    I see you’re sort of new here (this is your first post even though your account is older) so I’ll just show you the Rules Page real quick :)

  • P-51 D (@Mustang51 version) 5.9 years ago

    Glad it flies well now :)

  • one wing 5.9 years ago

    @Marshmann no don’t worry I didn’t expect it to be done today. I’m not like waiting for it lol

  • one wing 5.9 years ago

    @Marshmann no problem!

  • one wing 5.9 years ago

    @Marshmann no worries! And no my afterburners are just other engines which only activate when you press an AG. Flaps also work differently. I recommend you just take one off of one of my planes and use it. Look for the wing with a control surface that moves with VTOL

  • V-02 5.9 years ago

    This thing has an awesome looking profile! Lovely aircraft!

  • SR-73 Starhunter 5.9 years ago

    @Erebos you’re pretty good at it. I still gotta practice making them better. Also congratulations on silver!

  • Hengchun Class patrol vessel 5.9 years ago

    This is magnificent!

  • SR-73 Starhunter 5.9 years ago

    This looks awesome! Did you make those cockpit parts yourself?

  • Rockwell X-31 5.9 years ago

    This is amazing man! Such a fun aircraft to fly and it looks great too. It’s very easy to recover after departing from flight too. Excellent job!

  • BETA "Equus pedis" 5.9 years ago

    I love but mostly hate this thing. It moves so well but now I’m going to have nightmares lol

  • PADC P300 Balaklaot II 5.9 years ago

    This is great! I especially like the method for the landing gear

  • The Norma Heavy Transporter 5.9 years ago

    It looks great and flies really great... when one slight modification is made. If you change pitch on the engines to automatic, you will be able to use the flaps without changing the prop pitch to be too low or high. If you want to control it manually, you should separate the flap and prop pitch controls. Nevertheless, this is an absolutely fantastic build and I’m looking very forward to seeing what you come up with next!

    This is a really cool build! It’s manoeuvrability is very realistic and quite impressive. It’s slightly underpowered (especially at lower altitudes) but other than that it’s great. Looks lovely too, any inspiration from the DH Vampire or Venom?

  • Hawker Harrier Jump Jet V STOL 5.9 years ago

    This is pretty nice! You have the basic shape of the harrier made very well, now it’s time to focus on proportions! The fuselage feels a little thin and the vertical stabiliser could be a bit bigger. After testing it, I can say that for a VTOL plane it flies pretty well but there are some simple ways to improve it. One is to give it more power since it feels quite underpowered now. Another is to use four VTOL nozzles instead of just two (you should put Two on each side and have the CoM in the middle of them). The plane also needs a little more weight in the nose as the CoM and CoL are too close together, especially without the drop tanks. An easy fix to make the VTOL flight more stable is also to add a gyroscope. This may seem like a lot of criticism and work to do, but I promise these are all really simple fixes! Overall I really like this build, you did a great job!

  • Ferdinand SAB II A (50mm) 5.9 years ago

    @Frenchman no problem man! You’re still a relatively new builder so it’s totally understandable. You are able to make something look great though so now focus on making it fly really well too 🙂

  • one wing 5.9 years ago

    Whoa! This thing is really responsive. You should post unfinished builds unlisted though so that you don’t have to post the same plane multiple times :)

  • Finally made a profile pic! 5.9 years ago

    @Subnerdica lol I figured

  • x wing 5.9 years ago

    @UnicornMike go for it! It’s easier to explain that stuff on discord so I can help you out when you add me

    @UnicornMike well nice that you joined us again! I played all through high school, university, and now I’m on SP while at work lol

  • CL-415 5.9 years ago

    @Diloph yup! It’s something that many newer builders don’t realise and it makes great looking aircraft fly terribly hahaha. I might make a forum post about it actually since so many cool looking builds seem to have this issue

  • Sukhoi Su-85 5.9 years ago

    @DaDerpachu123 I’ll tag you in something where you can take them off

  • Sukhoi Su-85 5.9 years ago

    @DaDerpachu123 thrust vectoring engines greatly help with that as well as adding some wing tip smoke pods (not the mod ones though)

  • TB-10 5.9 years ago

    @GERMANGAMER1 hahaha probably a good idea

  • Heinkel He 111Z-2 "Zwilling" 5.9 years ago

    Now this is awesome! Lovely build!

  • Finally made a profile pic! 5.9 years ago

    @Nutsee 👍🏼

  • CL-415 5.9 years ago

    @wuxurui222 no problem!

  • CL-415 5.9 years ago

    So this thing looks really cool and the cockpit is great but it’s almost impossible to fly because of where the CoM is relative to the CoL. It makes the plane really unstable. Apart from that it’s perfect and when I moved it forwards myself it fly great

  • M1 Abrams 105mm L7 (1980) 5.9 years ago

    @XePec I think on SP it’s probably easier to do it on tanks. I’ve never tried either though so I can’t say for certain

  • Prop A-10 5.9 years ago

    This is a pretty cool build! Nice one

  • Prop A-10 5.9 years ago

    @Diloph lol it was pretty good I gotta say

  • Sukhoi Su-85 5.9 years ago

    @DaDerpachu123 it’s unrealistic but very very fun to fly

  • Mig-17 5.9 years ago

    @BillyTheKid1138 then just leave it how it is. It’s not worth overthinking. It will hardly change it at all if you add 500lbs to the front. You can also move the CoM of the engine at the back forwards using XML. That way you won’t add any “useless weight” but the CoM will still be forward enough of the CoL to make it stable. It’s a fighter meant for dogfighting which takes place at lower speeds usually so having better handling at lower speeds is important

  • twin prop pusher plane 5.9 years ago

    Hey you fixed it! Awesome work buddy! It looks really cool and flies fantastic! Excellent job on this build

  • Mig-17 5.9 years ago

    @BillyTheKid1138 no it’s much more simple than that. You gotta move the CoM further away from the CoL. You can do this by adding weight to the front of the aircraft or removing it from the back. What I would do with xml editing is reduce the engine power lol

  • Sukhoi Su-85 5.9 years ago

    Very cool looking aircraft! Lovely idea for a fighter

  • Asteroid Industries As-19 Spectre Desert Camo 5.9 years ago

    This is amazing! It reminds me of a MiG-21 Analog but modernised. Lovely build!

  • Mig-17 5.9 years ago

    @BillyTheKid1138 whatever you say kid

  • Mig-17 5.9 years ago

    @BillyTheKid1138 buddy the pilot would legitimately die in that thing 😂

  • Name Help!!!! OVER 5.9 years ago

    @teodor99 I can’t actually see it anymore since my notifications are full (from other things too) but probably like 18-20 hahaha

  • Mig-17 5.9 years ago

    @BillyTheKid1138 it’s not about different goals. It’s about what constitutes as “better” since there is no objective answer when it comes to this. However, stating that your unrealistic plane flies better than realistic ones is objectively false as this is something which can be measured. When it comes to replicas, realism is better (hence the name replica)

  • prototype 26 5.9 years ago

    I gave you a few for the excess you gave me. Thanks again!
