Well Jundroo decided to stop giving the game new major updates. This makes the "Inside Job" update the last update SP will ever receive.
I've experienced this glitch in the past too, though it was usually fixed with a simple restart game. Didn't know it could happen consistently. It usually happens when the missile is XML modded
