@FlyingHueman I had the exact same feeling for the F-35. After talking to members of the RAF and doing further research I think it’s going to be an incredible plane. I saw it flying last year at an airshow in the UK and it was magnificent. Also, the RAF is retiring it’s super Tucanos now which is very sad since it was always one of my favourites at the airshows. Brazilian aircraft are very nice.

  • AADC-1 v7 5.9 years ago

@AcTiveKiLLerz seriously it’s incredible. Let me know if you’re building any other planes soon

  • (WIP) AADC-1 v2 5.9 years ago

This looks really great so far! Kind of like a mix between a MiG-29 and an Su-27

  • zd-13 5.9 years ago

I was going to say it looks like a MiG-21 but modernised and then I see this was derived from the J-7. Very cool plane!

  • TU160 5.9 years ago

It looks cool but it’s hard to fly

  • F232 Tornado Wolf (PC) 5.9 years ago

@CALVIN232 Yeah it’s not easy to get VTOL to work this well. Great job on it!

  • Sea Falcon - Royal Navy 5.9 years ago

Thanks! @CALVIN232 if you could upvote I would appreciate it a lot!

  • Stinging Bee 5.9 years ago

Ahhh I see you have a bit of a CoM and CoL problem. Remember that the CoM always has to be in front of the CoL. There is usually a sweet spot where you will get the best performance out of your aircraft. It also helps to make the elevator control surfaces bigger. Good luck!

  • BAE-8 MK2 5.9 years ago

    Very cool!

  • P-51 with torpedos and parachute 5.9 years ago

You messed up the flaps when you copied the previous plane

  • AN 225 5.9 years ago

The wings seem to flap a little and it has twice as many engines as the real one hahaha. Nice plane though! You should put a Buran shuttle on top of it though!

  • Chrome_Rose_XXL [Tonnkatu500] 5.9 years ago

    This thing looks really cool!

  • Ki-81 5.9 years ago

Really good stuff! If you add a throttle and stick/yoke to the cockpit it would be absolutely perfect!

  • AH c2 Hiden 5.9 years ago

This is fantastic! That bomb rack system and the interactive cockpit are fantastic. Very nice work!

  • ALN-34-0.2 5.9 years ago

Whoa this thing looks great! Roll rate is a bit slow but other than that it’s very cool! Very creative design

  • Kantai Kork Mk.I 5.9 years ago

I actually really enjoy flying this plane! You did a nice job with it. Two small things I would do differently though are the cockpit and rear end of the aircraft. It’s nicer to have something not so flat in the back and to have the cockpit stock out a little more and not fit in so seamlessly like on a real aircraft (or Avro York in this case). Regardless, you did a fantastic job!

  • Blue Beast 5.9 years ago

Fun little plane! I didn’t expect it to go so fast! One thing you might want to watch out for on future builds is to make sure the landing gear is low enough or that the propellers are short enough to be able to land the plane. As it is now, if the landing is anything more than the smoothest one possible, the propellers will break off on touchdown. Also small thing but the captain of a plane sits on the left side! Either way though this is a cool build for one of your first!

Did you apply for the Brazilian Air Force and can you not get laser surgery in order to pass the eye test? The Tucano is one of my favourites as well, especially the CAS/COIN versions of it. Tone of my latest builds I’m working on now is somewhat Tucano inspired but was usually for my builds, it’s fictional. I like seeing all the COIN/CAS aircraft at air shows since they were all built very sturdy which usually allows the pilots to still do a few hard turns and ends up looking impressive. It’s funny that people who are studying that type of engineering don’t want to work on cars or planes. I used to want to study aeronautical engineering and got my physicals higher level degree in high school but at the last moment I decided not to. I’m still very interested in engineering but I’m happy with what I chose instead. It would be nice to have people doing European Law who were for some reason also very interested in aviation though hahahaha.

What is your opinion on the F-35? Everyone seems to have very different reasons for why they either love it or hate it.

  • BF-109G fuselage 5.9 years ago

That’s the most complete subassembly I’ve ever seen bruh hahah

  • Wing-12 5.9 years ago

I kind of like flying this inverted

  • F232 Tornado Wolf (PC) 5.9 years ago

The VTOL on this works fantastically!

  • PtM 72 5.9 years ago

Wow I remember helping you out with this! Your builds have become so much better now. I actually kept making small changes to this plane and now I have it saved on my phone but it hardly looks like the original at all. I’ll post it unlisted tomorrow to show you.

  • Saab JAS 39 Gripen 5.9 years ago

This is superb! What a fantastic build! It flies and looks great

  • GE-104 forcer 5.9 years ago

@emanuelga Yeah there is no reason for me to spam all my little projects which are just purely made for personal fun and not ones which look good. I think many people who play this game think that all their planes which fly relatively well should be posted but it’s quite easy to make ones which fly well. However, it’s hard to make planes which look really good that also fly really well. Planes like those, such as this one we are commenting on, should always be posted.

  • Tomahawk missile 5.9 years ago

As simple as this seems, it’s actually really impressive! Great build!

  • GE-104 forcer 5.9 years ago

@emanuelga I think many people take breaks. If you look at my posts, you see the most recent one was a year ago but I haven’t stopped playing the game. Sometimes I just don’t feel like putting in the effort into making something completely new or to the standard that I feel has to be there for me to upload. I also have started many unfinished projects which I hope to get done and some point since they have taken up a lot of time so far and look like they will turn out great.

  • Socrux S.Ca. 152 Narval 5.9 years ago

@FlyingHueman and I totally understand the whole getting going thing when you start talking about aircraft hahaha. I have the same problem. It’s interesting you mention the mirage 2000 for looks alone. I love the way that aircraft looks but I find that that’s the only part of it I really like as its kind of lacking behind most other aircraft of its era (in my opinion at least). Also most of the aircraft you have a special mention to also have their special place for myself as well, especially the Catalina. I once had the opportunity to fly in one but I was very young and couldn’t appreciate the experience as much as I would have had I done it now.

  • Socrux S.Ca. 152 Narval 5.9 years ago

@FlyingHueman You definitely know your stuff! It seems that we had almost entirely moved away from relatively simple aircraft designs up until recently with the designs for new light attack aircraft. It’s nice to speak with other people who share a passion for aircraft. Everyone I know, including pilots, who is interested in aeroplanes only seem to be interested in one specific aspect of it (e.g. just flying or just the mechanics) but it’s nice when the whole topic is of interest. Aviation is really fantastic. Do you fly at all or are you planning on getting a pilots licence at some point?

  • GE-104 forcer 5.9 years ago

@emanuelga it is tough to get points on here especially now since it seems less players are actively going on the site, especially with SR2

  • Raven Prototype 5.9 years ago

“Based on Tutorial Plane” hahaha. I would say this is far cooler than the tutorial plane

  • GE-104 forcer 5.9 years ago

No problem! I used to find it frustrating when a post wouldn’t gain the attention I thought it deserved during the first day of uploading it. Sometimes, I would reupload the next day during one of these times and it would get far more upvotes. @emanuelga

  • GE-104 forcer 5.9 years ago

@emanuelga I usually publish between 3-6pm central European time or around 10-11pm. Those are times that people get off work/school and before they go to sleep. I find that’s when people look at this website the most. I would guess it works for times in the US as most players who seem to be interactive on this site come from Europe and the US.

  • canberra B mk6 5.9 years ago

I like this build too. I feel like you could remake this better now and with bay doors too. Nice choice of plane as well.

  • attack helecopter 5.9 years ago

You should re-upload this with the new helicopter engine. It looks very cool but without the gyro it’s hard to fly. Nice build nonetheless!

  • Wr-200 Longsword 5.9 years ago

Nice build man! It flies pretty well too. Apart from your other build based on the SU-47, what other planes did you use for inspiration?

  • Westland wyvern s4 5.9 years ago

This is really fantastic! Awesome build, especially for one of your first uploads

  • L O A F 5.9 years ago

This is what I see in my sleep paralysis. On a side note, was anyone else disappointed that you couldn’t drop slices with the AG buttons?

  • gaer t-02 concept 5.9 years ago

    Your landing gear is fantastic!

  • Comet Blue Angels (Smoke) 5.9 years ago

Yellow and blue always goes well on aircraft. And thank you, I’m happy you think so @methirasoysa123

  • Comet Blue Angels (Smoke) 5.9 years ago

@methirasoysa123 Well thank you and thanks for the spotlight!

  • Skylift 5.9 years ago

The simplicity with the functional cockpit actually makes this build more fun than many of the more detailed versions of this helicopter. Nice work!

  • Modern bomber 5.9 years ago

This is a really nice build especially for one of your first! I like the cockpit and bay doors. What would make this way better though would be a more realistic nose. Making the nose shape right is annoying and takes some time but it really helps to add a nice touch to the aircraft. Still, this is a super cool aircraft!

  • B-20C Wingfortress 5.9 years ago

    @methirasoysa123 cheers for the spotlight!

  • Socrux S.Ca. 152 Narval 5.9 years ago

@FlyingHueman Yeah it’s the engines which give it that Sud feel. I see in your bio that you’ve always had passion for aviation. Any specific type of aircraft or time period you like in particular?

  • Socrux S.Ca. 152 Narval 5.9 years ago

And yet another very cool plane. Nice work! It reminds me of a cross between and Me-262 and a Sud Aviation Vautour. Great build!

  • Hungarian Fighter Aircraft Early War 5.9 years ago

I think the aircraft this is supposed to be is the Mavag Heja which is essentially the Hungarian version of the Italian RE.2000. Nicely built too!

  • Junkers JU-87 A-1 Stuka 5.9 years ago

    Makes sense hahaha @Diloph

  • Douglas DC3 5.9 years ago

For your first replica it’s really good! What definitely helps is to have a picture of the upper view of the real plane on hand so you can make sure they align properly. This is a good one though

  • Simple F-15S MT Eagle + 5.9 years ago

This is so cool! The one thing I would change is make the cockpit slightly larger and less seamless with the rest of the fuselage.

  • T-2.4A 5.9 years ago

    Very nice!
