@Graingy normally, wings create lift when angled and facing an air flow. Here, the movement and angling of the wing creats lift which now gets converted to forward movement. That's how birds fly in real life (i think. Not an aerospace engineer). Also fun fact. There was a working prototype made and it was french. But unfortunately it tore itself apart during a wind tunnel testing because of weak structural integrity. After that, they abandoned the concept because of complexity, lack of strong materials and it just wasn't practical despite all the advantages it had.
@Graingy you basically get them to flap like a bird. That creates propulsion. It's kinda hard to explain. For more info, search ornithopter. I have made a few myself, although not very good.
Some questions are reasonable and i can see how they are related to the game. But why do they want your location?. At that point, just find another server.
That lag spike gave me PTSD. I have to deal with it every now and then. And that's on the lowest graphics setting and without any screen recorder running.
Try adding some weight on the nose. It will be helpful.
Let me guess, your aircraft is nose heavy and it keeps pitching down. Unfortunately I don't know much of funky trees. About the missiles, try increasing the mass scale of the part it's connected to.
@GuardianAerospace well tell her to do something about it. Will your classmates stand up for you if you where to bring this up? (I think I phrased this wrong, I am not asking to start a revolution, just tell her the child is distracting you guys)
I am soo glad that I am done with school life, but now I have to deal with being an adult >:(
Hey, instead of making planes with different loadout, you should post a loadout package. It's easier and the users can switch between different loadouts easily. Just a suggestion though.
Nice plane by the way. I love light CAS planes.
@TheCommentaryGuy Okay, I change my mind. I didn't read the whole thing. And most users on this site is underaged and not everyone is from the US. Making this post even more pointless.
Hang on, there seems to be a misunderstanding. The code I explained is {Activate1? "FF" : "00"}. I didn't read the whole thing 😅.
You can leave the "00" part as "" so nothing will show when ag-1 is deactivated.
@AWESOMENESS360 also, if you want text to show, you have to put them between "".
You don't have to do it for numbers or variables or any other outputs or inputs.
Nope. Can't comment either. Like mouse said, the comments are probably disabled or the user did some shenanigans. A mild amount of tomfoolery, if you will.
@Graingy it does. You have to keep the target inside the lock circle. It's a bit tricky but you can modifie the lock angle on missiles with maxLockAngle and set it to a number in degrees. Setting it to 360 will enable the missile to lock target even if you are pointing away from target.
@Solent19 thrusters are most useful for VTOL builds. They help with movement while hovering and their input is automatically determined depending on its position on the build. And you need VTOL engine for them to work.
@Graingy uhhh, my bad. And yes, increased load on the wings (the moving parts to be specific) was a major problem it faced.
+1@Graingy it held up well, until they increased the speed. And all of this was after ww2 or around that period if I remember correctly.

+1@Graingy somehow it actually works.
+1@ShinyGemsBro ohhh. my mistake then.

.@AManMayDieButNotHisIdeas just post something as unlisted.
+1Java wither : gets stuck in a cave and dies
+1bedrock wither :
Just make a propeller out of rotator and wings. You won't need a drop of fuel and can fly for ever.
+1It's soo smooth. I really like it.
+1@Graingy :(
+1@Graingy whaa.... Never mind. Forgot you were clinically insane.
+1Some questions are reasonable and i can see how they are related to the game. But why do they want your location?. At that point, just find another server.
+1Uninstall and install again. Before that, copy all the important aircrafts and save them in a different folder. You can add them back later.
+1@Graingy i surrender
+1@DCSplanepro12 soooo.......... You showcase builds in the front page? If that's the case, I really need to step up my game and stop procrastinating.
+1That lag spike gave me PTSD. I have to deal with it every now and then. And that's on the lowest graphics setting and without any screen recorder running.

@Mosquitowithagun i use postimages. It doesn't need an account to use. But it's banned in some countries, don't know which ones.
+1@Mosquitowithagun keep testing. You will eventually find something that works.
+1@Mosquitowithagun the com and col position really affects a planes performance. Speed also has an effect on this.
+1@Mosquitowithagun uhh. Well either way, you need trim to fix it. Glad I could help (atleast partially)

How important is this essay?
+1Skip a day of school if it's really bothering you physically and mentally.
@GuardianAerospace no problem. Just take care of yourself. You will get through this.
+1@Mosquitowithagun he is definitely some underaged kid. I also thought he was a nice guy, until I saw the post.

You have to use the same account you used to buy simpleplanes.
+1The mass and position of the engines makes all the difference. If you are still having trouble with it, tag me on unlisted. I might be able to help.
+1Center of lift moves when the aircraft tilts it's wings. By default it will be ahead, but when wings are tilted up it moves behind.
+1@BlackGearCompany then yes, they can cause lag.
+1Are you talking about images on text labels? It depends on how detailed the image is.

+1@Graingy Playing it safe is a good idea, considering how sensitive this topic can be.

@AWESOMENESS360 in the code written by silverpanzer, when ag-1 is turned on the text "FF" will show up. If it's turned off the text "00" will show up.

Noooooooooooooooooo

+1it's spooky time
+11•How does that affect the community🤨?
+12•And what is the reason for the ban?
@GeneralCorpInc ahh yes, the classic "it's because of the damn phone".
