It would still be the same. Maintaining something large and fragile would be insane and impractical. Plus the loss of a leg would cause the complete loss of the walker.
@FlyingThings
Literally every time I upload this walker, someone has to mention that April Fools from a year ago... and yeahx it would be kinda cool for that.
@IAmMyBoss
Heh, mistakes happen. I sometimes accidentally use hinge rotators instead of normal rotators. The Lippisvh design I'm making had some panels that raised up from the wings to act as a stabilizer, and I accidentally used hinges on it... it didn't go well.
@ThePrototype
I'll pass for the moment, I've got other things to finish.
@Fjorge
Yep, and wheels too.
@FlyingThings
It would still be the same. Maintaining something large and fragile would be insane and impractical. Plus the loss of a leg would cause the complete loss of the walker.
@FlyingThings
True, but the cost of making and maintaining something like this would be insane.
@FlyingThings
That, and the fact that technology hasen't progressed enough fir something as large and armed as this to stand on two legs.
@FlyingThings
Many, many, many reasons... I can probably keep you here for well over 30 minutes explaining why.
@FlyingThings
Literally every time I upload this walker, someone has to mention that April Fools from a year ago... and yeahx it would be kinda cool for that.
@IAmMyBoss
It's alright, ya got it fixed up quick.
@FlyingThings
And it would do so with three comments. Heh, I find it funny that the recoil is the biggest concern.
@FlyingThings
Yeah it would, but it's a Rick, so logic need not apply.
@FlyingThings
I've got (hopefully) a handy tool of worm destruction waiting to be put into use
Funny thing is, when I originally made this, I never seen/heard the War Thunder April Fools event.
@RailfanEthan
Awesome, alrighty.
@Oski
For seventry year, it's been wandering the Sahara, looking for it's allies...
@Botfinder
Nah, no one's thinking it.
@WEAPONSMITH
Possibly a 7.5 cm Pak 40 for anti-tank guns, or for mounting on vehicles
Build a little Fw 42. It's a simple canard bomber from the 30's
Danke!
@Fjorge
What it is, is along the lines of "Pz-ST". The name still in the works, much like the walker itself.
@Feanor @helilover03 @FlyingThings
Yeah, something like that... unless it's supposed to be swept because of the plane type...
@doge
So the "wings" going backwards aren't swept? Yeah, I'm just screwing at this point.
@doge
Is a flying wing considered swept wing, or is it still a flying wing?
Danke!
@phanps
Umm... it's supposed to lose that much fuel. It's two massive engines, and a massive jet engine in there.
@P1xeL86
Yeah, you go arm your stuff with guns amd bombs
@Planeengineer31625324
Heh, mkay.
@ThePrototype
Sounds like a lot... hmm. You go do that, I've got some German things to work on/finish.
@ThePrototype
Daaaang. That's gonna be intricate
@ThePrototype
Heh, mistakes happen. I sometimes accidentally use hinge rotators instead of normal rotators. The Lippisvh design I'm making had some panels that raised up from the wings to act as a stabilizer, and I accidentally used hinges on it... it didn't go well.
@ThePrototype
Heh, alrighty. Just throw German complexity in and you're good.
@ThePrototype
Not really. I'm not too much of a heli person
@ThePrototype
Yeah, piston engines get part intensive the higher the HP needed.
@ThePrototype
Dang, sounds like it's gonna be intense.
@ThePrototype
No probs
@ThePrototype
Nah, you do what ya want, but that's all I gotta day gor now about the technique.
@ThePrototype
Hmm... should I keep it a secret...? Nah. I used some well placed air brakes activated by throttle.
@ThePrototype
Danke
@ThePrototype
This is getting a little crazy, I may have to get involved so I can bring in some night fighters and stuff.
Yes, very interesting...
@phanps
Yep! Actually... lemme put up an updated pic of the working one.
@Fjorge
Yes, wings. Flyings wings. The Lippisch one flies really well. The Naranjero can't fly yet, so...
@Fjorge
Heh, no probs bud!
@Rodrigo110
One of those North American countries, I guess or something.
@TemDesBur
No problem!
@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing
Danke!
@Mumpsy
Nah, probably. little too geometric for it's own good.
@InternationalAircraftCompany
Yeah, I do play War Thunder.
@TemDesBur
Niiice. Many movie directors would be proud.
@Awsomur
Well, now ya know
@Orren
It's fancy, and a lil basic, but still fancy.
@InternationalAircraftCompany
