    This is very cool! it looks fantastic and flies superbly as well. I see that you are a glider pilot in real life too! Where do you fly and have you tried powered flight too?

    This is really cool! It’s got a very unique look to it and I can see why you chose the name you did! Lovely build!

  • MiG-21Y 6.1 years ago

    @Mumpsy well thank you very much! I tried to make it somewhat creative while still being a plausible soviet design.

  • BAC-197 Dominator 6.1 years ago

    This would be cool to see flying at night

    @tessemi thanks for the spotlight!

  • Tu-160M 6.1 years ago

    @AsougiRin it looks good but don’t say that! There is plenty you can do on iOS. I almost exclusively use my iPhone to build these

  • MiG-21Y 6.1 years ago

    @Sadboye12 cheers buddy!

  • MiG-21Y 6.1 years ago

    @methirasoysa123 lol how what?

  • MiG-21Y 6.1 years ago

    @Generalkrayt I’m glad you seem to like it

  • MiG-21Y 6.1 years ago

    @AircraftoftheRedStar yeah I took everything but it sadly doesn’t work. Thanks for your help with that anyway though!

  • GP-38 Tall hood 6.1 years ago

    @Baby that would be pretty awesome. I would love to see this in an update or some sort of DLC. It would be totally understandable if they wouldn’t add it for free

  • C-409 6.1 years ago

    Those custom cockpits are fantastic! Wonderful job on those

  • BG-11 Heavy Bomber 6.1 years ago

    This is pretty neat! I like the custom interior of the plane. Very nice job. One thing I would change is make the yolk (plane steering wheel) move with a piston instead of a rotator. That’s how it works on an actual aircraft like this most of the time

  • Ok, this is really confusing me... 6.1 years ago

    @ND40X no problem buddy!

  • MiG-21Y 6.1 years ago

    @Yamilehh78 lol sure buddy

  • Mig21 6.1 years ago

    I made a regular MiG-21 (a model D) around 1.7 years ago. You should check it out to see how the MiG-21 shape really looks like and where the engine inlet intake is

  • MiG-21Y 6.1 years ago

    @Yamilehh78 lol I think your mig looks a little different to mine

  • GP-38 Tall hood 6.1 years ago

    @AircroftDesigin me too. Would be nice if there was a specific game made for each sort of vehicle type. Would be awesome to make ships and trains with specialised parts for them.

  • 160 6.1 years ago

    @AsougiRin I’m looking forward to seeing it! If you do post it tag me in the comments so I can see it

  • MiG-21Y 6.1 years ago

    @AircraftoftheRedStar they shoot off and less than a second later they veer off very high and to the right

  • Ok, this is really confusing me... 6.1 years ago

    @ND40X it’s quite simple to do actually. I’ve been making custom controls on my latest builds and I just uploaded one today. You can take a look at how those are made or even use them if you’d like

  • Mig-21 Fishbed 6.1 years ago

    @Prolex917 no problem!

  • 160 6.1 years ago

    This is really nice!

  • MiG-21Y 6.1 years ago

    @AircraftoftheRedStar I tried to use them on it but none of the missiles would work unfortunately. I have a saved version which has the custom missiles though. It’s the one I fly on my phone

  • MiG-21Y 6.1 years ago

    @FlyingHueman cheers buddy! I’m glad you caught that one hahaha

  • HMS Duke of york 6.1 years ago

    @Trainzo thank you very much!

  • Mig-21 Fishbed 6.1 years ago

    Whoa this is a really nice build! I love it when I see new MiG-21s uploaded

  • MK-400-100H 6.1 years ago

    Whoa this is pretty nice. I like the progress you’ve made with this. It looks quite cool the way it is now

  • Drone 166 6.1 years ago

    This just leaves me speechless. So incredibly well made

  • Ok, this is really confusing me... 6.1 years ago

    @ND40X sometimes it’s just for the best. Why don’t you just add fake ones?

  • Ok, this is really confusing me... 6.1 years ago

    @ND40X I would try to just add support struts and beams to outline where the glass is. You can also use a single block to cover the whole cockpit area so that you can see everything when in cockpit view mode. Other than that maybe try the XML modded pieces which are sort of transparent

  • Balsa Wood Biplane 6.1 years ago

    @swgrainger yeah flying planes yourself is much more fun but it hasn’t stopped me collecting models like a madman hahaha. I did stop with building though. I tried to make my own designed models of balsa and foam board but it never works the way I hope

  • Ok, this is really confusing me... 6.1 years ago

    @ND40X so when I tested it out, the plane stalls between 75-80mph in both conditions. This however is still a problem as the flaps don’t do what they are meant to do. I tried moving the CoL closer to the front of the plane and reducing the weight but for some reason the exact same thing happens. What it could be is that the specific XML modded wings you have aren’t good flaps. I have a couple different ones in my sub assemblies and some work far better than others. It’s kind of a disappointing answer but that’s most likely the problem. It’s not very noticeable though and most people tend to land far from stall speed and only use that to flare (as much as you can actually flare in a small plane like this lol). They still make you pitch up more than you would be able to when flying slow so they do somewhat assist you in landing. I hope this helps! Also the plane looks great!

  • Balsa Wood Biplane 6.1 years ago

    @swgrainger that would be very cool to see! Do you build model planes too or just digitally?

  • MiG-42 (Twin 21) 6.1 years ago

    @Zanedavid because that’s exactly what this plane was really created for lol
