After the capture of Iwo Jima (Sulfur Island in Japanese), USAF would establish escort fighter bases on the island to carry out escort missions from "lwo" to Japanese national territory, protecting the B-29s.
This P-51D/K christened (fictitious) “Ms. Iwo Beauty” represents one of those escorts, it is not very agile, it is loaded with fuel to the ceiling! but their tanks can be drained to lighten the device and the performance changes when the fuel goes down
