I've taken note of how people run their countries an militaries (with an iron fist, no attrition, and capable of moving across continents in seconds...), I made sure to keep my military small, use existing companies that I'm decently sure isn't used (Rheinmetall) to produce my weapons and equipment, and myself is more of a representative of the country instead of being a major leader or political officer in the country/military. also, mild surprise I got that mention with the sliiiiight misspell
@HarryBen47
I'm in with Strikefighter04 and SuperSix about any sort of space force, not because they came up with this idea and I've somehow been magically brainwashed into believeing it, but because though my own decently extensive research that anything outside a satellite is economically unviable for any sort of country, unless the country is a global superpower or a supermassive corporation.
And if you're gonna throw a "fit" about a SLRP Mod, personally picked by Strikefighter himself (with what I hope was an extensive search through past comments and forums over time), then you're probably one of the reasons RP mods had to be introduced.
@ChiyomiAnzai
I honestly don't get why people always do this in any RP; they go and claim to have a massive number of fully function, combat-capable WW2 era tanks or aircraft, and instead of helping the historical community of the RP by putting such equipment into a museum or in hands of collectors, decide to completly destroy any historical or function value of the tank or plane, as what it was, and modernize it.
Just completly glossing over how horribly inept at modern combat these tanks were, how impractical they were in their own war, their abilities to move independently without breaking down, and adding in the additional and very likely expensive equipment being put on for propaganda purposes...
Lets just not forget all these tanks and aircraft are grossly outdated in speed, offensive and (usual lack of) defensive weapons, and their complete design as a whole (some WW2 planes made of wood and canvas, and tanks either being just RHS or cast steel).
I'm on the understanding it isn't too necessary to add it to mobile alongside the existing two islands.
Maybe it could be added as its own map to chose from, but mod maps available for android is enough.
@MemphisBelle
I've got decent amounts of tug and small cargo craft available for use, as long as you're able to pay for replacements and use of said ships.
@MemphisBelle
Glad to hear
While no, Gotland doesn't have any major ports for warships, but Königsberg can support a number of Panamax freighters.
Though, the carrier wouldn't be able to dock per se, more of anchor near the docks.
@MemphisBelle
Depending on the size of the rod, it can and will level a city.
Now, while I may not have a 100% detailed understanding of your space station, other than it's capable of firing tungsten rods of indeterminate size at reentey speeds, that such a weapon is considerably unfair in conventional warfare, and definitely too costly to maintain for just about any country to afford save for the United States and/or Russia some decades in the future. and geez... the reason it's not outlined in any effing treaty or convention is because no such weapon exists in any working state
@Nerfenthusiast
Yet suprisingly enough when you throw a bomb at an target at reentry speeds, you end up destroying a whole lot more than what you were intending to hit.
And hey, you're more than welcome to believe in whichever side of the political spectrum, but all I'm here to tell you is this; stop, get some help.
@Nerfenthusiast
Even if the President of the US were to somehow magic up a Space Force, it wouldn't excuse you of magic-ing an entire space station capable of destroying an entire countryside.
@Nerfenthusiast
I must say, it does sound pretty solid in the unnecessary threat department, but if you add some of that context stuff...
Now, I must admit, Nerf did start the threats, but reciprocating them back is literally the worst action to take.
Aye aye, chill the Elon Musk out.
No space forces will be had, no threatening other sovereign countries with WMDs, and definitely no breaking people's knees over some money that you'll probably recoup in half a second.
@Nerfenthusiast
Admittedly, it's probably not the best idea to introduce your country to international powers with a threat.
Though, I'd be willing to recognize you as a country if nobody else will.
Heyo, uh, @CrashFighter05, it happens that an incident has happened on our borders in Pomerelia.
7 people killed and 7 injured in a believed miscommunication between border guards.
As of the moment, I'm forced to have troops moved near the border in case any more possible agression were to take place.
Or RC turrets, but that does mean someone still has to gun/operate the turrets, and coordinate them.
That is one of the reasons that killed the concept; coordination.
It was difficult for a single commander to coordinate multiple turrets when he could only be in one at a time, and as soon as you get crazy like the T-35... and the sheer size needed of the chassis to carry the turrets was the other reason that killed the concept. That should be obvious to explain
@ChiyomiAnzai
Cool? Yes.
Actually useful? No.
You're super welocme to like the crazy ideas of the Interwar period, but I'm glad something like WW2 snapped everyone back to reality with tank design.
@ChiyomiAnzai
I wasn't quite able to find a definitive fix, but switching the wings from flat bottom to symmetric helped, as well as reducing the engine's power to 1.5 or less.
It'll be easier to send them in large parts than the whole jet, to save space on the cargo ship.
Afterall, it takes a whole cargo container to store just the fuselage and engine.
@CptJacobson
It's likely the P.018a-2e won't be available for a long while, since there isn't too much of a current need to update and/or replace it.
And the P.005a-e, I can get you those real quick. Lemme set up a route to where they need to be, and get a quote for price.
So transport in parts via Panamax, with fuel for each of them will be 152,250,000 Euros. Translate that to/from whatever currency you wish.
@CptJacobson
It doesn't change that there's no way to protect ground forces against attacks from space without completly destroying the station.
Not to mention, people with space stations/weapons get a bit... questionable
@Nerfenthusiast
Seems a bit unnecessarily long for an intro.
I'd say that YouTube intros are 15 seconds or shorter.
Take a look now.
@Bman01

Well, not sure what to say about that then.
@MemphisBelle

@MemphisBelle
Sure, yeah.
@MemphisBelle
Alright, parts should be gathered on port and ready when the carrier arrives.
@MemphisBelle
Lovely. Could you send me a list if damaged equipment on the carrier so parts could be assembled and a price estimated?
@MemphisBelle
Wonderful.
Be sure to nofify me when the carrier nears/enters port so the tug fleet can begin work
@MemphisBelle
I've got decent amounts of tug and small cargo craft available for use, as long as you're able to pay for replacements and use of said ships.
@MemphisBelle
I'm in SLRP, and was directed to you via a few members in the Discord when the incident came up.
@CrashFighter05
Disappointed by lack of fins in 1.
Glad to hear

@MemphisBelle
It's that bit of East Prussia Russia owns, the island of Gotland, and for some reason Lithuania and most of Latvia.
@MemphisBelle
That would more depend on the size of your nation over who endorses your sovereignty.
@MemphisBelle
Uber J A
@SuperSix
No probs mate.
+1@XxDannehxX
Ja
@SuperSix
Thanks
@HarryBen47
Really? Just an "Okay" to hearing that 7 people were killed in an incident on our borders?

Which one, aren't there like 10?
I was for a while too. I'd say practice a bit to improve.
@CrashFighter05
Thanks
+1@Ryn176
It's a sorta "roleplay" with imaginary armies and nations, typically with everyone fighting each other for the pettiest reasons.
@pilotred233
But hey, I'd definently like to see you make some modern equivalent to the T-35.
+2If ya make it, be sure to tag me in it.
@ChiyomiAnzai
Or RC turrets, but that does mean someone still has to gun/operate the turrets, and coordinate them.

@ChiyomiAnzai
Me and a good number of people on the internet are glad the multi-turreted tanks of the 30's died when they did, so lets keep it that
@ChiyomiAnzai
That's quite lovely.
@QuantausAviation
Yeah, lemme mention you on it.
@ChiyomiAnzai
I wasn't quite able to find a definitive fix, but switching the wings from flat bottom to symmetric helped, as well as reducing the engine's power to 1.5 or less.
+1Hasn't the advent of the MBT made turretless tank destroyers somewhat obsolete by now?
Thanks

I'm ruling against any sort of space/orbital weapons.
+1Not to mention, Königsberg Convention will outlaw the type of weapon.
@Strikefighter04
Uhg... lil woosh here, lil woosh there...

didn't you read any bit about the Kessler Syndrome point in my first message?
