The Yak-3P is a Soviet single-engine fighter aircraft developed by Alexander Yakovlev in 1944 and is a modernized version ofBy 1944, the firepower of the Yak-3 was already insufficient to combat new, more protected aircraft of the Third Reich, so when developing the Yak-3P, the main emphasis was placed on strengthening the forward armament with minimal possible changes to the aircraft design. However, due to its late appearance, the Yak-3P did not have time to take part in the air battles of the Great Patriotic War. A total of 596 vehicles of this modification were produced, which were in active service for only 4 years.
