes, also, it has a massive shot trap.@Pilotmario
What is the name of that square China? @Pilotmario
Sorry for saying the truth. @Mudkip @Pilotmario
So, basically our two creations stuck together. He is like the Iranians. @Pilotmario
He appears to have removed the mantlet, removing the gun's ability to move on the vertical axis.
This is vastly inferior to NRNW vehicles. @Pilotmario
I know you just have an attention span of a ADHD gold fish. You said that last part first, and the you was an I. @Pilotmario

.okay......@Mudkip
