@TheKraken3 the flight controls are actually fairly realistic compared to most on this website. Usually planes are too manoeuvrable but yours has a fairly realistic turn rate and it’s not overly smooth. The weight of the aircraft is also fairly realistic which is a bonus. It’s very well done
@JamesBleriot it looks slightly like it’s influenced by the PB4Y liberator (not the B-24 variant) but it’s clearly a different aircraft. Why be a bad sport about it?
@FlyingHueman that’s really odd. When I turn the pitch control surface’s trim to “on” (not inverted), it works just as it should. Sometimes planes work slightly differently for different devices though so this could be the reason
@FlyingHueman yeah it’s not an easy type of plane to build. You did a great job of it though! Some trim tabs would help fly a little easier but that’s not too big a deal. I like the curving of the wing that you did though. You don’t see that on flying wings too often
This is a pretty nice looking build! The VTOL design is also pretty cool and it’s different that the whole wing moves instead of just the engine. I’m not the biggest fan of the third engine but overall this is super cool!
@RASEN1914 no problem buddy! Your builds are incredible and I’m really looking forward to seeing more. Tag me in it when you post it so that I can see it for sure! Any hint on what it is?
@TrislandianAlliance my guy you didn’t read what I said. Go back and look and then you will see that I said the MiG-31 could bit the MiG-25 couldn’t. using your eyes
This is really fantastic! The detail in this is superb and most of all, it looks like it could have really been a Soviet fighter jet. Most of the fictional planes I see look realistic to some degree but you aren’t surprised they were fictional. With this one, I actually had to double check whether this was built or not. It flies very well too. Reminds me somewhat of a Soviet F-14. Lovely build!
@LockheedLover the true air speed of mach 3.5 depends on the altitude as mach number depends on air pressure. The cruise speed of the SR-71 at 85,000 ft (it’s normal cruise altitude) is around 3,500kmh while the MiG-25 cruises around 2,500kmh but I’m not sure at which altitude. Both aircraft can certainly go faster than their cruise speeds but especially for the MiG-25, this is extremely damaging for the engines and even borderline dangerous. Also the true top speed of the SR-71 is unknown as it was not tested beyond certain speeds due to uncertainty over what would happen to the airframe. Another point about the MiG-25 altitude is that although it has gone higher than an SR-71 before, it could not sustain that altitude for long, thus the cruise speed and altitude of the SR-71 is superior. Besides, the missiles used by the MiG-25 were essentially inoperable around the cruise altitude of the blackbird and the MiG-25 never successfully intercepted an SR-71 although they have tried. History has other points to say on this matter.
@Thelegitpilot13 you make fantastic aircraft so it only felt right to upvote what I enjoyed flying. Lots of people seem to like builds and then not upvote or comment so I thought I’d try to somewhat change that. I’m excited to see all the future aircraft you make!
@LockheedLover yeah but that was really pushing it’s engines. Normally it was around 2.5 at altitude and the SR-71 cruises at mach 3.5. It also did have both an altitude and aerodynamic advantage to the MiG-25. However, the 31 was able to somewhat intercept it so it repelled the Americans from flights directly over the USSR but not around it.
This plane is really nice but it’s a shame it needs mods to fly. When I added a motor it flew very well and it felt quite realistic to how such an aircraft would fly. Wonderfully built but use xml modded engines instead!
This is a pretty nice MiG-21! There’s been a lot of these being posted recently and this is one of the better ones! The armament could be more realistic but other than that it’s really good!
The body of the jet looks really good! However, I would definitely change the cockpit. It doesn’t ruin the plane but having a normal cockpit would make it look far better. Nice job nonetheless!
@LH2038 that’s a nice mix of planes. It looks really good
+1This looks pretty cool. It seems like more of a modern trainer or light attack aircraft than a WWII fighter though hahaha. Nice sleek design
@XxHELLCAT2GOOD4UxX I will take a look at it

@FlyingHueman why not add the trim to the pitch control surfaces?
My goodness this is fantastic! Did you base it off any bomber in particular or more than one?

This is really really nice! You probably know I’m a sucker for flying wings and this one is bloody good!
@weebabyseamus thanks for that! I’m looking forward to see the changes/improvements you’ve made
Very nice build of a cool jet!
+1Exceptional build. The detailing, especially on the wings and cockpit, is just fantastic
This is a really nice aircraft! It’s also probably for the best that the previous comment was removed hahaha

@RASEN1914 Excellent! Your WWI builds are my favourite of yours thus far so I am looking forward to seeing more of them.
I would quite like to have one of these
+1@RASEN1914 no problem buddy! Your builds are incredible and I’m really looking forward to seeing more. Tag me in it when you post it so that I can see it for sure! Any hint on what it is?
@TrislandianAlliance lol then why make a fool of yourself? It’s childish
@belugasub gotta defend facts

@Alpha1M no problem!
Very nicely made. It flies very well too

@SuperSabre1945 looking forward to seeing the finished build! Tag me in it when it’s done
Whenever I restart on the Wright Final Approach
USS Beast: “Aww sh*t, here we go again”
+4Damn this is an incredible build. I wish this was real
This is a really cool concept. It looks really good and flies well too
You just got yourself a new follower!
Really incredible job. Fantastic Super Hornet!
This is really fantastic. What a lovely build of a lovely aircraft
+1This is a neat plane with a really cool concept behind it. It seems more like a luft 46 idea
+1A big cat’s worst nightmare
+1This is so cool! I’ve never seen a build like this!
That sounds like it will be really cool! It’s got a nice shape to build using the SP platform so I hope it works out. I’m looking forward to seeing it

+4Congratulations on platinum!
+1I see now you’ve been very good at this for a long time hahaha
This camo is really well made. That must have taken some effort
You have a very nice taste in aircraft. You build them incredibly well too!
