I'm browsing the newest airplanes when I suddenly come across this beauty! Nicely built, lots of missiles, custom torpedoes, and a lotta unique tricks on the functionality of everything! Just a few things of note.
.
1) I'm not sure how you did it but when it does the way the missiles seem to steer themselves at targets without a lock is insane and impressive! I'm unsure if it's supposed to work outside SP's arbitrary 10 miles radar limit, but it's still impressive! They're insanely accurate too, and can easily wipe out a fleet! They don't all seem to work consistently though, at least in my tests.
.
2) Just a small thing, but the tube doors don't always open in sync with missile launch. I won't rage on this too much since I can relate the difficulties of getting weapon ammo functions to work properly
.
3) A Free Diver! No pistons here, except in the system that protects the missiles. Otherwise, it dives freely without mechanical bits!
.
4)Custom torpedoes! With their own interesting methods of function
.
5)I like how you've used the cannon part for weapon functionality! Both for launching missiles and torpedoes and in acting as versatile warheads! The system can seemingly have some minor dysfunctions though.
.
Although a teeny bit rough in some functional areas, it's overall an amazing submarine!
@unCANNY Go on ahead! In my opinion it's the best system for aiming guns. Also I could never think of a better name for it than "VTOL and Trim but with WASD", so thanks for that!
Man when you're like me and build them a lot you forget just how big 1:1 scale warship builds really are. Taking a walk on one really goes to show the scale of these ships, I look forward to when she's out!
@TanksWorldwide It is a Replica of that exact ship. Don't be too scared, it has 0 drag and no drag calculations, so the potential lag is mitigated if not almost entirely gone. Even with the main release over 1000 parts it'll link to a 400 part unlisted version which should be more friendly.
Pretty well done for a bronze user! Always cool to see the typical expectations of a low point user be broken. The stabilized turret is pretty nice, as is the inclusion of suspension among other details.
.
This thing is quite fast though, even for a modern tank. Thus if one takes a hill to fast they'll catch some air that'll kill this thing on impact. The power does make this thing climb like a champ though!
Another cool Biologic build! One potential tip though, nudging some spheres (with collisions disabled of course) into the joints could make them look a little less janky in their visuals when the tail flaps.
A very nice Radar vehicle! Perfect for putting your radar positions on mountains, given its reaction to mountainous terrain is something along the lines of "What difficult terrain?"
@typeZERO I can see where Rodrigo's getting at. Second place has a more smooth body shape with plentiful details on the hull. What made your sub win in the aesthetics department for me was mainly how unique its visuals were. A sharp angular design themed around a shark, it really caught my eye.
@MiladicPlanes Evidently they prefer to prevent such things from happening when possible as opposed to deleting everything on a case by case basis. The prohibition on Upvote links is an example of where they hold that reasoning.
@riko Aaaah I see, gotcha.
@riko Sometimes it looks as if it doesn't launch, and instead just shoots cannon shells. That might be a sign of depleted missiles though.
+1Oh, and the visuals aren't bad either. Love the emblem! And the overall design looks unique yet realistic.

Andrew has taken a flight right into the uncanny valley.
+1@ThomasRoderick I'll consider trying that one out, thanks!

+1@Doughnut45 When you cobble together some fuselage parts into a hull and put big guns on it.
@NumbersNumbersTheMan That silky smoothness most likely has to do with the 0 drag, this thing's got well over 1K parts after all! xD
Backing up! Backing up! Backing up! Backing up!

+1Someone else made a Slava! And a really nice one too.
@BetaFischYT Some people use VPN's, so it might be difficult to IP ban trolls from the server. Just a little warning.
You probably should have given a link to the discord and only given the IP privately. All Deities help you if trolls come into your server.
@KerlonceauxIndustries Here's early access, give the Flak a try.
It does.
+1@BoganBoganTheMan It's gonna be Richelieu post refit, so I intend to add the proper coloration.
@WarHawk95 I decided to utilize your idea though, since it makes for a better title than my Google-Translating xP
+1@WarHawk95 I won't lie, I was being a trash and using google translate to gimme the words for 'A Blanket of Flak'.

+1@Iamcat Dead mod, Mod Maker's been gone for ages, don't expect updates.
Make sure the COM is below the main Rotor.
Well, I guess this is the Silver Lining of the whole German Corsair Fiasco, this and Bogdan's entry.
+24Ooooooh that music brought back memories!
@BMilan Ooooh I missed that, dunno how I missed that.

Interesting method to the propulsion, making it need a moment to build up power to get moving. Also the visuals are quite nice!
+2Another cool Biologic build! One potential tip though, nudging some spheres (with collisions disabled of course) into the joints could make them look a little less janky in their visuals when the tail flaps.
Now that is looking beautiful!
+1Sweet! Another free diving submarine, between this and that Eel you've earned a follower!
Now this is cool! An eel that moves through the water like a real thing making for a unique functional free diver!
This tank is so sloped, its entire turret is a slope!
@Mitchellwi So that the enemy submarine will end up like the unfortunate victim of a Taco Bell Dinner.
+2@MrSilverWolf It's cool, like I've said before I'm in no rush. Thanks for helping to test!
+1SCP-4217
@MrSilverWolf I ain't, I'm keeping my posts slower and sparser to keep this game from sucking me in too much xD. So no rush on your part.
+1@Bobofboblandia Project 705 Lira, NATO Designation Alfa.
+3@freerider2142
@MrSilverWolf
Have an early look, and help with some final tests before I finish the description and publish.
A very nice Radar vehicle! Perfect for putting your radar positions on mountains, given its reaction to mountainous terrain is something along the lines of "What difficult terrain?"
+1@typeZERO It didn't, but it did cause lag. It was still fun to use though! And probably has the best presentation of any custom weapon I've seen.
@typeZERO I can see where Rodrigo's getting at. Second place has a more smooth body shape with plentiful details on the hull. What made your sub win in the aesthetics department for me was mainly how unique its visuals were. A sharp angular design themed around a shark, it really caught my eye.
Now that's looking fine! Are you gonna use the gyro propulsion you used on that iron fortress?
Better Solution: Submarine, they can't shoot you when you're below x)

If an easy method of adding text is implemented, its feared by the mods that people will start uploading profanity or other naughty texts.
@BagelPlane Perhaps the metallic setting was it, glad you figured it out! I look forward to seeing how this sub comes together.
@BagelPlane Looks like a graphical glitch, does it still come up with a lower smooth setting?
0/10 too much effort on the diagonal color stripe effect.

Thank you all for participating! I shall get to reviewing all your subs in time, and will make a post detailing your scores.
