    Place the piece somewhere else on the plane, and nudge it to where it needs to be

  • Some art pieces, or something 7.7 years ago

    Sounds like an interesting idea. I'll keep that in mind for sometime later.

    The reason it was offset was so a gunner could be put in without obstructing the pilot's view too greatly.

    They have offset noses. Maybe not as much as this creation, but they're offset

    Please explain how I was breaking the rules to cause you to block me? Looks like you did cause I was winning.

    The reason only about 7 people have the mod is because it's still in testing...
    And It doesn't seem like you just oppose it. Lets look at your wall of text above;
    "I personally think that from this point forward, this mod shouldn't be allowed, because of the unfair advantage it gives players and because of the drama it is causing. I hope that the moderators and devs decide using this mod is a punishable offense."
    How does that not sound like you may go after someone because of this mod?

    @Benkelmans

  • Screenshot mod (discussion) EDITED 7.7 years ago

    Have you heard of a thing called competition?
    Since the game came out, people have been trying to find ways to make people click their creation over someone's else. This competition started the editor mods that you can go find here, and from what I can see, people have gotten tired of the editor mods, and made the mod you seem to hate so much.
    @Johndfg

  • Screenshot mod (discussion) EDITED 7.7 years ago

    In it's current state, you can't turn any image into a screenshot. You have to send an image of choice to someone else, one of the mod creators, for them to turn it into the mod
    @Johndfg

  • Screenshot mod (discussion) EDITED 7.7 years ago

    No, it's not a problem. People, such as you and another large user, are making the biggest fuss about a (tiny) mod that changes a single screenshot. And really, how would this mod be any differant from an editor mod? One of the reasons those came in existance was to stand out from other planes on the site.
    @Johndfg

  • Screenshot mod (discussion) EDITED 7.7 years ago

    So what if people will click it? Havent you thought about editor mods already existing that change that? Literally all this mod does is add a rectangular panel (with an image of the plane/vehicle) under the disc in the editor that you zoom in on for the screenshot.
    @Johndfg

  • Screenshot mod (discussion) EDITED 7.7 years ago

    You really think a single screenshot of the plane in flight is an advantage when the two other screenshots are of the plane in the editor? Even if the only screenshot is of the mod, people still can go down to the three-view slider and look at the plane there.
    @Johndfg

  • Screenshot mod (discussion) EDITED 7.7 years ago

    Maybe take into consideration the requirements the roughly 7 people had to try the mod out?

  • Is there a way to have yaw stability without dorsal fins? 7.7 years ago

    I fortunately can. I'll try to make a couple air brakes in a variation of sizes for ya.
    @Miniplanes

  • Is there a way to have yaw stability without dorsal fins? 7.7 years ago

    I'd just reccomend making smaller air brakes using XML. Smaller it is, the less air resistance, and less likely it'll flat spin or do crazy things.
    @Miniplanes

  • Is there a way to have yaw stability without dorsal fins? 7.7 years ago

    You need to have the brakes on both sides of the wings, top and bottom for it to work best. A good number of my newer planes use this system, and can almost go into a flat spin when over-using yaw.
    (The Nachtriese is a good example of this)
    @Miniplanes

  • Is there a way to have yaw stability without dorsal fins? 7.7 years ago

    Use air brakes set to yaw placed on wingtips or near wingtips.

  • B-57a 7.7 years ago

    Yep, just possibly. And yeh, I've been working quite a bit on stuff. Just practice a bit, and you'll get better eventually.

    Heya @Toxicgirl, doing alrighty here. Been changing orientation of built content quite a bit in the 9 months since we last talked. And, It's possible I did miss ya.
