@Brencool35 yup it’s not too special. From the looks of those roundels it’s French so why not look at what French aviation companies were naming their fighters and find a designation that sort of fits.
From this angle it looks great! Can I see another view where it’s more from the top? The wings might look a little better further back but I can’t tell exactly from this angle. This is a fictional aircraft right? If it is then I would give it a slightly different name since this is also the name of some Pakistani concept fighter. Apart from that I am very excited to fly this plane when you finish!
This is pretty nice and I like the control surfaces you made as well as the nozzle. However, its roll control isn’t great, especially when you’re using pitch at the same time
What exactly did you change on this one? This one doesn’t really seem capable of stable controlled flying at lower speeds since you keep departing from flight
It looks goo and the overall shape and quality of how things are built is pretty good, but in terms of flying it isn’t great. It can’t hover properly (because of how the VTOL Nozzles are placed) and it’s turn radius is also huge, especially at lower speeds, for an aircraft which has a gun and air to air missiles. If you gave it larger control surfaces and an all moving horizontal stabiliser as an elevator, it will move much better! Lastly, you also might want to move the nozzles further as due to the aircrafts more unusual shape, the CoM is much more forward than normal and the CoT should be where the CoM is (only for VTOLs!). This sounds like a lot but they are mostly easier fixes to make. After looking at your other planes too I bet you could make a new version of this that works much better. Cool looking build overall though!
@Hedero yeah they weren’t needed towards the end of the war and they had more problems than anticipated. Regular Corsairs were more than sufficient and F8Fs were slightly superior. They are magnificent machines though
@Hedero no there were only 10 made, 5 for ships and 5 for land. Two F2G-1s still fly today but one has been modified heavily into a racer for the Reno Air Races
@Brields95 Source? Only 10 trails/pre production aircraft were made, five for carriers and five for land, so I would be very surprised by that. They were cancelled after. Also the only airworthy example that hasn’t been modified for racing is a F2G-1 (ground version) and can fold it’s wings still. It’s currently in Seattle
@Hedero yeah it would be nice but this was the first time and I don’t think it’s too common. I’ll just post everything unlisted first to test it out. I probably should have done that anyway
@Hedero it was lighter without the hydraulics and since it’s not a necessity for ground aircraft (the 1D was for ground and the 2 was for aircraft carriers) less weight was better
@Hedero I had something similar with my last post except the rudder on the version I had saved actually worked. SP works in mysterious ways sometimes hahaha
@teodor99 great to hear but sorry I don’t really do role play. Good luck with that though!
This is great! I’d personally move the wings back but apart from that it’s perfect. It really feels like an old jet fighter
@Brencool35 great then!

And here is the new top rated build of the month!

@Cobrahuey thanks! Feel free to leave an upvote too
Cool aircraft!
Do you mean retracting the landing gear or making suspension?
This is way too fun but also terrifying
@Kalanimcd sure but still say when you didn’t make a large part of an aircraft yourself. Otherwise some people take it as misleading
This is pretty nice! You should try to make more of your planes without mods. You definitely showed that you can do it well here!
@Kalanimcd should probably say that in the description then :)
Did you make that cockpit yourself?
This is pretty nice and I like the control surfaces you made as well as the nozzle. However, its roll control isn’t great, especially when you’re using pitch at the same time
Looking great so far! Can’t wait to see it finished!
Lovely! It’s very fun to fly and looks great. It does feel a little slow though
Soviet noises intensify
His version is lovely too so I understand why
This is just beautiful
Lovely MiG! Proportions and shape of the nose could use some work but good job overall
@Brields95 now that is disappointing but thanks for letting me know. Time to report I suppose
Cool! Other than this being way to fast, you did a great job on this! The shape is really good and I love the mouth you made on the front
Really lovely build! I don’t think I’ve seen one of these in North Korean colours on SP before.
Excellent build! It looks great and flies great too. You should add some tags to your post though!
What exactly did you change on this one? This one doesn’t really seem capable of stable controlled flying at lower speeds since you keep departing from flight
@Timplaner lovely! I’ll take a look at it
Oh and also the angle the rear gear are at is a bit off

Very nice harrier! It flies lovely and looks great too
@DJS8Corporations It’s a tough thing to do but well worth the results it yields!
Lovely build of a lovely plane! The windows could look more seamless with the fuselage but overall it’s fantastic. Great job!
To make it fly better either move the CoL backwards or CoM forwards. It looks very good though!
This is super fun to fly and has a lovely bomb bay!
@Hedero yeah they weren’t needed towards the end of the war and they had more problems than anticipated. Regular Corsairs were more than sufficient and F8Fs were slightly superior. They are magnificent machines though
@Brields95 neither of the two planes I referenced have crashed to the best of my knowledge. Racer 57 still flies and Seattle still has their aircraft
This is the most fun thing to attack the convoy with
@Hedero sounds good :)

Much better!
I like it! The edited version flies really well :)
Nice build! Looks and flies pretty good!

@ArchibaldBalence hahaha yeah there is no need to redo this one. Just add those features to your next build :)
@ArchibaldBalence great to hear! If you need help with it feel free to ask but I’m sure that if you tinker around with it you’ll make great ones
Awesome! I’d definitely stay there
Pretty sure the F2G-1 had folding wings. Not hydraulic like the F2G-2 but manual ones @Hedero @Brields95
